So, here we're ACTUALLY talking about a game from a Russian/Ukrainian developer who STEALS other people's COPYRIGHTED material to MAKE MONEY for himself? The first actress is none other than Anissa Kate, a natural French Beauty, the second one is Henessy A. a Russian Actress and the clips is "Anissa Kate & Henessy A - "Do You Wanna Play With Me Episode 3". Cheers & have a champion day.
Approximately 10% of quests have not yet received a full description. It will be updated to the next build.I have a couple of quests in the description of which there is nothing, empty fields. Is it okay or I went somewhere wrong?
Oh get a grip of yourself you tossrag. So, here we're ACTUALLY talking about a game from a Russian/Ukrainian developer who STEALS other people's COPYRIGHTED material to MAKE MONEY for himself?
Why the hell not spend the income on the game for LEGAL photos or videos? I would happily produce them (I am an erotic photo/video producer).
At any rate, I think I am going to figure out who he stole his content from, and contact them on the adult professionals forum.
I have ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT for people who steal other people's material and then make money on it. I don't even have respect when they use it without permission, even though they DON'T make money.
As I don't know the maker of this game I imagine he didn't buy the rights to the material he uses, but hey, I'm gonna find out.
I can see his website provider breaks international domain agreements by masking his name. No problem. The owners of the material are just gonna send them a nice court order.
The girls from MyDirtyHobby are not going to like this. I think I will write to them too, one of them I know a bit.
Sabotage? I am not sabotaging, the developer of this game is. What I will be doing is preventing it.Oh get a grip of yourself you tossrag.
Listen, I don't like VortexCannon and have had numerous arguments with them on this forum but there's a difference between thinking somebody is a dick for using a certain business model and then actively going out of your way to sabotage their efforts.
VortexCannon isn't some professional studio making millions per year - they're an amateur dev who made a simplistic visual novel game in a 4th rate game engine. There's not a single professional that I know who hasn't done something similar to this in their path to becoming an actually decent developer.
The "content" that you refer to are mainly images picked up from preview sites and the like of; while yes it is technically illegal, to try and jump on a moral high ground because some guy/girl is trying to make a quick buck is sad as fuck.
What you SHOULD have done is searched any games with the "real porn" tag and then started posting in those threads advertising your services with a ballpark figure of your rates and attempted to integrate yourself into what is a burgeoning and (in the future) potentially highly lucrative industry. You know, like professionals with creative vision do?
Then you and the models could make some extra side cash, the content creators would have access to a trustworthy artist who can make custom content to fit their game's requirements, and ultimately it would drive sales as the higher production value attracted more fans.
Almost EXACTLY like streaming media sites did with the porn industry.
Or you could go and tell the teacher on some small time dev making, in comparison to the studios, very little money on what is a passion project, eventually shutting them down then watching 25 other games spring up with exactly the same issue?
You want to help solve this? Great. Me too. Get involved in the adult gaming industry as it's in its infancy and the future of it is only getting larger and more profitable. Be somebody who can actually change the prevalence of stolen content rather than someone who sits at the back of the room yelling about how unfair everything is.
EDIT: Oh, and while I'm here - the adult gaming industry doesn't currently function like other professional media content creation as a business model. Most of it is done on a pay monthly basis through crowdfunding. So rolling up offering yourself to a guy with a plan for a $10k shoot isn't going to get anyone anywhere. Most of these guys starting out haven't got $10 let alone $10k which is why they're using other people's assets. These developers need time to build an audience so that they can build a revenue foundation in order to start spending on their own media creation. Hence why professional studios should have agreements with them based on additional exposure, in game advertising and other types of branding to allow them to create a functioning business which can not only advertise their site but also, eventually, provide freelance work for some of their stars.
The business here is potentially swimming in money. Porn is a high revenue industry. Video games are a high revenue industry. Porn video games should be an absolute no-brainer and there's room for profit in that market space. However this is never going to happen effectively unless porn producers understand the symbiotic relationship that they have to hold with these indie developers - that they aren't going to be able to have creative control over the project or its usage. Many sites, such as LifeSelector, have tried "Choose Your Own Adventure" style porn games but they are so ineptly made or monetised that nobody in their right mind would pay for them. And yet they STILL seem to make a ton.
Piracy is ALWAYS a service problem. Without exception. The games industry has fought this battle a thousand times, as has the movie and music business. Steam, iTunes/Spotify and Netflix solved the service problem which is why they made billions and piracy rates fell through the floor. I imagine that the porn industry has had similar success with partnering with the larger video sites to direct/signpost customers to their site themselves.Sabotage? I am not sabotaging, the developer of this game is. What I will be doing is preventing it.
And, if you think the porn industry is swimming in money, you've another thing coming. Pirates cause the industry to bleed 90% of their projected income. It's a very, very hard business to survive in! Especially if you do niche stuff.
Also, MyDirtyHobby gives almost all revenues to the models. In that case, it is pure (and evil) theft. The girls DO NOT make millions on the work they do!!!
The adult gaming industry isn't in its infancy. It has been around since the 1980s. I know because I remember.
And, I am actually currently working on a game concept.
What I am saying is that ... you want to use other people's work? FINE! PITCH AN IDEA AND BUY THE RIGHTS!!!
I have links to loads of places where you can buy both photo and video content you can use for all kinds of projects. As long as they are behind some kind of payment plan (single purchase or membership) so it may be safely used in games released on Patreon.
Current version is 2.60. Your 0.5 is something super old. There is no patchlink patch only pls ?? i hve already version 0.5.0a

Thanks for the feedback! As to other problems, are you sure it is the game, or "leaving" the website, or is it you complaining about a decent game that you aren't liking because it is not fitting your ideal of a game? Or are you bitching because someone is making a decent game, and you can't play it, because it's too "hard?"
I have my issues with the game. However, I understand my issues. My major complaint is not the game, gameplay, or even the website. My major complaint is the lack of a free, on here, walk through of the game. I do love the recent improvements to the game, and I do love having a cloud save system. Vortex Cannon, please allow a walk through of the game to posted here. It can not include the paid version of the game/walk through. This can help.
Previously, the public version was a separate client and was updated once a month. At the request of the players I am now using a shared client for all players. So all players get new updates every week, regardless of whether you are a Parteon subscriber or free player from the forum. Plus, every few days I upload hot-fixes to the server. You get these updates without a new game client at all.The other thing I would change is any paid part in game, I would only bring out once the person has logged into the game, and had paid for the content. Aside from these changes, I would not change too much more than. And please continue working on the game, and making it even better.
