Really lost as to what the goal here is. After you speak to the cheiftan during the intro, is there meant to be a guide as to what we're meant to be doing? I've talked to every NPC (that's currently possible as some are locked in areas you can't enter for some reason). I read in a guide that Meiri is meant to tell you to collect firewood as a quest but I was never given that quest even when she mentions it. That, and apparently you're meant to meet 5 males and 5 females, but it looks that one or two might be locked behind areas with the lock? How do you progress? Is there another guide somewhere (seeing as the 0.3 might be outdated)? Or is my game bugged?

You talk to Meiri for firewood, do it a few times. Then at the next day start the firewood quest and return to meiri selecting FAIL THE QUEST, it will unlock the rest of the game. Enjoy.
If I ask Abelius about the source code and he agrees(of course) would you be open to work on animations?hello, all I can do as I already said is make animation, regarding the code I think it's better to write to Abelius, he said something about it, he has his own assets. I also work more in blender now.

if i remember he said that he has his own complex code that he wrote himself. Better ask him about more details, also now i can't do animation in spine right now, more focused on Blender.

He said he used a lot of visual scripting. Without his exact plugins and methods it would make it difficult to work in his source, but not impossible.
We already have all the base animations, the only thing missing is a Spine Pro license to properly export these animations. Anyone can mix and match these to numerous sex interactions. Eg LOK Corruption did it with PNG sequences; I'm also stuck with PNG sequences on LOKRC.
We have a capable and talented community, and we all want this to end, but who is willing to work together to properly finish this project?

I would like to, but unfortunately I can’t now due to financial difficulties and time, and I also don’t know scripts and codes very well. I know only animations

I want OpenLOK to be a place where people can easily find and support people like dragonsix, TitleA_A and others that produce any kind of LOK related content.
When I started developing the continuation of LOK (LOKRC), I had this idea of a space where people could build and share Krystal related content. However, I decided to hold off the idea until after the 0.8 version of LOKRC is released.
During development, things got tougher as maintainers started to leave the team. The game's file size started to balloon, and memory issues cropped up because we were using PNG sequences instead of Spine atlases making development even more challenging. So, I basically shifted my life to keep the project alive.
I've improved my game development skills, server infrastructure skills, and crucially project management skills. After saving a bit a of money, I've quit my job and took in person classes in project management, project execution, enterprise management, and agile methodologies. These classes showed me that the idea of OpenLOK is possible given the right management.
Don't get me wrong, OpenLOK and LOKRC is still just a hobby, but it's now taking up about 50% of my life. However, I don't see much of a problem since all the skills I've gained are incredibly valuable and can be applied beyond OpenLOK.
There are a lot of issues with OpenLOK as a whole, but I've managed to navigate through most of them. The only major hurdle now is me not marketing it properly.
I want to finish LOKRC v0.8 and then market OpenLOK as an service to the blue vixen community members and creators, all non-profit and supported by donations. But I need to know if the LOK community in general would want this.
I don't just want to break the curse; I want to subdue it, tame it, and make it my bitch.

I don't know why there's such an insistence on trying to revive this. Continuing this game is complicated when you don't have the same people doing it, especially with the art.
It's better to start something new, in the style of this game, but with its own style. Something other than that bullshit they've been showing for five years that's been getting nowhere.

You got a point. It might be better doing this from scratch, but with these assets in existence means the art part is already done, mostly.

very remember the last 2(that were completed) that came out and looking at their change log took like 5 months to finish

Flash is a PITA to work with, not only is it unoptimized as hell, the tooling needed to develop for it is ancient and proprietary, and also it uses it's own custom proprietary coding language (ActionScript). There are also a total of 0 modern browsers that will load the flash plugin, so a flash projector is required to even use it. Not to mention all the security holes that come with flash.
TL;DR: Flash is not easier to produce with in 2025.
There really arent a whole lot of "simple" engines like flash anymore though. So there really is not many good alternatives.
Godot I would say is pretty good choice but alas.

If something new ever comes from another author, great, but it's clear these people never cared about making a game; they cared about making money. Just look at each of their new projects—it's a bottomless pit of money.
