from what I could gather in another forum it seems like the issue is probably from my end, my graphics card stuff cant be updated since its an old all in one pc that makes it impossible to use it if I try to, so, until I get a new one then im afraid I wont be able to enjoy this and other few novels properly, still, best of luck dev! and hope to return to this in the future when I do get a good pc

Yes very good game idea, but scenes are ruined when it’s just black the entire time

Thank you! I understand it but don't have time to draw art for every scene. I'm trying to figure things to replace blackscreens with in the future updates^^

IMO you shouldn't bother with art all that much. What if you decide to change the story later on and suddenly you have to redraw art to fit it? Better continue the story further ahead without being burdened by art, you can get the art right when the story has already ossified and there is no risk of having to change it.

or, hear me out, make sure you have your story set in stone already so theres no need to ever change any of the art?? "you shouldnt bother with art all that much" is a horrible take to have about a VISUAL novel

A VISUAL novel in progress. Also, from what I see, the developer takes feedback from the players so what if he decides to add something? Or someone discovers a glaring plot hole? Like, why aren't all the people carrying a tiny knife in their boot to cut themselves outside of pred stomaches, given their propensity to be eaten?

Thats really weird. I have a refurbished HP PC from 2010 that I keep for niche uses. There are issues with 3D games cause they need OpenGL4+ and that PC only supports OpenGL 3 at most, but Renpy only needs OpenGL2 and most PCs supported it since 2005. Its gotta be a REALLY old PC if it can't run even Renpy. Also I like how PCs can run for decades and people dont feel like upgrading, but phones they need to upgrade every 2-3 years at most.
