this one is my list and start play it.I think there is a lot of alternative scenes for every LI?
Its possible, you can go down a romance or a pervy path depending on your choices. I know for a fact one of the scenes changes in part 2 depending on your choice, and you're also locked out of another. But I ultimately didn't play it enough to notice any changes in scenes, and the game lacks a replay gallery to really check

Long Story Short by TTrickGames Reviewed the Ren'Py port at Version 0.10.r2

Story - Honestly, there isn't really a strong central plot; it's mainly about a group of friends beginning to open up to each other sexually. There is some conflict here and there, but nothing major. I would describe it as a slice-of-life game with some NTR elements. However, your interpretation may vary depending on which of the six or so routes you choose. They generally follow similar beats, just focusing on different love interests or different versions of a love interest, with varying amounts of NTR. Luckily, if NTR isn’t your thing, the game offers an option at the start. Some routes feel a bit shallow due to their similarities - this was clear during my latest playthrough, where I completed all six paths and experienced little variation. I can't really fault the writing, though; despite some elements feeling a bit rapid, I didn’t get the impression things were rushed. Personally, I might prefer some narrative moments to be slower, but that’s just my taste and doesn’t diminish the overall quality of the writing.

Renders - I won't lie, the game looks a little dated now. That said, it’s still visually appealing, and some might argue it holds up reasonably well today. Still, I can’t claim it’s one of the nicest-looking games out there by current standards — I could name a few titles that surpass it. Regarding character models, there’s a decent variety, most rendered with a good degree of professionalism. The models are all realistically proportioned; even the busty ones aren’t over the top enough to cause clothing wrap issues. One character’s head size, however, does seem exaggerated — she looks like she belongs on a shelf of Funko Pops or bobbleheads. The environments are plentiful, including bars, a fairground, a theatre, and a clothing shop. They’re generally well-lit and filled with NPCs, creating a lively, lived-in world. The lewd scenes are plentiful, though initially somewhat timid. They gradually become more explicit; although animated, some look a bit clunky, but they’re not as jarring as recent AI-generated scenes, though they still don’t quite compare to the best.

Characters - There are four main characters central to the plot, with a fifth added depending on your route. The protagonist remains fairly standard — not without personality but lacking growth. The other three main characters develop based on your choices: Ann is either the typical college girlfriend, her corrupted version, or rejected and corrupted. Vanessa is either your best friend's girlfriend or the girl you steal away. Your best friend is either your pal or your rival. It’s good that the developer has tried to make each path feel distinct, but while the journeys differ, the ultimate destination remains similar, resulting in only subtle variations so far.

Overall - I like many aspects of this game, though there are also things I don’t. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives, but not by a great margin. My main issue is how the game pushes Ann as the primary love interest, and while that’s important to the story, it’s possible to reject her early on. Yet, the game still acts as if you’re interested, which makes the early routes feel a bit inconsistent and some moments somewhat forced. The story is partly told through Instagram, but the implementation is weak, making some scenes easy to miss — particularly in the Anne Hate route, where a lot of her story unfolds. I understand why this game might hold a special place for some players. It approaches the Neotare genre with a certain grace and decorum, handling the subject matter thoughtfully. While I know not everyone is keen on this genre, if you enjoy a game with meaningful choices and an engaging narrative, it’s worth giving it a try.

Acceptable 7/10

Sep In View

Well, September has been a bit of a weird one for me. My wife very kindly handed me a paintbrush in the middle of the month, reminding me that our bathroom needs redecorating. This small project soon escalated and took up a lot of time, so I didn’t play as many games as I would have liked.

I did have quite a full folder when I returned from my project, but I won't lie, I found my motivation somewhat lacking, so there were a few games I just couldn’t get into and were abandoned very quickly after playing. I didn’t even play enough for them to get a mention here. I might return to them in future, who knows?

Anyway, September seemed to be quite the average month for Games. We got a fair few releases at the start, but I seem to recall it being a bit of a dry spell towards the end. Or rather, there were no games that interested me. New games also seemed to be lacking this month. Still, I did get through a bit, so let's see what September brought us, shall we?

New Games

Glory of Holly – Well, this one could be interesting, we have a nice little corruption game that is told from the female's perspective, so already we are onto a winner here. The premise has been set in the first chapter alone, so I hope that isn’t a sign of the game's pace, as the story of a girl getting corrupted and introduced into porn is quite the interesting one and wouldn’t be done well rushed. The art here is more or less consistent, though it's not saying much as the poses barely change – though when they do, skin tones and hair does change. This one could be one to watch, but I doubt it will be up there with some of them.

Mina! NTR Phone Story – Man, I said I was done with them, and I honestly don’t know why I downloaded this one at all – anyway, it just seems like a Ren’Py version of Netorase Phone. There are a few differences granted, but a guy who wants to share his girlfriend… check… the girlfriend's hot friend who corrupts check…. The girlfriend's timid friend… check… the girls going out to a bar check… the similarities are there. The names are obviously wrong… not sure how you can tell an NTR story over texts rather than an NTS, but still. Probably pick this as and when, but I am not rushing to get the next one

Hot Property – Wel,l this one was a little silly, but I think it was meant to be, I mean, the premise is set up to be a wacky comedy straight from the start. There’s lewds for lewd sake and a lot of animations that look like they have been done by AI – this one isn’t going to define any genres… this will be one of those games that either works or it doesn’t, but it's hard to tell here.

Neon Vice – This was one of those short debuts that dedicates its chapter to being a nice info dump on the premise of the game. It's not exactly exciting, and the renders are just above average. It ends on a sort of cliffhanger, but if you’ve read the synopsis, you know where this is going. I suspect once it gets going and choices start to shape paths, this might be a good one, though I need a few more updates to be sure.

Journey Rebirth – This one was a bit of a win because it simply wasn’t a 5-minute wonder, though, saying that, despite having a bit of meat on the bones, I still couldn’t tell you what the game is about – I kinda have some ideas and I am interested to see if it goes that way or another. But overall as a nice debut into the market, this wasn’t bad, it's got some interesting girls and some pretty renders. It might be one to watch.

Alice’s Decent – I had to bow out of this one quickly. The renders weren’t the best, but it is the devs' first go, so I can be kind of forgiving for this. The story, however, I found very bland with too many inner monologues. It did nothing to grab me.

A Night With Neighbour – As AI goes, this one is pretty, very pretty, there aren’t many complicated images; instead, our Dev has chosen to go with a nice background with standard models in the same pose for the length of the conversation, though the dev has added some nice changes to the facial expressions – the story however, felt messy. At the game's end, the two characters seemed to be a lot more comfortable with each other, even talking about things about the previous night in a way I didn’t recall happening. It also got a little grindy at the end, which just included me clicking on random choices before I finally had enough points to move on. I wish the dev luck on this one, but I am out for now

In Security – Well, this was a fresh take on the NTS/NTR genre, there was some ideas I really like. I mean, having the guy as the security expert and seeing everything on the computer screen is a really nice take. The underlying narrative of some sort of conspiracy is a nice touch too, as a story is often what these games miss -what will happen when the sharing begins and as to if the hotwifing/cucking/cheating works, remains to be seen. I’ll watch this one for now.

