I played that game a while ago and it's the perfect example of that, if you don't have corruption you won't have anything, you can't even start a lesbian route without it.

OK, If I'm not messing up your description too much, this is what is going on with the lesbian routes:

The FMC has to "happen to" witness other girls having sex with each other to "awake" her sapphic side, or she remains her virginity or auctions out it to men by "precariously peeping" a breed party.

Though it has something to do with that naive fancy of virgin girl, the lesbian route is still existing and optional, despite unnatural depicted.

What I majorly concern is that fewer lesbian routes will be on schedule. Having vanilla lesbian routes by unlocking "corruption" side is a way out (not as wise as it is supposed to be, or, say, desired to be), but if lesbian itinerary is not a focus any longer, main energy devoted to bg scenes, then I have to doubt whether it should be on the list

Really? It's such a disappointment, the game looks really good and I like the type of FMC goes to Japan but if what you said is true then she's more like a voyeur than the protagonist. Reading that the dev is a man, everything that's said is meaningless. The overview is written like it's a vanilla story with FMC exploring her sexuality with the characters but idk why corruption is necessary because it doesn't belong there. Idk what's with men and their obsession with corruption of women.

I would love a positive corruption game where the mc learns to embrace her sexuality. Like for example: have her go to sex parties, have her learn that sex can be enjoyed casually and platonically as she starts banging her friends, hell you can even have her whoring herself out as long as it's not treated as being morally corrupt or demining but empowering and fun instead.

But, as it stands, most of the devs who write corruption games are red pillers who'd be way to creepy to ever be let into a sex party (at least not the cool ones), can't have friends they are physically attracted to, and don't see sex workers as humans.

I agree with you. For me another problem with it, though, is that it's become trite and overused.

So first of all, it's not like the way you make it sound (at least for me), it's that I want to specifically see women getting corrupted because they are women and I am a man, there is no real powerplay taking place. To be more clear, I don't play those game for male domination or because I have a male domination fetish (all the contrary actually, I tend to avoid those).

What I like about corruption, is seeing someone either with strong convictions or innocent losing control and falling for something they have no control over. Or do they?

In some games or stories, they have some level of control or even the ability to fight back.

So it's more about the the ability to deal with someone's arrogance or opening someone's mind to thing they wouldn't or wouldn't be aware about otherwise. But I also like stories or game or whatever where the character resists or has the ability to resist and fight back (and don't get corrupted in the end).

There's also a sexual corruption which is again real and it's usually abusing of power of authority like doing sexual favours in exchange for personal gain. Both are illegal. Most games however have "an innocent virgin become a nymphomaniac" type of corruption.

the only time I've seen it half well done was curiously for the lesbian route of a game, you don't need corruption to sleep with a girl, but you do when you want to do something against morality, in that case you needed corruption to sleep with a minor to which the protagonist took care of and gave her private lessons.

Yeah, that tag is mostly used to mean "humiliation and degradation", as tons of those games are centered around humiliating or punishing a woman, and/or "forcing" her to do things she doesn't want to do. Honestly, most feel more like "revenge porn" than actual moral corruption.

Also, sex=corruption for women... eew.

The thing with those female-protagonist corruption games is a lot of them have this weird binary split between a corruption route with blackmail, rape, mind control, cheating, drugs, bla bla bla, classic retard in Lechertown crap, and a virgin route. Very common in Japanese games and western games that imitate them.

The western alternative is between the straight corruption route and a more normal lesbian route. And maybe a virgin route.

Oh and the plots often don't just suck, but they lack any stakes because of how pointless "winning" is compared to losing.
