Just on another level, It pretty much broke me. The best story out there, certainly not for everyone though, please take the warnings seriously guys.

If you are on the fence, I would definitely wait for the next episode before playing, because episode 6 is rough in the best of ways.

Drifty, you really did write one hell of a story.

This game is indeed worth having your respect, I play somewhat lot of game in this forum but saying none. But, this one, is totally different, as I am one of those who are too lazy to read.

I am usually read the story of any others game for like 5 minutes into the game and wrap it up to what game play they offer, what solution they demand.

And then we got this game, which are certainly have a way to reach especially me as a non-reader in the first place, I've to admit I always dodge VN tag because most of them haven't much mechanism to play with and/or the problem I need to face to get the rewards.

And it's goes the same for this game the 1st chapter, I get invested in chapter one, and have enough of the story until I reach turn event point. Then, this game got me good.

I am not gonna rate, I leave them to other people who have ability to, I just a plebs who out of no where feels this game worth is more than I write this long.

Just played Episode 6. My Head is empty and I probably need some time to process. The renders ar beautiful und the writing is real good. I honestly didn't expect this after the first episodes, but the emotional impact is quite something.

I was a little uncertain at first if I was going to want to commit to the game; a few instances where another run of proofreading would have helped, a touch of uncanny valley in an animation, the MC character model being just a bit... not quite right - that sort of thing.

And now I'm here giving it five stars, having needed a few minutes in silence after the end, and desperately wanting the whole game to suddenly be finished so I can experience the whole journey. I enjoyed the path I took so completely that I kinda don't want to go back and see what the other paths are like because it would be somehow... disrespectful to the memories I just made for myself.

At the end of the day, the small details that made me unsure at first don't even register enough to rate this anything less than five stars. Looking forward to more.

I won't lie, I wasn't very much into this game from the start. I actually only like two of the character models.

However, it really grows on you when the MC goes on this paradise like vacation with all his friends. This game is more or less like creating great memories. Stuff you can look back on and smile.

It's probably not everyone's cup of tea as a result. Heck, it even threw me off since I was so used to some sort of conflict. I think my only personal gripe is that it's a bit corny at times.

Since the MC pretty asked to be pretty moralistic, you will only select one girl to romance. This makes a few moments feel a little odd because it's like a super friend bonding moment with the pacing of romance moment. Not a terrible thing, but I was spooked a few times because I was like "oh no, don't make me break their heart."

In this game You become wholesome maker 9000. You can hook your best friend. You can fix a relationship. You will be the center of why people have great memories with each other.

This game certainly evokes that sense of "man, I just want my girl and all my homies to be good."

Then ch. 6's ending hits, and you're like "oh no"

This is what the rest of the game is going to go from, and it's going to make or break the game. It's not your typical topic in an adult VN that's been pretty dang positive thus far.

Look, if you're dealing with those thoughts, I want you to know you're not alone and help is out there. You're not crazy either. It wouldn't be such a prevalent issue in humanity if you were. And as such, there are people who care, and there are ways to help yourself out of those thoughts.

I hope this game does it. I hope this game evolves into something that does give other people hope, especially those struggling.

Review of Leap of Faith Ch. 6

First of all, please fix phone GUI and mechanism. It's so tedious and such a chore everytime there's a new message. In game phone can add many elements to the VN but in Leap of Faith, instead it distracted my experience.

Other than that, like many other said, this is a well written VN. 9/10.

See how that banner has a girl crying? That's a god damn warning that this game can get you to that place.

This game handles so very very serious topics. It's well written and paced for most of the experience, and you'll be absorbed in what's happening.

Unlike most of adult VN, this one actually has you matching other characters too, and it's worth it. It's dang wholesome in that regards. The Goofy friend is more than a joke punching bag, and it's refreshing.

That being said, the finale of ch. 6 is so damn real. As someone who's been far down that painful road, it was intense to see it all again. I feel for her, and I've seen others like her, and I've been worried like the MC.

It takes a lot of experience and processing to handle this stuff. To anyone facing the , I will gladly offer an ear without judgment. Please seek a professional mental health expert if you feel what she feels. You are not alone.