Sinful Horizon – This wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exactly good either, the sort of middle of the road game – the renders here are okay, but there are times our models really stand out from the environments, the story is nothing new to be fair, I’ve seen a lot of what is being told here elsewhere, but its done in an okay manner. Unfortunately, this game's not for me, though. I did start skipping earlier on, and that’s a telltale sign for me that I’m just trying to find something for the game to offer.

My Fendom Boss – This one was an accidental download, to be honest. I don’t usually care for Fendom games, finding them normally a little too extreme for my tastes – though this one could be at least interesting. We do get into the subject very quickly, though. I'd have preferred some seduction or at least “grooming”, but it didn’t do anything to put me off. I won't be rushing to download the next one, but I will at least download when I see it.

Aunts Secret Desire – I don’t think this is actually a new game, just new to f95, but its enough to get it in the New List – it is not exactly earth shattering, barely any plot at all – boy moves in with aunt, boy is attracted to aunt, boy does sex stuff with aunt – throw in a few hot cousins and you have the game – some nice looking renders, but the game is essentially how can we get these two characters to fuck

Updates

The Big Step – Well, this is becoming quite the regular on this monthly list, and this update was a bit wacky and really started to show the game for the kink fest it really is. I’m not quite ready to bow out yet, but I think I am close. While I like the game for essentially not being afraid to hide the fact it's a “wank game”, I think it’ll probably be best played as a completed project rather than in parts.

Wedding Roaming – This was a nice little update and I am glad to see it changed things up on the cheating side and hid things – well, blurred out some of the images giving our MC a little bit of “feeling in the dark” – I cant imagine this one has much to go, but I am excited about where its going to go.

Beginners' Guide to Hotwife – Well, it seems I missed the debut of this one last month, though to be fair, I don’t think I missed much. We have a, at the minute, bare bones NTR/NTS AI game. So far, the only difference between these and the others is the fact its told from the female perspective, which I have said for a long time is the correct perspective for these games. So far, this one does not seem impressive though, the art is sloppy; it’s AI, however, other games have shown a consistency with it, that just makes this look very amateurish. I think the story will be interesting enough, though. I’ll pop back in, but it needs a bit of content to make it worth it.

Layla Shattered Hopes – Well, this got interesting with a nice little path change. We can either go rock bottom whore or leave that world behind – they are two very distinctive routes, though, so I will be interested to see how fast updates come now or the quality of them updates. But the two paths are at least interesting

The Builder – I did think about reviewing this one, but in all honesty, there is nothing that could be said there that couldn’t be said in this little blurb – Story, there tries to be one, but it's ultimately a lewd showcase and full of porn logic. Renders, Average at best, stunning environments though. Characters, essentially all horny, broody women with a different shell. Overall, it's not trying to be anything special, and it shows. Probably one to dip in and out of every now and then.

A Man For All – This was the second attempt at this game. I bowed out at chapter one last time and didn’t get very far into chapter three this time. I ended up UGU’ing, and there wasn’t much in the gallery that made me want to continue on.

Mastering the Pink Box – I had to start this one again, mainly because in my loaded save it was referencing things I couldn’t remember happening – turns out it wasn’t my memory, but the game is coded a little wrong. It doesn’t take anything away from the game anyway, I was just mighty confused. It was a nice little update, well, if you are on a certain path anyway. But it looks like things have been dialled up to 11 on this one. I can't add anything to what I said here, but we shall see if that review changes now that things are happening.

My Bimbo Dream – A strange one this, I can’t help but feel this one is building to something, and I am not sure what. I’m liking the regular updates, but I think the fact that they are so short, more bite-sized things, is why I can't decide if it should be dropped or not – might need to give this one a bit of time to cook

Life Together – So this was a nice little update, but not surprising given how long the debut was back in May – I thought I had two paths at the end of the debut, but I continued them both on this one and they sort of converged so I am not so sure on paths now – I think this ones going to be a fun little family Harem game, but not sure – either way, the suspension of disbelief is already massive on this one – it lost me when the daughter was introduced. The MC's model is just too young to believably have a daughter. I shall give this one a few updates, but I don’t think it's the family harem I am looking for.

A Wife at Stake – I tried with this one, I really did, but it just wasn’t grabbing me. The use of real stock photos just made the less than average renders for the character models stand out even more – I found it very funny that we are supposed to be in Italy, yet there was what looked like a stock photo of Preston Train station and an Avanti West Coast train… Wel,l I guess that ones on me for being from the North West of England – The Dev also likes to do the split screen story telling, showing the scene from two perspectives at the same time. There was just a lot that didn’t gel with me here.

My Goddess - So this was one I accidentality stumbled across in June, and it did nothing to turn me off then, this update was rather short, especially considering we are 4 months after the fact and there are others out there that deliver more in that time frame. In all honesty, it's still one to watch, but if it's going to have short and sweet updates like that, I may need to wait a while between plays

Growing Things Up – I wont lie, this was a short update – very short, overall, it brought nothing to the game other than one scene – I can see it being good for patron numbers, releasing a game every month – but when they are short like this, its just bad.

Long Story Short – So this update has actually been out a while, but it's finally got the Ren’Py update – I could go on about it, but I finally got around to reviewing it here.

Couple Lust Bound – The premise of this one is simple a couple is having problems in bed, enter the friends who are swingers to suggest that opening their marriage is the answer – add in a holiday for four couples and you have a swing fest – the renders are good, a bit above average, the script however needs work, there is a lot of errors, a few times the line appears multiple times. I need a few updates on this before I can decide if it's worth it

Falling Undercover – A nice little update, but it was generally more of the same. I understand this is a proper NTR story and our FMC needs to be stolen, but it feels like it's stalled now. I’d like things to pick up on this one.

Office Perks – Surprisingly, my saves were not busted for this, but it seems I do only have a save for one path now, as my gallery is looking ever so empty. It might be time for a fresh preview on this one. In terms of the game itself, it still feels like nothing is really happening. I mean, we are on day 23 of the gam,e and they’ve only just set up their office. I am getting a little bored with this one now.

Love at First Sight – Seems we have a nice little family harem game that’s not your mother or sisters. Instead, your Aunt and two cousins. There’s not much to this, which is shocking considering its approaching being nearly a year in development. So far, it just seems to have been focused to character introductions and premise set up. The renders are okay, few mistakes here and there. But honestly, I cant comment much as its essentially a 1.5 chapter game. This needs more, and it needs more faster than it's currently getting

The Awakening – I liked this a lot, until I didn’t. Mainly at the point it stopped being the rework and turned back into the older version – not only did it reference things that hadn’t happened, but it put in some silly sandbox style shit – shame really as it started so well – I’m not even sure if the sandbox is getting completely removed or not, but the story doesn’t need it anyway. Probably will be a hard pass on this one.

