To me this is a similar topic to when there are clones/copies/"whatever you want to call it" around and doing stuff. While sharing knowledge/sensation/whatever or not. To me those are different entities if they exist at the same time. Therefore LH and Serenity MC are not the same entitiy to me as they exist at the same time in different universes (and could even meet as Rin demonstrated dimensional travel). While I'm playing Serenity I "am" that MC and if the LH MC would appear he would be a different entitiy (to me as the MC) and vice versa.
Maybe I am just too smooth brained for multiverse shenanigans.

Hehe... good points all. But it's really not worth discussing here anyway since there are no plans for Rin and LH MC to 'hook up'. Rin is just going through something... She will have those feelings for a bit and 'test' him in some scenes probably. But mostly, this is just how she will act towards him. Eventually, Rin will see him as someone she can talk to and open up to, enough that they become more like bff's. She'll begin to see him in a different light than she does with Serenity MC. The MC of this game and the MC of Serenity are literally different characters. They have different experiences, memories, lives, and consciousnesses. That fact is even acknowledged by the Serenity MC in this very game. That is why it objectively would be NTR, and the fact that Rin comes onto LH MC is not really any better than NTR even if it technically isn't (emotionally cheating is still cheating). You already removed Lili from Last Human for this exact reason, now you want to pull this shit with Rin, for literally no benefit. All this does is make Rin a hoe who wants to cheat on Serenity MC. Oh, but it's supposed to be okay because you forced "us" (since you are saying that the player is both MCs) to say that he's okay with it. Man, go back and READ. MC and Rin will NOT be hooking up. Lili was never in Last Human and won't be, so I don't know what the hell you're talking about. And I am not forcing anyone to do anything. I am 900% NOT putting anything anyone MIGHT consider NTR in my games because I don't want NTR in my games. My opinion stated in my post that you quoted was simply that, an opinion. It was NOT a declaration that this will happen in either game.

These kind of reactions shouldn't surprise you all things considered. Getting defensive and pissy about it is a bad look though. I assume at this point that a portion of people are assuming that you will be using your first game to fluff up your oppai odyssey knock off. Which they are your games so you are free to do so if that is the road you wish to take but I imagine most people wouldn't love it. After all talk of moving characters over from sty to lh and then what mc1 said to mc2 at the end of the update I can understand why people think it is going to happen that way.

N2TheFire is friends with the Dev's of Oppai Odyssey.
If you were on discord talking to Cryoxxx, you would already know this.
If you looked on the games like, Last Human, Serenity, A house in the Rift, Oppai Odyssey, and other's, you would see that they support each other because the Dev's are friends.
I'm not giving out more dev names, If you want to follow the dev's and ask them in open chat on discord, it is very easy for you to do this, please do this and get your facts streight.
They are not ripping each other off; they are passing ideas back and fourth.
N2TheFire even asked the Dev's permission of Malady and other games before adding them to his games as visitors. I would believe they jumped at the chance because it would have reintroduced there games and got more people to play them, or reply them again.
And yes I am talking with Knowledge because I also speak to these dev's, as well as I help them out with there games with bug report's, as well as grammar and spelling corrections.

I have (admittedly) been defensive before, but I was not being pissy or defensive in that reply. People will say things before bothering to read the MANY devlogs, posts, and previous conversations where a given issue was already discussed. Last Human is absolutely in NO way an Oppai Odyssey knock off. There is nothing similar about them outside of them both being sci-fi. Cryoxxx is a very good friend of mine and helped me when I first started, and has done some work for me in earlier releases when I was still learning. Beyond that, I will never copy another person's work without giving credit where it's due (as with Melody and Celeste characters being in Serenity - in which case, nothing was really 'copied'. I designed an HS2 version of those characters from scratch).
What SerenityMC said to LHMC was purely opening a door. But I chose to do that for a reason. It does not mean that LHMC is going to fuck Rin from Serenity.
A LOT of work goes into every decision I make and a lot of things get changed as development continues - based on feedback and things I notice or don't like. This is a part of the development process. This is why I posted everywhere about the Rin situation when people were confused or didn't like it when it appeared that Rin and LHMC would 'hook up'.

