Dev is active on ZXCs discord, they got their own lil room for the game, they said the next update will likely be after the first Main story quest is complete. Base on what else they said they got alot done and I think its mostly just them getting the story in place and all that jazz.
Really enjoyed the demo. Btw, are these CGs in the demo or is it from that other game Latex Dungeon?

I'm Axolu, or SepiaOulomenohn. Thanks all y'all for trying it out!
After two months, the game is finally updated with the first main quest mission!
(Also, I noticed that the link said latex_dungeon_public_demo, and I've fixed it to say 'island' there, as it should. whoops >.> That means it might need to change on the first post here too.)
I wanted to have two quest mission, and I wanted a couple sidequests, but unfortunately my own sensory system's coding has been giving me a ton of trouble. What this means is I'mma spend the next month working on that before getting to all of the things I want to.
Also, the maps are kinda' empty right now, and I apologize for that. I absolutely plan to give them more life.

Found bug in tutorial: if you jump too early, you land on square under landing zone and will stuck.

They are, dev is using them as placeholders, has permission from ZXC (artist and dev behind latex dungeon) to make use of assets and sprites obviously with the intention of replacing them with native assets