Urban Heat – Some serious Summertime Saga vibe from this one, which is good to tie me over, seeing as we are not getting that completed anytime soon. In all honesty, though, I checked the change log, and this is now the 5th update we have had since the initial release and while yes, this is a bit more complicated than most AVNs, I feel like the content was lacking. I mean, I blitzed it in an hour

Jason, Coming of Age – I actually thought about doing a review on this one, but despite being a four year old game we are not even out of chapter 1 – I was going to do a first thoughts too, but realised what I wanted to say could be summarised in here- this is an AI fest of a game – there are AI animations everywhere and its not okay – there is a distinct difference in style from the animation and the renders, so when they happen you venture a little far into the uncanny valley. The story is there, thoug,h as I say, chapter one – so we are barely scratching the surface, but the paths in this game are plentiful. The save system does a good job in managing those paths for you, so you shouldn’t miss any content you want to see. There’s a lot of ambition in this project, but at a 4 year dev cycle and looking where we are. I just wonder how log it will take to finish.

A Perfect Marriage – As noted last month, when I played this, I am definitely on the wrong path in this game. My gallery is just becoming more and more filled with locked scenes. As a result, the path I am left on feels a little stagnant and boring, it wasn’t a problem at first, as it was a slow burn kind of game, but we are well past the point of slow burn now. Boring shouldn’t be a factor here.

Between Duty and Love – So I returned to this one after first trying it way back in January – It didn’t exactly wow me back then, so I have never felt the need to go back. My friend Tony recently played this and gave me the impression it had improved somewhat, so I decided to delve back in, and while I will say Tony’s impression was correct, the game still didn’t grab me. I’m more interested in the game now than I was back then, but it's not the sort of game that makes me want to play the update as and when it drops

My True Desire – So we have crossed into chapter 4 and our main characters have only just started discussing the sharing aspects of their relationship – while a slow burn, its not been too slow to become boring. Now that the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, this game can really get going. We shall see where this one goes

University of Problems – Ma,n it's like one step forward and two steps back with this one – for the past few updates it just feels like we are getting nothing but lewds lewds lewds and the story has stalled – it was nice this update actually mentioned the divorce or the massage business – but the other “problems” seem to have been forgotten about. SO much in fact, I think I want to do a full play through on this one next time just to catch up with what is going on.

Blast From the Past

Pine Falls – I decided to go with Pine Falls this month, and I was pleasantly surprised with the start. It seems our dev seemed to be in a bit of a rush to get this game finished and butchered the ending. I would love to know what happened behind the scenes in this one, as I still maintain we were going in a different direction for chapter 2, instead we get an ending that is very underwhelming and somewhat fustrating. You can read my full thoughts here.

The Fappies

Best New Game – There wasn't a whole lot of new games to choose from this month, so I thought it could be a case of this one not deserving of the award, more like being the best of a bad bunch. But when I was looking at my notes, we had Journey: Rebirth, In Security and Neon Vice. They are all worth games to be fair, but just in terms of render quality and the amount of content, I think the nod goes to Journey: Rebirth.

Best Update
– This was one I struggled with - even when looking through my notes, no real game stood out to me, even though my notes were filled with games I have actively been playing - Pink box had its problems, My Bimbo Dream has problems, Office Perks has problems. I think, though, I'd probably give the Nod to Layla: Shattered Hopes. That path splitting is going to make for some interesting and distinctive storytelling.

Best New 2D Game
– There were only 4 to choose from this month, and they were all distinctive. I think the one I am most interested in is Glory of Holly, so that's the one I went with.

Best Updated 2D game – This was a case of being the best of a bad bunch - I was actually thinking I didn't have any game for this category this month until My True Desire dropped, but reading my notes, I was reminded of Nox Falling Undercover. While I can't deny that Nox is indeed a pretty game that is deserving of the award, I went with My True Desire as it felt like it actually moved the story along, whereas Nox was just more of the same

Best Girl in a New Game

Oct New Girl of the month.jpg

Best Girl in an Updated Game
Girl of the Month Oct Update.jpg

Best Girl from Blast from the Past
Grace - Pine Falls.jpg

Worst New Game - This one felt harsh, but if I was honest with myself, I couldn't not award it to Alice's Decent just because it was our dev's first game. History has shown us that devs can come out of the gate with absolutely brilliant first attempts, so as harsh as it seems, it is warranted.

Worst Update - It seems there are quite a few games that are appearing as candidates in this one. When I look back at my notes and think about which ones were bad this month, my mind races to Growing ThingsUp and A Perfect Marriage - both of which have had this nod before - but it was an easy choice to make, and it's for the same reason as last time. Growing Things Up was simply an update of one scene. While I can appreciate the need to put out monthly content, one scene is disappointing.

Family Crush by Wet n' Juicy Games reviewed at Final Version

Story - The story here, well, what story there is, is very basic. Its basic beat will be one you have played before. Boy is no longer able to stay with his father for reasons, is shipped off to stay with some old family friend (who he doesn't know is actually his mother) and her three attractive daughters and fun, sex and frolics thereafter. There is a tiny effort made to ensure that the sex is at least meaningful, but it doesn't really land. The game, at its core, is just a family fuckfest. The writing isn't exactly earth-shattering, but for the most part works - it is not without some problems, though. The game suffers from a major pacing issue, and there are a few times a typo appears in an already uninspiring and unpolished script.

Renders - Probably the highlight of the game, to be fair. Everything is rendered in an above-average way. Our models are all beautiful, though your mileage may vary on which one is your favourite, if any at all - there is only a grand total of 6 women you can choose from and while there is some variation between the models, its not exactly a selection box of choices, bar one character every choice has dark hair, and you seem to be able to choose from big tits or bigger tits. - saying that every character does seem to have a bit of individuality about them, but I would have liked a little more choice. Environments are few and far between; most of the game is self-contained within the MC's house, though there are a few times we venture outside to a beach, hotel or even a burger bar - there are some NPCs where needed but its not exactly a full world - for the most part the gameuses lighting well, even in the scenes that take place at night there is not a brightness issue. The Animations are pretty well done; they are not the greatest you will see, but they are good enough and serve the purpose well.

Characters - This is not a character-driven story at all, and as such, there is no character development at all - there is little hints of it, but given the game's pacing issue I previously mentioned, it falls flat completely - It's a shame really as there is ample opportunity for development, esp with the middle sister, who has no reason to hate you but does on day one, then is ready to jump you on day 2 - there is simply no way to get emotionally attached to any of these characters and you could remove any one of them and nothing would change.

Overall - This game actually feels abandonded, and rushed to give it some conclusion rather than just ending it on a whim - there are a few plot points that seem like they were destined to be used in other ways to what they actually were. The identity of the texter, for example, is a massive wasted opportunity, and the secret of where your dad actually goes seems like it could have been something too - I couldnt help but feel playing this that while our dev knew what kind of story he wanted to tell, he couldnt nail the actual narrative needed to do it and simply started doing things on whim. As Family incest games go, this is never going to be up there with the best of the best. Yes, it has some pretty nice lewd scenes, but they don't make up for what it's lacking elsewhere and the blueballing feeling you get at completion- you may get some enjoyment out of it, but there are better games more deserving of you time I think.