Excellent adult visual novel tackling complex themes with different love interests.
Multiple playthroughs are necessary to see the paths for different women.

Art is gorgeous and expressive. Animations are good. Music adds to the emotional impact of scenes.

This game is character driven. Slice of life explores and builds relationships among the group, not only with the main character. There's even an option to matchmake for a couple of the NPCs. Most of the emotional highs and lows have enough groundwork, although a couple felt shortcircuited or rushed.

In terms of game design, it is easy to miss bonus content that's unlocked by the phone. I used a walkthrough to see what I missed.

The love interests are a bit uneven in how well integrated they are and how strong their stories are. Even though I like all of their characters, I think a few could have been cut without impacting the overall themes and message. A smaller set of love interests might have sharpened the tension between past, present, and possible loves, as well as simplified the MC's story.

Sometimes it's a bit awkward for the writing to drag along rejected love interests. For example, there are scenes that build up as huge moments, only to conclude anticlimactically because the game deflects if the player isn't on that woman's path.

Overall though an excellent game!

I cannot believe how much this game consumed me for Days. The writing is amazing this is a shining example of how erotic games should be. Never once have I EVER shed a tear during a VN and this had me in tearville many times... and Chapter 6.... It should not be an option... its 100 percent of what you signed on for in this story as hard as it was to sit through. This by far has been the most gripping and "real" game I have played to date. Bravo to Drifty Games and I will be sending a nice monetary thank you soon. Devs kike this deserve support and more.

The models are okay. The story is okay. The humor isn't for me. After a certain point though I realized I was still clicking through the game but had totally lost interest. I appreciate the developer trying to tackle some tough themes, but it didn't land for me.

One of the best games that i have played. Emotional, funny, sometimes goofy, filled with great characters, animations.and maybe the best music i have heard in a long time.

But beware of the heavy themes! They can make you sad or depressed, if you are in a dark place yourself or know sombody that has these issues. (Thank god for the Warning) Believe me. I had to deal with these things for years and some elements here hit me really hard. Even if its just a game. The Dev knows exactly how scary/difficult these illness is and how hard it is to live such a life.

Thats why it´s a 5/5 for me so far. It´s more than just a fap game. He created a emotional rollercoster, that will not let you go for days. And i´m really exited and a little scared for what is coming next.^^

I am angry at myself for waiting this long to write a review for this game, considering I've been playing it for 1-2 years at this point.

This game is one of the crown jewels in the AVN space, deserving every bit of the immensely high rating it already has. All because it does the thing it sets it do better than every other game:

1. Compelling, likeable characters, all dealing with their own issues (best part of the game)
2. The Slice-of-life story, with humorous and witty writing.
3. The emotions, coupled with one of the best soundtracks out of any game I have ever played.

Whether you're starting out in the AVN space, or have been a part of it for a while now, do yourself a favor and play this wonderful game, and pledge to Drifty on Patreon immediately.

One of the easiest 5 stars I would ever give, period.

Fuck man... Just finished the last update, it is a really good game with a great story that hooked me up and makes you feel for the characters, especially since i played it from the start to the end in one sitting i was completely in it.

I just love this one so much, even if there are sad moments. (Or maybe the sad moments is what make this one so great!)

It has loveable characters, both men and women. The humor is so good, I had trouble reading some pages as I laughed so much that tears made me nearly blind. I cried a lot of other reasons to, some parts in this history made me think of sad things, but in a beautiful way. Edit: I forgor the music, stupid, stupid me, it's just marvelous. Some songs I played at the top of my speakers. (Luckily my neighbor under me is half-deaf and I don't care about the birds on the roof above me! Yes, penthouse... )

This is by far my favorite story. I hate the cliffhangers, but it adds to the need to come back for more updates.

A good series of slice of life stories. While renders aren't exactly the best, they got the job done. I have two main criticism: First, the phone mechanism is weird and tedious. Second, the smiles of some characters are just weirdly posed. Like someone held them gunpoint & forced to smile. 9/10.
