It is running with the same GPU. How do I check vsync and fps?
Depends on your GPU, NVIDIA for example:
Vsync:
FPS:

I think other brands also have similar things.
Also, the video shows "Global Settings" for Vsync, but you can edit the settings for individual applications on "Program Settings" tab.

This is info I got for Intel.

To show VSync in Intel Graphics Command Center (Intel GCC), you can do the following:
  1. Open the Intel Graphics Command Center from the Windows Start Menu
  2. Select the game or application under My Games
  3. Click Custom to create a custom profile
  4. Find the Vertical Sync setting
  5. Apply the desired setting for the game or application
However, there is no My Games there.

Intel Graphics Command Center
According to this:

You need the beta version, and this seems their version of the overlay to show the FPS:

Although if you look on google, you can probably find other FPS counters.

Ideally the game should be running at 60 fps (if your monitor is 60 hz, it'll be more if your monitor's refresh rate is higher).

I did all that and the FPS doesn't show 60. Screenshot 2024-11-23 093453.png

Oh wow, that's very low. It's 5 fps, try changing the settings from Ultra to Very Low. The game will always default to Ultra, it's not set automatically.

-edit-
Also, laptops usually have two modes: Battery Save mode / Energy efficency mode and Performance mode. It usually defaults to the first (Battery save mode) when it's unplugged.

Your aim should be at least 20/30 fps. I think you can reach that if you go to settings and put "Very low"

I changed the graphics in the settings of LoH to very low but the fps remained the same and nothing changed.

I also keep my laptop plugged in. I have no idea why this is happening on this new laptop which is supposed to have better performance than my last one.

That's very weird. The game is not that demanding, and changing settings should have made some difference as it lowers a lot of stuff. Does it happen on other floors without fog too? Perhaps if it's the fog making a huge impact, I could disable it on lower settings as well.
Do you have other 3D Games you can try to see if you have the same issue?

-edit-
Also, lowering resolution helps with performance, although things won't look as good or clear if you lower it too much.

It does happen on other floors. I don't have any other games like this one.
I just put it on the lowest resolution I could that didn't make it too small too play, yet the movement still doesn't work right. I really have no idea why this is happening on this laptop.

Even on the lowest resolution it still shows 5 fps?

It does on floor 12. I went out and tried floor 1. It works like it is supposed to there. Although, the fps on floor 1 changes between 13-20.
Hm... Not really sure then, usually lowering the resolution and putting low quality settings should work fine.
Floor 1 to 7 are fairly simple, so you should be getting a lot more than that there.
You could try updating your GPU drivers if you haven't already, or see if there's something else using your GPU.

Guys is this playable on android using joiplay app?
no

Just checked. My drivers are up to date and nothing else is using GPU. Sigh.

Hey bro, i finally finished playing to your game and it has been very good in general, great artstyle in general and hopefully many extra information or events that seemed really cool or useful in the moment were canonically written from the manga or LN, things that they skipped or didn't show in the anime, aldo i doubled that supposed time mark of 16 and played 34 in just one run( i don't think i'll do more) but that good things and great work aside there's also many things that catched my eye or i didn't like how they were done or not, like for example it was a bit of a bother not having a defense option or that anyone had any magical skill you could use so the MP potions were totally meaningless and the HP potions healed so poorly and were a bit overpriced at first, but later you could get a handful without problems, so late in the game already so kind of bad too. Another aspect i didn't like very much was the standing image of Welf that in comparison of how well were many characters, he had the worst looking portrait, it was like deformated and didn't blend well with the environment. An this i want to finish saying thanks for all this and i would like to know when do you plan of continuing with the story and the game in general because i can't update my status anymore XD.

Defense and dodge are handled with the same function (they're one and the same), as long as your Armor Class is superior, you'll dodge/parry the attack. That's up to you on how you want to roleplay it, although Bell's skills are specifically designed with dodge in mind (like the riposte or feint).

The magic potion exist for the early stages of Bell (When he starts with little MP), and eventually once he gets a lot of Mana, they'll be needed for chanting spells that consume hundreds of MP.
Liliruca's only spell is transformation which is used in the "novel" part, and welf's will-o-wisp hasn't been added yet (it'll be available in the next and final release).
For stronger potions, you need to finish the last quest of the Blue Pharmacy which unlocks elixir (and watered elixir) which heal 100% or 50% of HP accordingly.

Welf's portrait and other graphics are a result of years of changing, experimenting and improving. Hence why the game kind of changes look as you progress, on the last release some characters will get an overhaul, such as Lefiya:

However, not all of them will. Old and outdated sprites will instead be redone for the sequel.

The last release of Legacy of Hestia will be on January, you can read about the current changelog here:

Well, I've been reading about the next update for the game that is planned for January and still some things seems that aren't gonna change but I would to ask you for 2 things, please do something with Liliruca and give her some skill or functionality because in the late game she becomes totally useless, she's so weak and the passives don't anything in battle or out of it and the second one would be great to have more kind of useful items, another shop to buy other things or expanding and adding more usable skills for Bell and the party. Also(please respond to everything) where's the the last orb of the 12th floor? I have the red and green one placed already but it didn't come across a third one and I explored all of them to the fullest. Thank you very much.

Regarding Liliruca, this issue was already solved by doing this (quoted from the changelog linked above):
Changed: Crit Range for Little Ballista decreased to 12.
This means she will do a crit everytime she rolls 12 or above, meaning her damage and chance to hit are higher, but not too much to take a role of a fighter (She's a supporter, and more of an "utility" to motivate in a narrative way how you can climb out of the Dungeon quickly).
Of course if you train her, and once Haruhime adds her buff, she can become quite a lot stronger (as strong as a maxed level 1 can be).

I was also planning to add a skill called "Lead the charge" to raise the companions' hit chance, should I experience any difficulty for teammates to hit monsters during my final testing.

The Blue orb is on the fourth floor, it has two openings (East and West), in one there's a resting point while in the other there used to be a Rock. Once you've started the Quest "Fruit of Arcana", the rock will disappear and it'll allow you access to a chamber where the Blue Orb is.

If the path is still blocked, you need to start the quest by going on floor 7 and speaking to the adventurers letting you know that a new path has emerged on Floor 4.

Ok , now only with giving Mikoto her Gravity Magic to be usable would be mostly everything for now, I also wanted to know more about that sequel you're going to do and how much do you intend on doing because Danmachi is now in season and the plot had advanced a lot and could be great to be able of playing, getting and experiencing everything firsthand and being able to be growing stronger and to get better the more you fight and explore.

You can read about the sequel here:

Current plan is to make a public poll, and let people decide what my next project should be, after my current one (Vox Gremory).

I don't understand or can't, why would do want to change the genre of the game? Like it is now is the perfect representation of the anime and why I liked it so much, making this to be a Dungeon crawler was the best idea so it confuses me(and surely not only me, unless that thing of changing it for a tactics one it's just a mini game, the it wouldn't be any problem). Also 2 years passed already since you did that, so many things could've have changed or included, hearing the people and trying to make the better playable parody sequel possible.
