Pretty sure it's a new take on the thing from II where you could whore out Opala, Osira, and Farah, but now expanded to include every woman in the group.
Which...is actually a cool idea, except the example character they use is Elin, and holy shit. Elin's already blown you, at least, but thus far can't be done with the tent mechanic, out of fear of her mom (who also can't be done with the tent mechanic and still doesn't have a consensual sex scene) finding out. And Swegabe is using her as the example character for the "you pimp out the girls" minigame? (She acknowledges it's just a placeholder, and says "most" characters, but still.) If people were complaining in the past about the main character not getting to fuck characters first, I'm not sure I wanna know how angry it'll make them if the half-dozen women a player character still can't have sex with on demand are getting pimped out by that same character.
It also seems to be related to the "vial of ambrosia" item unlockable with golden tokens, which allows "your girls to give a better performance with their clients." Thus far that would have only seemed to be related to the drinking game, making it of minimal use, but it probably applies to this as well, giving them a stat boost or something for whichever act they're doing, which would in turn increase the...
Actually, aside from presumably getting money, which most long-term players probably don't need even if they don't use an editor, I'm not sure what this is supposed to do for the player and/or player character? Like, in II, the main thing was you could see their attitudes change (if slightly) over time and get new pictures, somewhere between a still and a full CG. And that's nice I guess but it's still a diversion; it feels very much like a "you've won, now settle in as the King of Big Swingin' Dick Mountain" thing, instead of progress towards actually finishing the game. Unless it also has some connection to the tent mechanic, like the dialog from doing certain things with them changes as they level up the different acts?
On the bright side, it is apparently going to be the final minigame/side thing they're adding, so maybe they'll be finished by the time the year is out. HA.