4/10 Below Average

Secrets and Promises by badbod at First Thoughts at version 0.04

I struggled to decide whether or not this one required a full review or not, but decided on just a first thoughts for now. While there have been a number of releases here and we do have a fair bit of content. I don't feel we have even scratched the surface on what is yet to come.

While our story may not be the same standard as a prize-winning novel, perhaps even bordering on or around average in terms of AVN standards, it actually flows very nicely. I'd say that the pace of the game is very mixed. There is a lot of thought put into the individual storylines, with enough breadcrumbs and seeds laid down for future chapters. Some of these seeds flower a little faster than others, and most are really telegraphed, but the narrative does work. There are certain tropes applied here and definate cases of porn logic, but our dev does his best to hide these behind some meaningful and thoughtful dialogue that really helps keep pushing forward and gives a bit of depth to our characters.

The game is by no means the prettiest; the renders are pretty average. There are better out there, but I won't lie and say there are not worse either. What I really like is how average everybody seems to be, not in terms of the quality, but in terms of appearances. We don't have a game full of blonde big boobs bimbos, instead just a wide variety of distinct characters who do not look out of place for the suburban setting we have. It's actually quite refreshing to have natural-looking characters, giving a more realistic tone to what is not a realistic story.

We get quite a fair few characters, and they are thrown at us with some pace. I won't lie and say there is no problem with the characters because there are some that are a little samey, at least in terms of some of the sexual personality. For example, we have a few young characters who want to explore the incestuous sexual desires, a few Milf Characters who have a history with our main character. Putting the "Character traits that are there to tick a kink box" aside, our dev has tried to infuse most of them with lively personalities, and all of our characters seem to have their own motivations, with some having a nice bit of mystery about them that helps drive.

On paper, this is not a game that should work, grading it based on individual things, everything hovers around average. The renders are not great, the story is not the best, and the lewd scenes, for the most part, are somewhat lacking... but I won't lie, there is something about this game and its total is greater than its individual parts. Everything together works. I think, despite its flaws, it unashamedly knows what it is and dives headfirst into that. Ultimately, working for the best and is turning out to be a game that could quite easily fall into my top 10. I am seriously looking forward to where this goes.

Ultimately, working for the best and is turning out to be a game that could quite easily fall into my top 10. I am seriously looking forward to where this goes.

November In View

Where has this year gone? November has been and gone already. Due to a bit of burnout, I was going into this month with a more laidback approach, but I found the releases this month matched my mood anyway; it was not as busy as some of the months have been.

I still had some games in the folder at the end of the month, which has now happened on more than one occasion, so I will need to think about how to approach that little problem in the future. I know full well some games that have been on my radar for a while are getting missed and I fear they might always slip.

Anyway, as I said, November was a bit below average for Games. I only tried 9 New games and 18 updates. I don’t know how this fares compared to the previous months, but 1 game a day seems a little below my personal best. So with that being said, let's see what November brought us, shall we?

New Games

Island Echoes – So think lost with fewer people and more AVN – We only have one in-game day, so not much to judge, saying that we did get a bit of content and a few paths it seems. The renders seem okay, and the story seems interesting enough. I’ll follow this one for a bit.

Angels Guardian – This one wasn’t exactly good, but it wasn’t exactly bad either. I found it just Meh… while the renders, or rather the models, seem passible, there’s something about the renders overall that just seem weird. I can't put my finger on it. There wasn’t really a lot given here, but enough to know what kind of story we are getting. I don’t think there will be anything here, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong. Though I doubt I will.

Not That Stream - Well, that title just tells you what sort of game this is going to be doesn’t it?- We have a little NTS AI game – I don’t think there will be a month that goes by that we don’t get one. This one is a little different in that the kink comes from the woman rather than the guy. Even with the differences, I think the beats will be the same. There are a couple of errors in the text here, esp when it comes to the truth or dare game – the truth question comes up before the Truth or Dare question on a few occasions. The art seems solid, though it's very basic compared with some. I think this could be one to watch though.

Exposed – I was a little disappointed by this one, I won't lie – but to be honest, not shocked, this is brought to us by the same dev as Sorority Temptations, a game I also struggled with at firs,t but later came to like after it had been polished. I have a funny feeling this is going to be the same as the game as presented is lacking a lot of polish. The images are all over the place – sofas changing designs, clutter on the sofa changing, heck even clothing, jewellery and even eye shape. I’m not going to be too bothered if I don’t go back to this; there’s plenty of AI NTS/NTR games out there. But I might check in again sometime in the future to see how it's coming.

Up And Down – Well, that was refreshing, a debut with a bit of substance. It wasn’t without its faults; the auto progression doesn’t work, well, it does, but it's either too fast or painfully slow. You either miss text or spend time waiting for the scene to progress. The translation is a bit dodgy, leaving some not “Engrish” but some questionable phrases. That being said, the story was understandable, the renders were okay, and it was a worthwhile debut. I look forward to more.

Tales of L.O.V.E – This was essentially a 5 minute prologue setting up the history of our main characters in a way that no humans actually talk – there are better ways to express the information trying to be put across here than the way actually chosen. There was also a nice little error in the first couple of lines – is it 15 years or 20 years? Anyway, the end tells us what this game is going to be, and we already have quite a number of this type of game. I’ll be shocked if this stands out from the rest.

Meridia – Quite the solid release – most, if not all, of the game seems very polished. The visuals are, for the most part, stunning, with some nice looking characters and some really nice environments. I can't say much about the story as the game so far only allows one in game day to play, and we seem to be setting up characters and a bit of breadcrumbs to what is to come. Though I got a bit of Harry Potter vibes (though this is intentional, I think) – My only concern is the “sandbox” menu that appears just before the end of the release. I hope it's not a full sandbox, but it might work; time will tell

Unbreakable Love – Another month, another AI NTR game, this one has quite the unique art style compared to most, and while I don’t hate it, it's not exactly ticking boxes for me either. It seems so far different from the other games of this genre, but there are only so many ways to tell this story. This, however, stands out from most thanks to choices, though they seem to just be to lead to how extreme you get cucked. I’ll watch this one.

All Things Change – This was essentially a demo; the dev pretty much says that we have about 45% of the prologue. Even still, there’s a nice bit of content here. Nothing major by any stretch, but enough to whet our appetite. There are hints to where this game is going… our MC has found himself being the director of an all girls university in his home town he has recently returned too with his adopted daughter. How we are going to get there is anybody's guess, but it ends with a nice little cliffhanger to suggest some mystery. I’ll follow this for a little bit

Driftbone - There is a lot about this game I shouldn't like, but I have found myself shying away from both crime games and games with a supernatural element in recent times. But this one here seemed to grab my attention and ran with it. It may have been because it wasnt the standard 5 minute wonder we have gotten far too much of recent times, but a nice way to introduce us to the plot device, narrative and some of our main characters. The renders were pretty too. It's still early days on this one, but it might have potential

Updates

Wedding Roaming – This update was generally more of the same. I’m not sure if we have player hindsight or similar, but on the cheating path, even with the blurred pictures of the wife, I’m fairly confident the husband would be able to put two and two together. While this update doesn’t really stand on its own as an update, it will probably work in the whole game. At this point, we are just awaiting the husband's arrival for things to come crashing down, and I am all for it.

