The game needs some time in the oven for sure.
First the direction of the game is not good, and by that i mean there is none. You just randomly visit places in the map and hope an event is there and of course most of the time there isn't one. The map button is also only available in the first "tile" of a location so if you are 7 tiles deep you have to walk back 7 times to reach the map...
Also, no inventory, girl menu, quest journal and nothing to do in the sandbox so really this is a linear visual novel with extra inconveniences placed in the gameplay loop. I dont understand how so many sandbox games get the basic convenience things wrong when they are so easy.
And lastly the English translation is indecipherable gibberish. Just use an AI translator for that if none of the devs speak a single syllable of English.
