I think it largely depends on what you mean by explicit. The Western version is done by Sparrow, and if you ever visit his page he's known for his extreme content. He has a more cartoony style so he can get away with more extreme stuff. On the other hand the Eastern version tends to lean towards proportionate models with more details and a far more anime style to it, the kind of thing you'd expect from a VN.
Not going to be that guy that tells you one is better than the other because variety is good and if you're like me you're going to do multiple plays (levels carry over when you get the item to restart the game) so you're likely select different arts as you go. But anyway, an example of Western and Eastern respectively:
Do note that the Eastern artist will be replaced soon enough for reasons relating to their work ethic and we don't know who the replacement will be. Also, regardless of choice, Sparrow (top artist) will be the artist for the in-game trading cards regardless.