I know, I'm sorry it takes so long. That's the problem with a dev working 2 games in tandem... for people that are only fans of one of them it takes forever.
who knows maybe i will be a fan of both however i already am stuffing my head with about 200+ unfinished stories i need to remember so i really cant fit anymore
though hope the update will be as great as ever

Nah, I love both your games. With an intertwined story it requires you to plan out both games so they intersect at the right times in both plots.
If anything, I only hate you because made SMC's sister insanely hot, have no incest tag and sent her away to her own world so I can't even look at her.... sadge.

Yeah, my biggest regret right there. You know, you go into this stuff and create these characters... well, me... I created each of these characters and spent so much time on them. After I made Camilla and completed several updates with her, it started. The Camilla craze. That is why I started writing a Camilla AVN on the side recently. With a different MC, and Cammie before her dad whisked her away to The Castle (that is the name of his world, like MC's is Serenity). That is something to look forward to at least. Once Serenity has ended, I'll be working on Last Human and then Camilla back and forth. I am hoping to have a very long first release for Camilla (that will be the name of it). I've been talking about it here and there, but when we are closer to the last updates to Serenity Chapter 2, I'll probably post about it specifically with more details and hopefully some initial renders.

Couple of words if I may.
Liked the game very much. Light-hearted yet atmospheric - it leaves very good and whole feeling.
If its possible, let an option to change "pet" in prefs anytime bc you ain't leaving too mush context of it at the beginning of the game and later I feel lil bit cringesome every time.
Overall the story's great, the homebase, space landscapes and starry animations are truly wonderful. Wish you all the best and continue your work!

It's not a big thing nor does it bother too much BUT! This is another planet, another culture. How come they use two different temperature measurements - even within the same area the girls are from. Also, they call them by Earth names. Calling the food (pizza, sushi) by Earth names is also funny.

