VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Leap of Faith [Ch. 8 v1.0.3] [DriftyGames]

This is the best game I have found on this site. The story is great, it's incredibly well put together. Not to mention, the creator has a great sense of humor, I had to laugh out loud several times during the game. Looking forward to the next chapters.

Leap of Faith is a nice little wish fulfillment/harem simulator. You’ve got several (mostly) beautiful love interests:

- The ex you’re not over, who has the perfect excuse for leaving you long ago.
- Two bisexual women who want to welcome you into a thruple.
- The broken girl who doesn’t let anyone in, but will make an exception for you.
- The childhood friend with whom you’ve had years of sexual tension, on and off.
- The humble and kind (but world famous) musician with endless money and a mansion where you spend your days partying.

The quality of game development is great. There are opportunities throughout the story to interact with your phone to unlock different options in scenes or increase your relationship with characters, which is a nice touch of depth. The models and backgrounds are above average. The soundtrack is unique and pleasant. The writing itself really delivers on the erotica front, with good pacing, a healthy amount of teasing before the sex scenes, and some spicy content during.

The one thing that stops me giving this game 5 stars is that I haven't felt much depth in the story department for the entire game. In addition to most of the characters feeling more like flat character archetypes than individuals, nothing’s really established as being at stake, such as interpersonal drama or a central conflict, for all of the first 4 chapters. As much as I’d love, in real life, to have 6 women at a mansion paradise are all throwing themselves at me and then easily shifting gears into friendship with no hard feelings if I decide to pursue their friend instead, it doesn’t make for a very interesting story.

Events in chapter 5 make it look like this we may be getting some drama and consequence soon, so hopefully I’ll be bumping this up to 5 stars soon by the time the story’s finished.

This game is just incredible. The story, the graphics, the characters, seriously...I've been playing Virtual Novels for 2 years now, but I've never played such an insanely beautiful game before. The game has touched my heart. I give the author my utmost respect for his work. I will definitely become his Patreon. I'm speechless and don't know what else to write. This is how virtual novels should be. Many thanks to DRIFTY for this masterpiece.

You know, I stumbled on this by accident, but man, what an experience and magnificient coincidence, author is amongs the best in the VN genre.

You know how you usually skip all dialogue to get to the *good stuff*. Well, this story is really entertaining and intriguing. I actually laughed out loud a couple of times.

For the first time playing one of these games I actually had to think about the decisions on a more emotional level. The characters are all very likable and are all different.

It also helps that it looks amazing and the girls are all different in their own way.

What an exceptional game! Definitely some of the best writing out there. Every character, including the MC is complex, multi-dimensional and so very real. Leap of Faith has a big heart and it shows every step of the way.

I've never played a game that have managed such an exquisite mix of tragedy and comedy. That scene early on where the MC sleeps on the couch, wakes up and starts cleaning up his flat with nothing but a towel and bunny slippers is the first time in a long while a game made me actually laugh out loud.

There are even valuable lessons in there, especially for the F95 audience. The scene in Lexi's bedroom after the date where the MC tells her how a good date doesn't have to end in sex, that even a cuddle could be a great way to mark the day because it's the connection that matters is profound and something I'd never have expected from a porn game. You can easily tell apart the devs who write with their dicks and those who write with their hearts, and that's what makes Leap of Faith such a gem among the wasteland.

There won't be many words here. I just want to say that this game is incredibly beautiful. To be honest, I was crying like a bitch. Thanks for playing. I chose Cece, and after going through the whole story with her, I can say that it was incredible. I think it's worth going with other characters ... Maybe I shouldn't force myself to sob at some moments))

Great game with beautiful renders, an appealing story, and good writing. I haven't played it in a while (not since Chapter 4), but my only complaint would be that from what I remember the choices you make aren't very varied or impactful.

Wow this was great. The characters and character building really stand out in this one, it really got me caring about the cast. It has a few flaws but it's still one of the few games I consider to be worthy of 5 stars. Not all the characters are equally attractive and some of the sex scene animation look a bit strange. But if you like a decent build up and story driven game you should really check this out. (And it got me laughing out loud with some of it's silly but original humor)

Why do I like this game?

