Max Energy reset to 300 every night and after sex bug is still not fixed in this version.

Max Energy is set as max 300 in the code
but you can edit it for yourself open \game\main_character\MainCharacter_ren.py line 289 + 290 change the number 300 to the number you would like to have as max

It used to be set at 400 before and could be permanently set to whatever you wanted with a single console command (500, 1000, 3000, etc.).
There is no such file in the pre-packaged version.
And I for sure can't be assed to set up the beta version GIT hub bullshit.
you see the max cap is now 300if you want to use the pre-packaged version, you'll have to live with it.
Does the regular Download get updated with the mod version from time to time?

Game seems to be getting stuck on this scene.
Let it sit for a couple minutes before closing the game and trying again, same thing happened (It froze and remained unresponsive).
Not sure if it's this version (24-08), or something else, but I haven't done anything differently compared to other runs on older updates, and this hasn't been an issue until now (I haven't had the game crash on this scene before).

This is correct. There's also a second condition that ensures it can't occur earlier than the first week, but even if you're playing on the quickest mode it shouldn't ever cause a delay.
Be careful when using UnRen as it's not always 100% effective at decompiling. A few games have resulted in corrupted/broken files after unpacking, and with how large LR2 is it's safer to download the master branch from the git page (~1.7 GB).
Modders probably won't take the time to make the development branch of this game compatible with JoiPlay due to how oftens updates are made. You can try reaching out to one, but chances are they'll tell you to wait until the next major release.

Yes, every game file is there, they just haven't been compiled and packaged. You can just drop the file into the proper game directory and it will override the file that is already packaged in the current install... Ren'Py compiles loose files when the game is launched. It couldn't really be any easier.
Which is why people bitching about the code is a bit hard to take seriously, it all so frigging simple to mod on your own, if you have a functioning brain and a bit of curiosity.