A Happy New Year to all of you! 2024 was a crazy year, at least for me. I suffered a few losses, but also gained new followers, subscribers, and even new friends. It was an emotional roller coaster a few times as well, dealing with mean spirited reviews from people who really don't care whose feelings they hurt while trying to write (what they think) is the most entertaining and clever review of all time. Deciding to simply not give a shit about that anymore was probably one of my better choices this past year. So, mean people... write away. I have no fucks left! LOL. On the subject of reviews though, there are good ones as well. And I don't just mean good reviews awarding me 4 or 5 stars. I mean negative reviews with 3 or fewer stars, but not written in a way that attempts to get attention by seeing how clever they can be demoralizing the dev.
Anyway, moving on. 2024 was a very busy year for me. I did manage to release Serenity Chapter 2: Episode 3 (version 0.3) in March. Then Last Human: Episode 4 (version 0.7) in August. That was 5 months of development time from one release to the other. And we're looking at a definite Serenity update to release in January for sure, again, 5 months from the previous Last Human update. So, it seems that is becoming the pattern for my releases. Considering my full-time job and how that keeps me away from development quite often, and looking at how often other solo devs release updates... I'm not really doing as bad as I think. For 2025, I have resolved to never stress about the long development time anymore. In fact, I want to remove every stress-generating thing in my life that I can this next year and focus that energy on the games, and my work in general. This past year, too much energy was wasted on stressing about stuff I had no business stressing about. I can't tell you how unhealthy stress can be physically as well as mentally. Especially for a creative person like myself. It can ruin your creativity.
Looking ahead for Serenity Chapter 2: This has been my main project for quite a long time now. As I said in a post recently, Serenity has more haters than lovers. And I'm okay with that. Haters think its cheesy, cringey, badly written, etc... And they're even right about some parts of it. But my honest opinion of my own work? I love Serenity. The very definition of the word is what the game is about. Problems are resolved too quickly? Hell yeah... don't mess up my serenity with bullshit. Don't hold grudges. Be forgiving and understanding. This is the problem with the real world today. People get offended about everything and let all of it bother them. Why? Go back to your serenity. That's what the game is about... but yeah, also a lot of sex. And why not? Serenity can only be improved on with some beauty and sex. So, I put as much of it as I could in there. The fact that some people hate it or make fun of it is funny to me because they miss the point. They're too proud to admit they love the peace the story brings. It's turned into a 'guilty pleasure' to them LMAO. And I love that. I may not be making 6 figures a month on it, but I don't care. I'm rambling though... the future of Serenity looks a little like this - after episode 4 is released, I have 4 more episodes planned and then that will be the end of chapter 2. At that point, I'll be putting Serenity aside to focus more on Last Human, and I'll also focus on releasing 'Camilla'. Keep reading for details on that...
The Camilla Conundrum: I've made it NO secret that I don't write (those kinds of stories). I'm not into that. There are SO MANY (of those kinds of stories) out there already, the market is flooded with them. But even if I had an idea for a story, I am just not into the idea of it. But what do I do? I go and create the Serenity MC's sister and make her (arguably) one of the hottest characters in my arsenal. Granted, at the time, I wasn't really thinking about that. But I did want her to be fairly pretty. I had no idea the feedback I would receive. People love her. I got so many messages and feedback on Camilla that I decided I should do something about it. So, I started putting together a storyboard for a small game (for now simply named 'Camilla'). The story will take place before the events of Serenity Chapter 1. The MC will be a new male (NOT related to her). You will meet Camilla in college just as she is starting to realize she has some interesting abilities. Camilla lives with Demitre (her father) and he has not yet become a villain. But he has abilities and knows that Camilla is growing into hers. There will be a couple of side girls, but NOTHING like Serenity. We're talking maybe 3 side girls at the most. I am writing her as a cross between goth and 'good witch', who likes to dress in extravagant and sexy outfits and gets a lot of attention from everyone because she's so 'different'. What I've written so far in building her character in the game might be some of my best writing so far (I'm hoping). Her personality is really going to be front and center here. And the side girls, well... they'll all bring something to the table. This will be a single game with episodes. Obviously, we all know that Camilla eventually leaves to enter the void and join her father at 'The Castle'. I debated with myself how to end Camilla, and I don't think I want to do a story that ends with her leaving you on earth. So, it will be a happy ending but based on knowing that she will leave at some point.
Looking ahead for Last Human: Episode 5 is the next development phase for LH. There are just 2 'pets' left to sleep with (Alaina and Queen Tessa). Episode 5 will mostly be focused on that of course. But the Aurora is being prepared for its main mission, which will finally begin during episode 6. The captain, his main girls - Alexis, Natalie, Dezzy, Kalina, and Alaina... plus the side girls, Aury, Chef Amanda, Mary and Echo... will finally leave the Pantherian system and venture out... 'out there... somewhere'. And this is where the various adventures will start happening. They'll run across weird and crazy stuff that affects time, some of the girls' personalities, the Aurora itself, as well as some things affecting the crew in sexual ways. I am also working on adding a function where when you are in your quarters, before you go to sleep, you can look in on one of the other girls to see what they're doing. Sometimes it might be something sexy... or you might just find them quietly reading a book in their datapad. Episode 4 hinted at some mental connection you have with each of your 'pets' as you sleep with them. Once you've done that, you can feel what each other is feeling... essentially, you get to be 'in her eyes' feeling and seeing what she is for a few moments. You'll understand it better by the end of episode 5.
This has gotten pretty long. But I wanted to give you guys at least enough information to make the long year-end post worth your time. I want to thank my subscribers/patrons for the financial support to keep doing this... as well as those who simply joined to follow the stories and enjoy the process.
