Thank you for all your comment, gentlemen. I knew a switch to ai-generated art will be met with some backlash, so I am not surprised some of you are disappointed. However, I do intend to continue with this kind of art in the future. To put it bluntly, it's just more pleasing to me. I happen to be that one guy who doesn't really notice additional fingers and similar quirks. I have planned this switch for a long time and while I am not 100 percent happy with the result, I did learn a few lessons that should help me with future projects.
I doubt Lamashtu will get a major update, unless I find a decent way to make suitable animations. My development cycles heavily depend on my holidays, and I prefer to spend them writing new scenarios instead of revising old stuff.
Enjoyed this one, as always.
I'm not particularly fussed about the use of AI, if anything, as the technology evolves it will only make the product better. I can already see how it's facilitated more CGs and the increased flexibility within them. For example, I appreciated the scene with Bianca's blue lipstick smeared over MC's cock.
In the meantime, although it may be somewhat cumbersome, I think it'd be good if you (or a volunteer, of which I'm sure many would offer), would do a QC check on the random quirks that A.I might generate. I assume it's not that difficult to utilise the same prompt to eventually generate an output that doesn't have six fingers.
Another poster mentioned this already, but there are other A.I related issues which always tend to show themselves in VNs. For example, skin colour changing, facial structure changing etc. This is not as noticeable when switching between different poses, but when it's the same scene/pose, the human eye will notice automatically. It could be worthwhile to look into tools like Clip Studio/Photoshop and then using a mixture of A.I generation with layers. This should alleviate a lot of issues around the A.I looking unnatural in some CGs.
Understandably, this would take extra time to push out. In my opinion, considering the quality of the story being put out there, putting in the extra mile to ensure the quality of the visuals match the story's would be very much appreciated by all. In any case, keep doing what you're doing, looking forward to your next work!
