Does anybody have a save file for the first game around or sometime before Laura finds Samuel and David talking about a stripper party? My save bugged out much earlier in the playthrough with some events happening out of order, though I was able to get it mostly back on track and continue, although from then on I always had an extra Laura in the party. But now in this scene it just freezes up, and I think it's because of that second Laura.

Hi guys, this week I'm working on some animations and sprites to put on the maps, before you saw empty maps and now Laura and other characters will appear on the map so you can interact with them.
I had to correct the “translations” graph because I hadn't yet included the “Portuguese” and “Spanish” languages.

Let's see, this game has two main chapters (not counting specials or LIA), chapter 1 is the initial one and uses rpgmaker as the engine, on the other hand, chapter 2 is the current one and uses renpy as the engine. Well, Dark Anu got tired in the first chapter of all the impediments and difficulties that the rpgmaker engine had for his game, so in the second chapter (the current one) he switched to renpy after having tried it with the spin-off (Laura Island Secrets).
What Dark Anu is doing is a remake of only the first chapter, the one that was in rpgmaker, now transferring it to renpy, improving the quality of the images, gameplay, changing dialogues and also adding some new scenes. On the other hand, while doing this, he continues working on chapter 2 and LIA.
If you have any other questions, I recommend asking them on the Discord, they will answer you faster and more accurately.

Good, the best thing about renpy is being able to make saves wherever you want, especially at the choices, where in rpg you could never make a save at the choices
I agree with that, however, about RPGmaker I liked that it allowed you to explore more, it was not so direct, you could interact with things and the map gave more play, for example, when it came to hiding hidden scenes... but being realistic , it's more for nostalgia, because in almost everything else renpy is superior.
Is there like any ETA for the remake? the remake will release complete or we will need to wait for multiple updates? sorry if it was already asked

It won't be complete. Impossible because Chapter 1 is huge. Now will be first release with pretty big amount of content.
I doubt it, keep in mind that the Christmas scene is from the latest versions, it will be from 1.4 onwards... unless Dark includes it as it is not considered a canonical event of the plot, but it seems complicated to me.
It would be good to know how many parts the remake will be divided into, because the first chapter is huge.