Life in Windvale – So this one has a nice little Redux in the title now, I am all for Dev’s learning and improving the game, esp by going back and retouching old scenes, but this looks like it was a new Exc file as I had no saves. Luckily our dev thought of that and allowed a skip to content button – I’ll be honest, the change in art is a bit jarring, esp in the new scenes in the mansion, our backgrounds are looking a little too realistic and the models are now standing out like a sore thumb, some of them are very inconsistent too, but as games completion it is noted by the dev he is working on this. I think I need to wait a bit before playing this and let our dev catch up and cook a bit.

Glory of Holly – Last months New Game of the Month returns, so I hope that is a sign of things to come – I didn’t have any saves though, and strangely the game autosaves throughout. Anyway, this game is moving fast – depending on the path our FMC has two opportunities to cheat on her partner. It's nothing massive this game, but it seems to be telling an interesting story. I think I’ll need to run two paths on this one, but for now, it's a nice little pallet cleanser.

My Hotwife – Okay, it's been a while since I played this one, so I thought I would jump back into – I was not impressed – this one has drifted so far away from what it originally set out to be. A woman hotwifing to make videos and a bit of money. We seem to have dived quite deep into humiliation, cuckolding and femdom. Won't be back to this one for a while if at all.

Life Together – Man what a short update, seems to give us two different paths, but still can be blitzed in 10 minutes. Disappointing.

Heated Hashtag – Needs a review, I think I’ll give this one next time I play. Overall, this is a below-average game, though. There are a lot of errors in the AI images. Our dev does seem to be getting better – it doesn’t look like there has been any post work touch up at all. I mean, one character seems to have different earrings from one scene to the next. This one is never going to be up there in some of the games we are getting in this style, but it is charming in its own little way.

My Bimbo Dream – So this is becoming a right little regular on this monthly update – but as I mentioned last time, the updates are a little short. I like how finally actions/choices are now having consequences, so my feeling from last month that we are building to something seems to be right, but given how short the updates are, it is a little frustrating.

Beyond Tomorrow – So this was a nice little Gem I first discovered back in May, though for some reason I didn’t have any saves and I required a full play through, I wasn’t too bothered about that as it's such a pretty game. I can't add anything to what I said way back in May, and continue to think it's one to watch

With Eyes closed – A game that got my nod for best update back in May, only then to go on and get the nod for worst update in August. I have to say this month isn’t much better. We did get a bit of tension here, and what looks like a major choice. It seems in trying to build up some tension here, the actual main story has stalled. I said it was a shame last time, but I genuinely believe we are just at a weird point in the story where individual episodes don’t work as a single, but will work when added to the whole piece. I might have to wait for a few drops on this one

Strong Desire – So I last played this in September, and it didn’t score well in my review. I honestly wasn’t going to pick this up again, but I did feel like things were picking up a little where I last ended my play through… Well, this update certainly hasn’t made me want to change my score at all, its just more of the same, a bit of breadcrumb sprinkling for the thinly veiled story while getting our MC into situations with various woman. As with the previously mentioned game, this probably needs a few updates before it gets anywhere

CCTV Secrets: My Wife Is A Model – I don’t want to be too harsh on this, because it is essentially a project where our dev is getting used to Ren’Py, Daz and the likes to gain experience in building games, and while the amateurishness of this does show a little, it's not a bad effort. The renders look a little flat in places, improving somewhat in version 0.2. The story isn’t the most original out there, but we have got a somewhat nice way of telling it. It would be better to tell it from the FMC's POV rather than having the CCTV plot device, but never mind. It's not one I want to drop back into anytime soon, but I’ll have a look after a bit.

The East Block – Well in my last review I mentioned this game was at a bit of a turning point and things needed to happen, I am glad to see that things did happen here and we have definitely reached that turning point that will make or break this game – its just a shame that that turning point only makes sense on one of the paths and on the remaining ones makes no sense what so ever – seriously the amount of options this game gives us, we should be locked out from some choices now and getting things “forced” through consequence rather than just giving us it all to shoehorn in a scene. Our dev has also found a new toy with AI and has littered the game with AI animation that are quite unsettling. It’s quite off-putting to be honest, and some of them show just how average the game's renders are.

Whispers of Desire – So I came back to this one having some time off from it, and I am glad I did. I wont lie, it is not without its problems, I am looking at you world map! Seriously, why the game is presenting as a sandbox, while not actually being a sandbox boggles me. Anyway, this has turned out to be a nice little slow burn game into the NTR/NTS genre. its nice that your actions seem to push you naturally into a certain route, thanks to corruption from outside sources. I still think there’s certain games that handle this subject a little better, but now there is a bit to this, I was pleasantly surprised.

Secrets and Promises - This is an absolute diamond. On paper, this game should not be as good as it is, yet here we game that if it stays its course will deservedly find a place in my top 10. You can read more about my thoughts here.

Moonlight – April's New Game of the Month returns with a bang – I do like these games that provide meaty updates, and we got a few paths to play. The game remains stunning, and the plot moves forward without actually answering any questions. While I can really say much about the game at the moment, I am at least interested enough to want the next chapter

Formula Zero – Well, this was a nice game – early days for it, but that was very promising. The writing is on point, lots of technical and foreign language with a nice little hover feature giving us definitions to ensure we don’t get lost – the renders are really good, with lots of nice LI’s to keep most, if not al,l interested. Lots of animations showing off racing, but the lewds are non-existent. We do get a nice tease of boobs and the likes every now and then, but nothing major. This feels like a solid game with massive potential. I look forward to seeing where this one goes

Neon Vice – So I did play this last month when it first dropped, and said it needed more time. I picked this up on a whim and am pleased to say my original thoughts were correct, while it was a nice meaty update resolving the previous cliffhanger well, there is still nothing to the story. The renders continue to remain average, and the lack of animations in the lewd scenes just gives them a click-fest feel. The really does need more time and a bit of polish

Falling Undercover: Nox Sydicate - I can't really add anything to what I said in my review way back in September. Similar to the dev's last game, this is very much a slow-burning NTR corruption story. We are well into it now, but I am getting sick of our FMC's moaning and defiance now. She's clearly into the guy, but the fighting just seems like an unnecessary way to draw out the story

Blast From the Past

Family Crush - I have been after a nice family harem game for some time, so it was a nice surprise to come across this in the completed games list - that surprise soon turned into disapointment. As I said in my review here, the game not only feels rushed throughout but the sudden ending when things were picking up makes it feel abandonded. Disappointing is not the word.

The Fappies

Best New Game – Considering I only played 9 new games this month, I thought this month would be one where one game stood out among the rest. But as I looked through my notes, I found that Island Echoes, Meridia, All Things Change and Driftbone were all worthy contenders. All of them have a little something about them and are great in their own way, but I think in terms of potential All Things Change has the others beat.

