Cue game number 2.

Makes the transition to the second game easy and isnt out of place at all in how they all feel about him.

This is MC's actual fetish, in his own words. When you are arguing otherwise, i think you might be projecting your own preferences (NTS?) on him and ignoring his actual personality and words.

Regarding the conversation, you have it now as a choice early on:



Either the gf knows that MC gets off on these things and is happy to play along, including the humiliation etc, or she doesn't know and just cheats on the MC and enjoys humiliating him "for real". But either way it is the experience the MC likes and chooses to perpetuate, potentially by "playing dumb" on the NTR route.

She no longer sleeps with him, no longer going on dates with him not even spend anytime with him all his "friends" are hanging out without him and just sending him pictures of the stuff they are doing. Right now he is no longer her boyfriend he might as well be just her correspondence buddy.

Pretty much this. This whole thing feels like NTR epilogue the dude is pretty much not important for anyone nymore they pretty much replace him with Micheal in every sense.

Anything other than a total re-write of the game as is will just amount to gaslighting - And I dont want that. I want the story to acknowledge and resolve that the MC is surrounded by people that actually fuckin' hate his guts and are just using him for their gratification while gaslighting him into thinking it's the reverse.

Would be better if it was just a kinetic novel based on that if OP is incapable/unwilling to actually make and manage split routes (understandable, its a lot of work. but make that decision, this stupid thin veneer claiming to be a 'route' just hurts the story.)

You are basically arguing that a masochist in relationship with a sadist should break it up because "it's not a relationship of any kind and it's toxic". I would argue that he doesn't enjoy it. Thinks its hot? Sure. But he clearly does have issue with her cheating on him, on an emotional level. Its the difference between a fantasy and just being straight lied to and manipulated.

You can see the hint on choice buttons in that screenshot. If you tell the friend yes, she will inform the girlfriend about MC's fetish and you get a a little gentler, NTS-like path where the girlfriend puts on a cheating act. (that is to say, she fucks the other guy(s) but it's with consent from MC) If you keep MC's kink a secret then you get regular NTR path, with girlfriend actually cheating on MC, while MC pretends not to realize what's going on because he gets off on what the gf is doing.

I totally agree with you. It's not about the genre of the game itself, it's about the main character reactions.
He agreed to something but the thing he has as a Gf overstepped every boundary, doesn't even show him an ounce of respect by her actions, she's a liar, a cheater and he's the king of the doormats, barely reacting to obvious rules being broken.
