question is the screen supposed to be this dim...before anyone asked everything else on my laptop looks good and the screen only started becoming dimmer when i reached this area and hasn't changed since then

Alright, I think I have a decent game concept for a management sim now that might work, and a couple of story premises:

1: You start out in Colussia as you do in Origins, and instead request a brothel or strip club as your reward, alongside retiring.

2: Alternative concept, the game is set in Egypt. Continues from the evil ending of the first game, with the hero as Pharaoh, having enslaved all three of the royal girls. To break their wills once and for all, you'll force them to be your whores.

3. in the kingdom the second game is set. You find the royal Egyptian trio as they drop in, decide to make them sell their bodies.

Another part of the idea being that whoring them out gains you easy cash and breaks them faster as they do filthy things, but it affects their prestige. Escorting missions gain you more money but are harder to get, especially if your girls are low prestige, but they can get you connections that can be useful. Keeping a girl as yours gives you a lot of personal prestige and you could possibly even romance them, but you lose out on a source of income.

I guess for Osira it would be footjobs.

I dont know why i had a mindfuck idea of a soul calibur-kof-like game with the egypt trio team:

Farah - Seong Mi-na moveset - Halberd
Opala - Yun-seong moveset - Chinese Sword
Osira - Ivy moveset - Snake Sword
Devon (MC) - Cervantes or Siegfried movesets - Longsword & Pistol or Zweihander

Checked out the sim brothel wiki, and it looks similar to slave maker 3, so I think I get the gist of where you're headed gameplay wise. Maybe do some light area/building upgrades with a simple tech tree to specialize in certain areas. Like sex, tease, etc.

Yeah, though I personally feel the one where it's set in game 2 is the weakest, while the one where you are pharaoh is probably the most interesting. It also makes it easier to justify bringing in girls from the other games, story wise.

Yeah, upgrading the area and building. I was thinking skill trees for the girls too, maybe some parts of them becoming unlockable through quests/story initiatives by the player.

I'm having a big-ass problem.
I had to re-download the game and start from scratch. But, as soon as I get to the Darkthorn Keep part and step in one of the traps, the game crashes. Same thing when I get to the part of the levers you have to move in order to open the doors. As such, I can't move forward in the game and I wanted to know if there's a way to fix that.

I've only gotten as far as having Farah join my party and I've come across a strange issue. For some reason everytime her health is too low or gets knocked out she gets stuck in her defeated pose. I've tried healing her, sleeping at an inn but her pose is just stuck like that. I also have the improvement mod installed, might that have anything to do with this?

Download the improvement mod again. The bug is fixed in the new version.

Try changing her outfit in the tent area and check again

Change her outfit, or purchase a sewing kit from travelling seamstress to repair clothes.

I think this was one of the "features" that should have been skipped. Or at least, resting restore the status like it did before.

I'm at the golem on the bridge after meeting the mayor but get my ass kicked everytime. I
ve spent hours into grinding and am at LV16 for most characters but can't make iit across, getting one shot wtf how do I progress?

You need to either Level up more, maybe to LV20 , but maybe check your equipment also, buy/make better armour and weapons that's al you really can do.
As you can not progress until you beat the golem

I think lvl 16 is kinda light for that battle!
It's the first hard one you meet in the game.

Do what I did and cheat your ass off because RPGM combat and grinding through this game both suck harder than Laquadia in the church scene.

well i play to many rpgs in my life so i am use to grinding. that's the hole thing about these game's you got to get lvls to beat bosses and other strong monster's. same with all rpgs becuase a lvl 1 never going to last long vers stronger monster's. if people hate grinding then rpgs are not your game. i do not mean to sound angry are upset but this is what these games are like.

I usually grind areas until I have the vanquisher title for all the monsters in the area.