Best Update – This was an absolute easy one - there was simply no way I could not give it Secrets & Promises. As I said in my review and to a friend of mine, for a game that is made up of just average parts, it's amazing how well that game is put together and working

Best New 2D Game – Well, there weren't that many; it could have been this month, given I only played three of them. I didn't even need to check my notes, really. When thinking back, the only game I could remember was Not That Stream

Best Updated 2D game –
This one was a little more difficult than the previous category. We had Life in Windvale, Glory of Holly, Heated Hashtag and Falling Undecover. None of which really stood out at me, they all had there flaws in some way. But I have to give it to one, and the one that stood out to me most was Falling Undercover

Best Girl in a New Game

Vanessa - Family Crush.jpg

Worse New Game – Easy one this, when compared to the other releases this month, one stood out as just being poor. Tales of L.O.V.E does nothing to stand itself out from the countelss other games in the sub-genre, nor does it give us meaty content like many of the other new releases do.

Worst Update – This was a difficult one; there were some updates that were effectively a patron cash grab or brought nothing to the narrative, and I have given games of similar calibre the award before. However, one game stood out for all the wrong reasons this Month, and it was The East Block. There were some questionable decisions made by our dev this time. Putting the dodgy AI aside, that ending should not have happened.

Who are you liking from Formula Zero? I was slightly saddened to see no nod for Emma in the fappies there!

I'm actually liking Emma - Though we haven't seen her as much as I would have liked, and for some reason I didnt have her in my folder of contenders. That happens sometimes when the games that enjoyable. I'd have gone back if I hadn't played so late in the month. She was never beating Sarah, though. So maybe a good thing she got missed, she'll have a better chance next time.

Breeze of Passion by L7team reviewed at 9.01 Extra

Story - The story begins with a promising premise - a young, troubled lad is taken from his luxurious life to be taught a lesson about life by being tasked with saving a troubled hotel. Although it soon goes downhill after that, ending up very messy, shallow and very boring, which ultimately equates to a weak narrative. While it is not exactly plagued with typos and grammatical errors, it does seem to suffer from a poor translation, which doesn't help the case overall. Add to that the fact that this is a kinetic novel, hiding behind an unnecessary sandbox to create the illusion of choice, and it leaves you with a very underwhelming experience, with many missed opportunities.

Renders - For the most part, our renders are nice and polished, while most of the girls seem to be average women rather than the supermodels some games often feature. They do have a bit of attractiveness about them. I especially like the ever-changing facial expressions and the fact that the characters blink, which adds a bit of realism to the game. The girls are all unique in their own way, sporting chests of different sizes and a variety of hairstyles. There are a couple of girls who fall on the bustier side, and we do get a bit of the clothing warp. Unfortunately, the game has decided against giving us a face for the main character, which often results in some funny poses as we try to hide his face. Sometimes it works, but the majority of the time it does not. There is also a lack of variation in clothing, bar when the story needs it, e.g for a beach scene or a shopping trip, the character will often be wearing the same things, which isn't a big thing, still considering the renders are where the quality went into this game, I expected better.

The environments are quite varied; the game is quite self-contained within limited settings, such as the hotel, home or beach. Every single one feels empty. For example, the hotel generates an income from its users, but we never see anybody there outside of the characters important to the story. For a town that thrives on tourism, it doesn't half feel empty. While I didn't find it off-putting per se, I was yearning for more.

The game really shines in its animations; they are not janky at all and have a nice length to them. The extra angles and various speed options are a really nice touch that adds a bit of variety, making the lewd scenes a better experience than the click fest you get with some games.

Characters - There does seem to have been at least some effort made into giving some of the characters a little depth, but it's not massive by any means, and given the game's poor narrative, they don't quite feel as fleshed out as they could or should be. The game seems to force LI's on you, like nobody's business, and some really do start as unlikeable, which, thanks to the lack of growth, they never get to the redeemed stage and feel earned. Every relationship feels forced.

Overall - I went through this game with endless. I gave up counting the number of times I spotted missed opportunities, a chance for it to deliver something magical and less boring. I couldn't work out why the sandbox element was needed in the game, as I still can't tell you what it adds, other than some dialogue that pops up before a quest has begun. While it wouldn't solve the problem of the poor narrative, the game would work so much better as a kinetic novel and really help with the pacing. I'd say this was a fap game, but while the lewds are hot, 90% of them are actually quite tame and vanilla. If you are a fan of nice-looking lewd scenes, this game and a gallery unlocker might be for you, but the high-quality lewd scenes can not make up for the shortfalls elsewhere. I think the dev dropped the ball on this one; it could have been and deserved to be so much more.

Time Heals by Owl’s First Thoughts at Chapter 1 - Part 2

The plot on this leaves a little to be desired; it seems to be a nice little slow burn with elements of things we have seen before, Crime/Mobland/Street Racing, with the potential of throwing in college too. Add a bit of Step Family Drama into the mix, and you've definitely have aspects of things you will have seen before and will no doubt see again, but I found the writing actually quite solid, even if the narrative seems a little basic - though I am willing to give that the benefit of the doubt, given our dev does seem to be juggling a lot of genres at the moment and its deffinetley not in a rush to land anything yet.

The visuals themselves are beautiful, even from the title screen, you know this one's not your usual Ren'Py game - we have been introduced to quite a fair few characters, considering we are still only at chapter 1, from two Step Sisters, a Step Mom, an Aunt, The daughter of your coach and a few more. They are all stunning, but not in an over-the-top way. I think care has been taken to ensure that there is a girl who ticks everyone's fancy, and one doesn't stand out above the rest. So far we have had limited environments, ranging from two different homes, a shop, a garage and a school. They do seem to be rendered with some care, though there are times the lighting is off as the dec tries to give a little ambience to the scene, for the most part, it does work, but there are times the scene is a little dark.

The game has thrown characters at you at some pace, and in an unusual thing, it didn't give us a nice summary of who is who; instead, it just jumps straight into the narrative. It is by no means damaging and actually works for the most part - so far, the characters we have seen are not carbon copies of each other and have distinct personalities. Though those personalities have yet to be defined and explored, we have at least been given some breadcrumbs to show that character depth and exploration will be important to the plot.

I won't lie, I am slightly worried about this one - if you'd have just picked this without looking at it, you'd be perhaps forgiven for thinking this is only a 6-12 month old game, but we have just crossed the 2 year mark and still have practically nothing with the render count not really reflecting the development time. Don't get me wrong, I can see the potential here, and I do consider it a nice Gem in the making - the story seems interesting enough, the characters at least seem multi-dimensional, and the presentation on top all scream quality - But the game will struggle with these dev times. This is definitely one to watch, and I hope it's one that will continue to impress going forward, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gains the abandonded tag in future

December In View

And with that, the 2025 season of AVNs comes to an end. When I first set out doing this at the start of last year, it was a way for me to combat my ever-growing “to play” list. While I have actually enjoyed playing like this, it has introduced me to some games I wouldn’t even have noticed. December and a couple of other months have told me I really need to change, or rather, tweak the way I do things.