• I love how the faces and skin tones of each model are attractive/sexy yet very different (no re-using the same model's face but simply changing out the hair style).
  • Con: With that said though their tits & asses all look the same size though...
• Some great funny and fun moments.
• You care about the characters and appreciate the friendships, especially between M.C. and Chris.
• Plenty of girl 'types' to focus one's relationship on. For example, you can focus on a love/physical relationship with the girl who needs to be rescued; with the pop-star who never had a childhood; with your own childhood/high school friend, an old flame, etc.
• No grinding!
• No mini-games that require specific dexterity checks or timing
• A semi-linear story that allows for some choices but also keeps things moving forward without being overly complex.

4.5 stars!

That's a great game according to me. It has some flaws that cost it the last star but honestly giving it a 5 stars won't be a scandal!

1: The characters are what make it so special according to me! We get to be intimate with all of them, they seem quite real and human. Nice work

2: the graphs are one of the points not perfect for me. Some characters are awesome and so beautiful and some are quite meuh/average... I think about kira for exemple, linda and robin too are lower level than others. The MC is quite handsome but i got chocked when he says his age at chapter 5.... That's BS.

3: The story is interesting but too short for me, it is a little bit too much condensed. I got issue with the chapter 4 and the choice the game ask you to do. It seems too rush out, too soon! I didn't want to choose so soon I whish i could have fun a little before making any choice at all. Having fun or discovering a little more the characters. I don't see if i'm clear but that was too soon.

4: This one is a big NO for me, the side quest are so difficult to complete without walkthrough. I missed so much content and i have searched for hints in the games to make them. That's a shame. I think there is work to do in this area to make them more obvious. In fact, that's not a life or death matters but it made me so furious and frustrated so that was THE reason i give this game 4 stars and not the 5 it can deserves. If you need an example, i think about the pin code of the robin's phone. I'm sure it is hers nickname's number but i couldn't make it or even try it...

5 The musics: they are awesome, well chosen and all. Congrats that is brilliant!

6: Replayability: Not really great this game have a BIG BIG choice out of the blue but the rest is correct.

I've only reviewed a few games, ones that stick out. This one...

the character development, story, re-playability, and the fact you ACTUALLY feel empathy for some of the characters!

I am playing this again and must say developer has done a wonderful job on the renders and adnimation. Very well done and I enjoyed the story a lot as well just playing second run with Cece as my main girl. Had run with Lexi the first time around. Ah this is fun can't wait for the final release so that I can finish the story in a go.

Got it all! Characters that you can give a damn about; plot twists and drama; comedy and general goofiness; excellent music mixed with the scenes and smooth animations of beautiful women.

I'm sure there are flaws and shortcomings, but I just can't think of any at the moment. Oh, yeah. I kinda thought that Cece should have smaller, perky tits (person pref), but I love her anyway.

I'm not sure about this VN, the artwork is among the best here, the different characters offer some choices and the music fit the situations.
A bit worried about the story, but thats just my taste.
And is it just me or does the MC look a bit stoned most of the time?

I liked the game quite a lot. Arts is good. LIs are likeable and interesting. MC is actually likeable as well (which for me is uncommon in such games).
Writing is good (but not fantastic). It is a VN, so not too much gameplay, but so far the choices feel quite satisfyingly meaningful (have not checked whether they really make any difference, though)

Weak point, for me, is the story.

Just finished ch 5. Here are my thoughts about this game.

Good:
-hot women
-great story
-great renders and animations
-hot sex scenes
-MC is not a cuckold
-MC does not share or whore out the girls
-the player's choices matter on how the story goes
-the player has full control over the MC's actions and who to have sex with

Bad:
-can't think of any, aside from the difficulty in choosing who to pursue (Steph, Lexi and Cece really makes this a hard choice for me)

It seems like the story still has a lot more chapters to go but there is already a lot of content which is good. I'm giving this game 5 stars.

This is not a game, it's an art. The music, the story, and the renders are extremely good. The best thing about this game in my opinion is the music and the story. Even if you don't like story-based games, trust me. This is different!
