Yes, I always agree that not all players love online. And many of them are just due to the fact that they cannot access mods or cheats. I agree with this and reconciled that I'll lose some of the audience. I made my point without offending anyone. But this Spectr came and wrote that the game is "bad", because he can't cheat, that I'm stupid, that "most" players are against my game, and so on. But this is a lie.
Gonna meet you half way there, but the commentary was more subtle than that. And they do have a point. You do seem to be, IMHO, oblivious to the point there are making. If a game is posted on a site like this, people will want to able to mess with it. Just look at our mod section.

Again it is your game but try to keep an open mind when posting your game here. My review of this game should tell you all lot about this community. Just give us a reason to play the game, hint, hint, a offline version. If you would that, maybe we(as in the F95 community) could even help you to expand on your game.

I do "delivering constant quality updates and listen to well argumented feedback from your community". The whole random was removed from the game, alpha points were removed, all key storylines became available regardless of the player's decisions so you can't miss something important. In general, everything that the players asked for is done. Therefore, the players return.

Don't tell me about Witcher, Summertime Saga or EA. We have completely different conditions, we will make different games, and we may like different games as players.

And something else, I'm not "throwing half assed arguments" and not "fucking" anyone here. So if you have something to say, use normal language, please.
When I was talking about games that deliver quality updates I was speaking for the games that work on patreon because I don't know your situation since I haven't played in a while.

Preference has nothing to do with business practices, any game company / indie dev is free to do business as they want ( as long as it's legal of course ) but us, as customers / donors are free to criticize their choices and not support them because of it. Why can't we compare you to other game companies ? How are you so different from them, especially from DarkCookie ? You're both indie devs making an "open world" porn game except that yours uses pictures / videos and he uses art to draw the scenes, sure the story is different but that's it. I'm not saying DarkCookie is better than you or the way around I'm just comparing you to someone that does almost the same thing because you are both competitors ( wether you like it or not ) and as a customer / backer I want to know which one will bring more fun between the two games.

You are throwing empty arguments, I don't see why you don't just explain the reason why you go online-only with an anti-cheat instead of an offline game where we're free to cheat ?

PS : I wasn't saying you were fucking people litterally I was saying you were making the game less enjoyable for the people that are backing you, not the people that weren't because that's what DRM does, DENUVO does the same thing it makes the game less playable and more annoying for the people that pays for it not the people that pirate it and honestly at the end of the day wether someone can pirate your game or not if your game is good then people will support you that's a fact and it's been proven over and over again.

I wasn't going to post here anymore but I need to clear this up.

Players (not all, but generally speaking) don't like to be unnecessarily restricted when playing games. You do the following which many (not all) players frown at:

  • Online only
  • Must create an online account to play
  • Save game are stored on your server (not local)
  • Heavy duty anti-cheat system
  • Restricted features, less time to complete things, etc. (Not all of this is bad)
  • Not moddable by players
All this for a game that smells, feels, sounds, and looks like a single player game. Players could do nearly everything in the game without the need for an online component. 98% of the game or more plays like a single player game.

All of the above listed items makes many players feel restricted and controlled. Many feel that it was done unnecessarily (not needed). Not everyone but a large portion of this community, just read the reviews. I can't speak for everyone and I never tried to.

Players love to be able to manipulate games, whether it is cheating, modding, or just poking around. All of the restrictions really discourage a lot of players, myself included.

I don't think you are stupid. I'm sure you are very intelligent and probably smarter than I am.

It's not that people are against or hate online games. The issue is that a single player game was turned into an online game with lots of restrictions to go along with it. That is the main issue. It discourages and frustrates a lot of players. Players expect these types of restrictions when playing true multiplayer games such as Battlefront, Rainbow Six, Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, etc. but not with games that smell, feel, sound, and look like a single player game.

I hope this makes sense to you. This is what we have been trying to communicate to you for some time. We are not against you making money off of your games. We don't hate online games that need or have to be online.

If the game is restricted so much that players have to pay in order to really enjoy it, then that crosses the "line of decency" in some people's eyes. Did you cross that line? That is debatable, but it is damn near close. If you really remove the anti-cheat system like you claim, that would certainly be welcome. If the game were moddable by players, it would be even better! F95Zone has a very strong modding community and players love to improve things.

Thank you for the countless hours you have poured into this game!

Thank you for your contributions to the F95Zone community!

Last Man 3.01
In the new build has added several small scenes that can appear when you will spending the night in a Dorm. They can be both in the evening and in the morning. This will help diversify your game if you are stayed little bit longer with quests in the third city.

Also, some old scenes received the update. Event, where our hero meets Masha first on the road, and then Oksana, and both girls invite him the next day. Some players missed this point, and did not fulfill the promises given to the girls, or one of them, because of which they lost access to some other events with these girls. Now these girls will not be so categorical, and if you have already earned a good reputation with them before, they will be able to forgive you this fail (but it’s better not to deceive the girls :)).

Also, updates received a scene with Vera, after she took our hero to a hidden entrance to a secret cave, and a flashback with Kate, about the past of our hero. These events received changes in actions and additional dialogs.

All these three events received a new, more stable code, and the sex scenes in them got the opportunity to rewind.

