The gifts are supposed to be for post story to get affection points from the girls if you didn't make any choices to raise the affection during the story.
open the game.ini in the main game folder and change Library=RGSS102E.dll to Library=RGSS104E.dll
Worked well for me.
Is this game ever going to be marked as complete or is SweGabe always going to be developing this game? I enjoyed the other two queen opala games but I only like to play games that are complete that way I don't have to keep checking to see if a game added a few new scenes. Is the main story done at least so I can play through the story without having to wait for a update.

I've been a long time fan of the game myself and even I can't wait for a proper ending.
Anyway regarding the porn theater thing, I'm honestly pretty excited for this. Though I think what I'd prefer is ending now and then add the extras later but eh.

You get Beatrix instead of Kristallia if you choose her to play the tavern wench challenge at Queen's Landing to return to Port Ronod for the first time.

Agreed, the majority of the things we've been getting that isn't main story content should be saved for after the game is completed imo.
I actually disagree about this.
Once a thing is labeled as "done", it's done. Finished. Next project.
If you save things for when a project is completed, it starts getting more and more tempting to just start a new project instead of finagling on one that's already supposed to be over.
Oh yeah, those fishing minigame, tavern wench overhaul, map reworks and now a fucking cinema - are all such important features, a game would never be complete without them.
Who needs main plot or sex scenes when we have a Fishing Minigame, am I right?

It wouldn't surprise me if/when the story does complete and Gabe puts out a Golden Edition like the week immediately after and never returns to it.
Eh I mean I've seen plenty of finished games on this site where the creator goes back and adds content.
And the thing with LoQO O is just because the story is over doesn't mean Gabe can't add "DLC" tier content, like add a new post-game area ala Persona 4 Golden/Persona 5 Royal.
Make a post-game scenario featuring Jake and Kai and other characters from the previous game. So many ideas. Now we're getting porn movies added, which would be a banger of a post game story once Colussia is liberated where your girls can make porn movies without the main story impacting why they'd be doing that and etc.
