...and by the time the game would reach its final release, MV will already be seen as an ancient relic of the past...
As for the artists - I'm pretty sure that at least Sparrow fans are surely gonna be disapointed if his art were to be cut from the game.

MV runs on HTML, CSS, JS, JSON which are the essential core of the web, even years later on.
So rebuilding this shit into MV would be a better idea, even if MV engine is old, the languages it runs on are not, and it's still possible to improve the game with tons of plugins.
The only difficulty would be that MV uses .ogg file format for sound, instead of .mp3 like XP. And the resolution of the textures, XP textures size is smaller, tho I think this would be easy to deal with since now we have ton of upscaling tools, both non-AI and AI tools (CG wouldnt be a problem since the original CG are HQ af).
Oh and maybe one other is the dev is lazy af, and doesnt want to waste time even though this work is super ez. Or mf doesnt know how to use MV and tools to convert the resources lmfao.
Remember mofo took a whole week off just because of catching a cold and sneeze a bit.
So if this ever happens then it would be made by a random hardcore diehard fan who is rich and has too much time to waste and decided to waste hours of their life on a project that they dont even earn anything from it.....except some praise from other random horny mfs on internet.