Yes, I planned to launch this feature earlier, but I ran into some problems due to the many languages available in the game. It is necessary that this works equally well for all of them :)

Lets make a single player online game only. Once you make it possible to play the game without going online. It may be possible for me to download it.

Mate, we've all tried. This one doesn't listen and uses F95Zone not only to advertise their paid game but to stop any efforts at pirating. I received a DMCA takedown from them last time I uploaded a game rip and the dev themselves is a huge tool. F95 should really do something about this thread because it's the anti-thesis to what this site is supposed to be about.

It's useless do yourself a favour and simply ignore him. As long as players play his game they accept his methods and he will continue to follow his track.

My guy, you seem willfully ignorant of the points being made, so I'll summarize them for you, kay?

You have taken a concept and formed it into a game that is almost entirely single player in nature. Yes, some small sections are multiplayer, but MP is by and large not going to be most people's focus when playing a game like this. Despite this, you decided to take away a litany of features enjoyed by many, most notably the ability to cheat, and locking them behind a paywall. You then further spit in the face of your players by forcing them to maintain an online connection in order to play a game that A NUMBER OF THEM HAVE PAID MONEY TO PLAY. Triple A devs get metric tons of shit when they do this, so why on earth would you think it a good idea, honestly?

At this point, I've no interest in attempting to explain to you how the concept of public capital works, rather, I'd like to bring to your attention the fact that your actions when making this game are utterly tone-deaf in terms of listening to the desires of your player base.

In short, if you don't understand why the path you've taken was the worse one at this point, then you probably never will.

Upcoming Hero’s Base updates
(Copy from my .)

Sometimes people ask me why this or that location become available in the public version at once, and some of them remain in early access for a long time. As one example of such locations, this is the hero’s Base. Although about 20k of the most active public accounts have already got access to it, it still remains inaccessible to the rest, since it’s not finished. And today I want to tell you what awaits this location in the next updates, before it becomes 100% playable and available to everyone.

Information for those who have not yet played in the Base. This is an additional mini-game in the Last Man. We receive the Base as a reward for the quest from the New Post. After that, during the game we hire girls (some of the main storyline heroines) and can send them to missions (including to attack the Bases of other players), where they receive experience, improvements and some rewards for the main character. All Base progress is tied to your account, and is not reset even if you start the game from beginning.

So, what lies ahead:

Girls. They will not only receive levels for the earned experience, but also increase their rank. This is currently planned at 5th, 10th and 20th levels. At these ranks, they will unlock additional abilities. Some abilities will speed up the execution of missions, some increase income or even get you additional items for the hero. There will be such abilities that will be needed in new, rare missions.

Missions. They will more closely overlap with the events of the game. And some quests and events can activate rare missions. For example, girls from the Dorm will ask you to find some item that is not available in their city. Or the New Post will ask you to find the new settlement of CARMA. Such missions will replace one of the default ones, and to complete them, higher-ranking girls will be needed. But the reward for such missions, of course, will be much higher than usual, and sometimes reveal additional details about the game world.

Multiplayer. At the moment, everyone has 4 regular missions and one PvP (against other players). After the updates, you can choose the mode in which you want to play – PvE or PvP. The mode can be changed, but not more than once a week. In PvP mode, the rewards will be more impressive, but if another player attacks your Base and you lose - penalty will be bigger also. An additional battle mode will appear, where you can fight with another player, directly controlling your girls, instead of automatic simulations.

Items. There will also be more items that you can used in missions or leave them to remain on the defense of the Base. A separate cell will appear in the mission for them, so they will not occupy the girl’s slot. It will be possible to get them, as before, on the missions or during the main game in quests.

Seasons. In addition to choosing PvE or PvP, you can also choose whether you want to participate in the Season. In normal mode, you can level your girls as long as you want, until their development stops at the 20th level, after receiving all the ranks. If you decide to play in the Season, then the progress of the Base will be reset to zero, and you, together with other players, will be able to compete for the title best leader of the Base. In this mode, the girls will not have a limit on the maximum level. And at the end of the season, some of the players who managed to level the Base more than others will receive additional permanent rewards to their account.

Last Man 3.02
In this build, the storyline with Ruby, a girl from auto service, received an alternative way. Earlier in this event there were already several options for the development of events, for example, if you immediately respond to her request, or postpone it for later. Now there is an option when you deliberately ignore her request, and later you’ll find out what this lead to.

Another change that you’ve asked for a long time. Now it is possible to specify the name of your character by yourself and in the game everyone will contact you by your name. So you can more deeply roleplay your hero. In this regard, the game will show you the character’s window, where you can set a name and, if you want, redistribute the hero’s abilities points once again. Full support for this function so far is only in English and partially it also works in several other translations. In the next few builds, this will apply to all translations.

Two past scenes also received updates. It is one of the flashbacks with Kate and about work of our hero and, also, the final scene in the CARMA camp. These events received new code and updated dialogs.

A critical bug was fixed that prevented getting to the map after one of the overnights. Fixed a rare problem when there is not enough energy to leave the city on the 21st day. Also, minor corrections were made to some other flashbacks in the game.

In my you will find a big post about the upcoming updates of the Hero’s Base. If you have your own ideas, it’s time to leave them in the comments.
