well, some threads with animations have Pixeldrain links with just the videos and no zip files, so that way you can view it like a rule34 site.
As for how it could've been made better, if you just somehow told us what the zip fails have inside them, that would make it better. Like, say which series or character it contains. You could've said it after the year, or in a different post too.
Or instead of separating them by year, you could've down it by series, all KanColle in one folder, all Blue Archive in another etc.
Or just like how the 2021 and 2022 Pixeldrain zip files have the option to check what's inside and download something specific from them instead of just the whole thing, why isn't that an option with the others? "Update 1" has it, but it's all in Japanese, so I still have no idea what's in it.

The reason for being zip that's not visible that the single large file that was shared on the request thread, that's about 16 + GB was split into 04 parts. Being there are two over 25GB + I was sorting those files, and need to upload them again. Which takes time.

When creating links to archives. If it's large, it's not an option to divide them on categories by character or series but in years. That's how in general collection are segregated. And you'll choose the file if I mention the file name? You want to view the animation before downloading, the size it too large. These are all personal preferences and nothing wrong with the collection being it contains the files relevant to the artist and the thread is accurate on the the information.

What do you mean if it's in a zip file? I said that they're NOT in a zip file.

I don't know if I'm missing something, but I still don't understand why those aren't visible, when some others are.
And I'm aware that's how they're generally segregated, but it was just a suggestion on how to organize it better and for us to know what's in it. I don't want to view before downloading, I just want to know what's in the 4gb zip file before I download it. It is a personal preference, but I don't think there's anything weird about that. My phone doesn't have a lot of storage and my internet sucks, so I would rather not spend time and storage on 4gb of something if I don't even know what's in it. Downloading with Pixeldrain is pretty fast, but the limit is 5gb, so I wouldn't even be close to downloading everything with it.

What I'm saying is that, it's a rule to be on zip files and if it's on a zip. You cannot view it. If a thread is created like that, it's not going to be approved.

There's nothing weird about it and I get what you are saying, but unfortunately it's not possible to add a viewable link to the OP Wall. If you weren't on the request thread. Check the links on this post for Lapin Gris 2024 they are viewable.

You just keep asking the same question and changing the subject from viewing to exploring and file name and size. And I'm repeating the answer. its okay to give constructive feedback but its not okay to be rude, especially when everyone does this for FREE and very likely you are just consuming without contributing anything, so either deal with it or search for another source, if you dont like it

if a preview is not possible, you could kindly ask them to add some more info on the OP, e.g. "This pack includes X characters from 2024" or something like that

how was I being rude??? And I literally already did what you said, the guy just ignored me and gave some explanation for why I can't see what's in the sets which I still can't understand. Like, what does him having to split the zip file into 4 parts have to do with anything? I didn't understand what he meant, so I asked again, I don't see how I was being rude.

Edit: I checked the OP again, and now it is possible to see what's inside the 2024 zip files. So, he did end up changing it, but from some reason still got mad at me for asking why that isn't an option? I'm so confused...

The filesize is calculated "differently" by some hosters.
i.e. kilo- vs. kibi-, mega- vs. mebi- and so on.
"MB" should be Megabyte, "MiB" is the right abbr for Mebibyte, but in many place people just use "MB" for Mebibyte.

So I saw this post after some time and I can roughly get what the other guy wants.

What he means is, let's take the 2020 batch for example. With this batch, using Pixeldrain, you can see what are the contents inside the compressed file.

But when you look at another batch, like 2023(?), Pixeldrain only tells you it's a compressed file without telling you what's inside.

I guess the matter's already fixed though, but yeah. Hope the clarification helps.
