No. You are wrong for thinking that the term must apply to all its definitions!I guess we are both right then
Boy, here we go again! Whats with the "believing" stuff? Which definition of professional includes "believing in one self"? If are paid to fly then they are by definition a professional pilot. Where are you taking this?If I hired a professional pilot, I would like to believe, that the pilot had training and that he didn't just believe it himself.
No.I guess for some people it depends on the work that's done too.
Wrong by definition of the word "professional" as defined in multiple dictionaries, as I have previously proven. If a porn game "maker", is doing a crap job, then they are amateurs, if they are doing a great job, they are professionals - regardless of the money.
If they are being paid for their work then they are professionals. If you and your colleagues don't believe that, then that's just that. A belief. Not a statement of fact.In my line of work irl, my colleagues and I regard ourselves as professionals, since we've all wen't through college and university to be bachelors and candidates in our field. A person without the same education, working along us, wouldn't be seen as a professional like us, regardless of them receiving the same paycheck as us.
Money is in the defitnion. You're just confusing the words "Education" and "Profession".We've worked hard to achieve our status as professionals - money is not the case in this.
You worked hard for a degree but job market decided whether your degree is worth money. That makes your uneducated colleague a professional as well.
