The bible once said: "God made us in his own image" so there are still more hidden fetishes only God knows which we will inevitably discover in the (hopefully) nea- late future...
It's probably just a lack of resources thing, Koikatsu is far from unlimited, you only have what Illusion put into the game and studio assets and what modders put into the game and studio assets which, to be honest, isn't all that much. Don't get me wrong, both did fine work for what they set out to do, there just isn't all that big of a selection.
No, that usually only happens when the game gets voice acting and similar sound assets thrown in, which are dangerously expensive and far out of reach of a 'one man studio relying on Patreon and SubscribeStar' budget even if it is Selebus we're talking about. With Renpy games, the majority of sound assets are royalty free, which is mostly music, maybe some sound effects here and there that the developer might run across, and usually not voice lines.
Not really. Her intro event was almost entirely interactions with Sensei, with her being somewhat rude to the filming crew only after their sudden reunion, which understandably unbalanced her. She even interrupts her rant for a second to inquire whether Ami is alright.
Really? Getting frustrated at everything and taking it out on the staff at her photoshoot isn't stereotypical celebrity like? She did that before she even noticed him, though only just, then things got interesting to say the least.
Possibly, but we will never know it is until it happens. Selebus isn't exactly known to confirm or deny theories prior to the point at which an event the theory was about comes into the game. At that point, it is too late for said theories to be an issue, then it becomes an issue someone has with the game itself.
Yeah, Io's not great either. And Yasu seems to have been assigned white as her text color (based on her introductory appearance) so obviously something will have to be done to accommodate that.
ETA:
I tried adding outlines to Io, Touka, Yasu, and Yuki's names to improve readability, but I'm not entirely sold on the result: View attachment 1177414
Remember that Ami is into him too, it is entirely possible they had something and that triggered this angry god. Obviously they didn't go all the way since she was a virgin in her first penetration scene, but they may have done some things. I think Maya is the focal point of the loops because she did something that caused them, this leads back to an early theory of mine, I think from before we hit 0.8.0, where she did something as part of an attempt to bring him back after the 'jump' occurred. My theory at that time had Ami as the one who caused the 'jump' at the beginning due to her extreme possessiveness. This could have caused a distortion in the timeline that resulted in time looping on itself (bear with me, I'm working off a very limited and very fiction-based understanding of how time works, mostly Star Trek). As a result of her interference, she is the one depicted when player Sensei goes into the majority of 'happy' scene events. It could also be a remnant of an old memory that triggered this 'happy' scene depiction of Maya, which is entirely possible if they were in a romantic relationship. This is a more realistic and more likely possibility than the 'interfering with time' thing. This is, of course, assuming that there is real time manipulation going on and it isn't just in his head. In that case, it is more likely the memory thing and some mental breakdown going on that Maya, a lover he might have had at some point prior to the 'jump,' doesn't want to get worse. She's obviously suffering because of something related to him. At this point, it is still too early to tell exactly what is going on. We have a much clearer picture of how everything happened, but too few pieces of the puzzle to put it together.
Hm ok. Sorry but i dont see them being related. At least not by blood.
I dont know either how Noriko might know about Sensei and Maya.
Maybe it was one of the only information she was able to gather about him. Given her personality she could be the archetype of a stalker.
I think that has something to do with Sensei getting broken every time he dives too deep into his past. That's why she tries subtle approach and goes mad when Noriko just dups lore on Sensei without any consequences.
This much is pretty much confirmed.
I think it's Sensei's own doing, a failsafe. He wanted to be free from whatever heavy shit was in his life and just fuck around with girls in infinite loops. His memories always lurks just beyond the surface, enough to remember tastes and have general statements like "I've always...", but dive too deep and he goes bananas.
I used to think that Maya was Sensei's daughter, now I think she's a sister of a woman, that Sensei was really in love with and that eventually married a man Sensei felt deeply inferior to, his own brother. That kinda explains her attitude towards Noriko. They were in similar situations, a competitors, rivals.

You are remembering the event wrong. The only thing she has done at the photoshoot before noticing Sensei was recite the slogan and warn Noriko not to interrupt her. No taking out anything on the staff at all.

That definitely helps, I can make out their names and stats with the outlines.

Valid arguments all around.
Mods like that tend to need quite a bit of editing per update.
Okay, there is a lot of arguments here, and as I do not want to quote every author I will just quote you Alex, since you quoted them anyway. You guys all forget about one thing in this Sensei-theory argument. I will explain in spoiler below:

Hey, you can check the Wiki to see how to begin new events which you haven't yet completed. Some of them have very specific requirements to start them, so it'll help you out when you are stuck