December, for example, given the Holidays, was actually quite the busy month and with my household suffering from illness for a period of two weeks, the folder was actually left with 11 games in it, with 5 more in the download folder awaiting extraction.

Going forward I’ve decided to keep a backup folder, for those months that are a little quieter – obviously I cant keep adding to it forever, so it will only have a set number of games in it and older ones will be lost to newer ones, but I am hoping a few less games get lost this way – it’ll also handle the problem I faced when big updates drop on the last day of the month.

Anyway, as I said, due to varying factors, December wasn’t as busy as other months, still a bit of games, but no where near what we are used too. But let's see what f95 brought us to end the year.

New Games

Our Quiet Temptation – Right, so it seems I am becoming quite fond of these AI games, as it doesn’t seem like a month goes by without me picking one up. This one was an absolute solid start, though, based on that cliffhanger and what we got, we could make a few educated guesses. For now, though, we got a nice introduction to our characters, A nice flirtatious daring girl, a big dicked male who gets little “alpha”, A MILF Neighbour. The stage is set. The art here is great, I’d say it's been touched up in Photoshop, as everything seems on point, there are always 5 fingers, hairstyles remain constant, clothing does too. I’m interested to see where this one goes.

Cursed Pleasure – So this isn’t bad, but it is not really good either. I’m going to give our dev the benefit of the doubt here, because the Dev is a beginner. But the plot is one of them wank fest games, our MC is an absolute shithead, who has decided to take his whole family as his own. To be fair, the whole family seems to be shitheads, so it’s one of them. The renders aren’t exactly earth shattering, but they are the right side of average and the AI animation all though obvious, is not as obvious as some are these games. I can already tell this one's not for me. I may pop back in later, just to see the lewds, but for now, it's a pass

Milfheim: The Twisted – Well, this was a nice, pretty debut. We don’t get a lot, but we get enough. An orphan of an MC returns to his hometown during a break from Uni and begins a journey to discover some truths about not only him it seems, but others around him. It's not an entirely new concept, but it is not one that is done a lot either. I won't lie, it seems to be a slow start, and there were a few times I was zoned out of the game, not sure if that was just my mood or the flow of the game itself. I’ll pop back into this if I have the time, but until it gets a few updates behind it, I don’t think it's one I will rush to.

Cases – Well if you ever watched that TV show Suits you know this game already – Honestly practically the same as the first episode from the law school drop out failing a drug drop in a hotel, hiding in an interview, impressing the boss with his memory, etc etc – this will obviously and hopefully deviate a bit from suits, it has too given its an AVN, but for now its not very original – I’ll give it the time of the day, as I actually enjoy the source material, but I wouldn’t be shocked if I dropped this fast.

Irys – This was one of those debuts that is hard to gauge. Not coming out bad or good, despite the renders feeling a bit flat, I would say some are on the right side of average. The story, however, doesn’t seem original… we seem to be walking the “shady company” side of things – it was relatively short and had to “force” a lewd. This might go somewhere, but I am undecided on it myself

Secrets Between Lines – So this is from the dev that brought us Tangled bonds – a game I didn’t rate to highly back in February. This one doesn’t seem bad, but I can't tell you if it seems good either. While there is a bit in this one chapter release, we are only getting the bare bones and hints of a story, the renders do seem okay, though, and the story does seem interesting enough. For now, I will stick with it, but I am not expecting greatness.

Operation Rio: Blood Trails – I honestly don’t know what to say about this game. I am struggling to even justify its existence. It is a sequel to a game I have not played, Life in Rio. Checking that games thread, it doesn’t even have the completed status, so why this has dropped is beyond me – anyway, this is nothing special. It might be, but it's hard to tell with the content we got, while not exactly a five-minute wonder. You could knock this one out in about 20 minutes. The writing is okay, considering English is not our devs' first language, the renders are all right, our MC suffers from the curse of being too busty, so her clothes don’t hang right. But its got those annoying AI animations devs are becoming such a fan of using. I’ll be passing on this game until I at least play Life in Rio I think

Finding Mia – Well, I would say on the surface, this seems like your typical Family Harem game. You have the Mom, one sister who seems shy and overly close to you and the other sister who looks like she hates you – I guess it's a formula that has been proven to work… There is a bit of mystery element added here and maybe some supernatural thing, but the release didn’t give too much away… Its not a bad release by any stretch, but its not good either… somewhere in the middle, some of the renders need work, and the script could really do with a proof reader. This one could go either way.

Updates

Price of Desire – So this was actually one I had forgotten about, not in terms of the narrative… that soon came back to me, I just had forgotten I had played it. The fact that it did come back to me at least tells me its just I’m playing too many games and not that it didn’t leave a lasting impression. This was a slightly weird update, though, in terms of story, it brought us to what could be considered a nice turning point, though it is given as a choice, so I am interested to see how that plays out. Considering I have said before that there are a lot of the genre of NTR/NTS games out there I like how this one is a little different. Time will tell if this capitalises.

Laylas Shattered Hope – Okay, so the split in story here has result in two very distinctive storylines, however the dev time needed to manage two very distinctive narratives is obviously showing. While, yes, overall the content remains constant with what we have got before, the two paths are considerably shorter than what we have gotten before. One path also lacked some lewds, while the other was a bit more open with them. I think this game is now at a turning point, and I am interested to see if both of our paths get the attention they deserve or if one or the other is the way to go. Time will tell on this one.

Wedding Roaming – Well, I think we are coming to an end on this one. Our MC sounds like he is arriving next update. Luckily, the narrative has given us a nice way to keep the couple apart (if needed) and also our bull's phone has been damaged, so we can't look at that anymore (we do get an option as players to look at his new one), but going into the next update, our MC is really blind. The setup is quite good here, and given our devs' last game, I think the landing will be stuck. Time will tell though.

Fiction Paradox – So this was a weird one that showed up way back in May, and I couldn’t tell you anything about it then, now? Well it seems that we are going for a dystopian future with one man trying to save the world, or at least himself. I still cant work out from that as to if it will be good or not, but I feel more confident going on with this when I first played that choose your preferences demo. I’ll pick this up again.

Blairewood – So I won't hold up much hope for this one at all. Seems this one has been in development hell for sometime and we didn’t even get all of what the dev wanted to do, leaving us yearning for another part to come in Late Dec/Early Jan – I mean, from Oct 2021 to Dec 2025 to remake half a prologue, I just can't see this one going anywhere. I can't even be sure if time will tell on this, as that prologue didn’t tell us anything, hopefully part B will, but for now, all I can say is it's a very pretty game that has a history that doesn’t give me hope we will get regular updates at all

Welcome to Port Heaven – This felt like a real step backwards compared to what we got in July – the art is no longer consistent, I noticed the stripper's hair, changing shades and styles and a female character's underwear changing throughout scenes, there was also a problem with shading. Added to the fact that these updates are just too short for the period we wait (granted, I am only playing one route, but still), there are better AI games than this out there, and this one really is struggling to keep up now.

The Big Step – I think its actually time to drop this one now, I wont lie its been a fun little jaunt, but its not exactly going anywhere. It just seems to be more of how we can get our FMC into more pervy situations rather than progression. I still think there might be something here… I just want it to move forward rather than be in this horny, stalled state it seems to be in

Hot Prospect – This was terrible, and given the recent information in the Dev Log, it’s not going to get any better at all. First things first, it looks terrible. The dev has chosen some quite average models, which, when rendered in the quality, they are just do not look good at all. There are times they are very flat, other times they look incredibly fuzzy, and the lack of any texture just makes them look weird a lot of the time. It felt like I was looking at them through dirty spectacles or something.. The UI needs some looking at too – its extremely amateurish, and when you get to the end of a day, it makes an already daunting task, the sandbox sand building, more tedious than it should be. The narrative seems to be that of a basic corruption story, but it's less than inspiring, and when added with the previously mentioned sandbox skill system – that by the way, seems very unbalanced and doesn’t scale right just makes the whole experience a chore.

In Security – So a contender for Octobers Game of the Month returns with an update of decent length, while I’ve seen longer, I have seen shorter too. This update was just dedicated to getting our couple used to the kinks they are about to explore and the much-needed talk there after. It may have come across a little fast, but it always does, these stories have to be told after all. It’s no different from a lot of the NTR games out there. Now that the cat is out of the bag, this will probably run, and the quality will show. We shall see what happens with this turning point.

Hard to Love – So I last played this in July and came out of it a little confused, suggesting I needed a full play through of this, which is what I did this time and I have to say, I think my review from way back when needs updating. This game really seems to be coming into its own now it's gotten into Act 2. The premise is coming out – the story telling still needs a bit of improvement as it is a bit jarring and jumpy in places, but other than that it is okay, definitely not up there with the best of the best. Still, it no longer deserves the 4 I gave it a while back, will have to re-look at this once we get a bit more of act 2.

Time Heels – This was one that had been on my radar for a while, but I never got around to it for one reason or another. Anyway, you’re probably best off reading my first thoughts here.

Heven’s Door – Well, this game seems to be some pathing now – and it also seems to be ramping up a lot. It was a nice little update. I felt it was just a general filler episode until the end, but those ending scenes were enough to tell me that, despite feeling like filler, we did move the story on a lot. There was an issue with one of the renders in this update, though, honestly quite shocking really and I expect better from this dev, it doesn’t take away from what a good game this is, but it was worth mentioning.

Law School - So we are now into a new season and there are changes afoot – we are no longer dealing with the building of a personality, but instead now building relationships with the set girls available to us on that personality path – It’s a little disappointing really to go right back to square one with the girls, esp when you have one sneaking into your room right at the start. But other than that, I cant really fault the update, 6 lewds spread across all 3 paths means multiple play throughs are a must – the season 1 cliffhanger hasn’t been resolved and is still dangling with a few more questions asked this time. Really coming into its own now this one.

Siren Song – So I got dating my daughter vibes from this game, which was weird because despite the similar premise (a daughter and father getting nasty) they are executed in a different way, where as DMD seems to be a build up, this one jumps straight into it, we are already 3 chapters in and the deed is done, yes I get its an AVN and we cant go too slow, but the act doesn’t feel earned at all. The game is pretty enough, but the story (the daughter and father travelling for music shows) seems a bit weak. I don’t know if now that the core characters have opened that door, there will be enough to go on. I’ll pick it up again, but I’m not holding up much hope

Secrets and Promises – This is a GEM. I don’t know how many other ways I can say that. It's simply fantastic – yes, it may not be the prettiest game, Heck it may not even have the tightest or neatest story, but my god, this all comes together in greatness. Love it.

My Bimbo Dream – Well, it looks like we have finally got pathing here, and the consequences of not using your Season 1 saves come to light – while it's nice, I guess, to give us the shortcut to choose a path with our girls, it doesn’t feel earned, and my season 1 play through now feels wasted. The story definitely seems to be turning into something I usually shy away from. But the handling of the Moms feelings as she accepts and embraces the bimbo life, well, on the path I am playing, I think its done well… This is a game that’s still on the edge of being dropped, but the most recent update at least told me they can step back from the edge. We shall see if the GAME nose dives or saves itself.

Blast From the Past

So this little feature hasn’t brought me as many gems as I would have liked. So far, the 11 games I have tried so far have a nice average score of 4.72 so just wrong side of 5. You can read all about what I thought about Breeze of Passion here. Though the game did not do much to move that average score at all. Next year I’ll be doing something a little different, though there will still be some trips through dirt, I think, but hopefully it won't be as demoralising.

The Fappies

So I have been liking these fun little awards, but I unfortunately do not think they are working, the “girl of the month” folders have been full of images and it has often been hard to knock them down to three, and there has been multiple months I really struggled to even pick a game that even deserve “best game of the month” the “worst game” generally hasn’t been a problem – but similar to how I mentioned in the update, I am going to have to look at the way I do these, but just to bring the year out, we can do one more

Best New Game – here we have sort of proof of what I was just discussing, when you look at what I said about the 8 new games this month, none of them really stand out, with a lot of them being described as “not bad but not good” None of them show greatness like say “My Husbands Boss” or “Heaven’s Door” did – still to end the year we have to pick something, when writing this up and checking my notes two games actually stood out. Secrets Between Lines and Finding Mia, I think on the surface though, Secrets Between Lines was the better production and deserved the nod

Best Update – This one was a little more easy given the amount of updates, but still had a bit of difficultly, there were so many that could have got this one, but not for reasons of being a good production or anything like that. Mainly just because it was great for various reasons in my opinion, Wedding roaming, for example, isn’t the most flashy game, but it is and has been up there constantly pushing out great updates. Time Heals and Hard to Love both have absolutely great production values and a good story, but in terms of story, it could be argued that they are lacking. The award this month though goes to Law School. While I will admit, there were some choices by the developer in this new season that I would argue are very questionable, I can't deny it was a massive update, full of great renders, story and replay value

Best New 2D Game – Well, this one wasn’t hard, was it? I only played one, and this is what I mean when I said I need to change it up – winning by default seems wrong. Never the less Our Quiet Temptation was good, but it wasn’t going up against anything.

Best Updated 2D game – Like the above, this one is another win by default, but this time I’d question if Welcome to Port Heaven actually deserved it, especially given I said it felt like it was a step backwards. I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, though, as it does have multiple paths, and I am only really playing the one that interests me.

Cathy - Breeze of Passion_Final.jpg

Worse New Game – Okay, this is when the awards get unfair, this month, for example, there wasn’t a game that was truly bad for the right reasons, for example, having missing images, syntax errors or typos. It was genuinely a case of being the worst of the bunch. And while I thought his one would be the easiest with my mind going straight to the “suits” rip off cases, but when checking my notes I suddenly remembered Cursed Pleasure. While I wouldn’t say it's bad for the right reason I mentioned, it definitely has its faults, and if your game slips from my memory, well, that’s telling to me

Worst Update – This one was easy - in terms of the standards we can measure games with, this one fails on quite a lot. Renders Poor, Dialogue Poor, Sandbox elements poor. Hot Prospect is not a good game by any measurable standards
