Awwww that was actually kinda sweet other than Ami bringing one of my suspicions into the light. As soon as some of that part was first revealed about him, I always had that suspicion that it was the case but now I'm even more suspicious of it. Though it also might confirm something else, who the person Ami talks to is... which might have been hinted at before actually but I'm not certain.
I don't get it. Something about a location and something about a mountain entrance or something?

The author's belief is that it's all bad and the people who want to do these things are all bad people.
The prevailing belief among the people who do these things with teenagers is that teenagers are okay, but kids are not. He counters with "that line is bullshit"
So he gives us a story that initially seems to play into that belief. We get a bunch of girls who clearly have some form of childhood trauma and help them work through it! Aren't we great! I hope they all touch my penis out of gratitude!
But we're already seeing the cracks in the facade, aren't we? Makoto goes from being passively depressed to actively suicidal after sleeping with her teacher. Chika is going insane. Sekai tells us in Stomachache that we are perpetuating the cycle -- by crossing that line with Io, we doom her to becoming the monster her mother was. Miku nearly dies because while she's a teenager, her body was too small and underdeveloped for the task. In a scene that nearly everyone misread, we get a scene playing up how innocent and pure Karin is right before Akira terrorizes her, taking that innocence away from her forever.
We aren't playing out an ephebophilic fantasy. We're watching a man slowly destroy 35 lives. Okay, 34, probably, I'm not sure an eldritch horror's life can be ruined, exactly.

I mean i wanna respond to this on the context that, it's a video game and these aren't real people so alot of us run those routes understanding that fact while still personally pending user, feeling uncomfortable, yet understanding the purpose behind making us feel uncomfortable -- Edgy writing.

We've gone over those Selebus' comments in the past and, without rehashing the whole thing, he's just being intellectually bankrupt (what a surprise). Obviously there is a difference between an adult having sex with a teenager and with a child. The law states it to be so. Is it all wrong? Well, any sane person would say that it is in most cases. But it's not impossible for an adult and a 16 year old to develop a healthy relationship over the years. It's just not something to recommend or praise. My point is, they don't equate - and Selebus isn't idiotic enough to not know that. He's just being a dick.

Imo the big difference comes already from teens knowing what this is about, or at least they can know what it means. A wizard has no idea what it is, what it means or anything. And that is already such a huge difference that i have no idea how someone seriously can even think they are the same.

My guess is that he does know the difference in severity between having sex with highschoolers and wizards; it'd be insane not to understand. But that's not the reason why he should avoid including wizard content at all costs if he believes his story wouldn't be complete without them. However, his comeback argument apparently sucks as much as perhaps the argument from people that begged him not to implement wizard content if their sole rationale is just "having sex with a wizard is illegal".
TLDR: What I see is a "You can't tell me what to do this is MY GAME" attitude.
I'm... hating myself for even considering it. But am I fine with this being the one red event? I'm mad that this choice is one that is making me think like this. I don't want to think about this in a completionist manner but...
god this game makes me feel too many emotions but right now it's making me mad, why is this the one time where I'm going out of my way to make the "good" decision. Why this time and not any of the other reprehensible acts I've allowed for the sake of a different looking piece of text in a menu.

So yeah, Pareidolia was probably involved in that too. Which isn't a surprise, but hey, I'm replaying it and seeing it first hand again. Which begs a different question in that, if Pareidolia was ever just something he could put the blame on, maybe this really was all Akira? (Lavender's Green, 1999 PC CLASSIC, and the Karin assault?).

I assume he's talking about it from a "this is a game where you bang students, why is the line here" point of view, as opposed to a "this is fine actually" point of view.

You should consider making a save at the choice, playing through the event itself to see the dialogue, then deciding if you can live with it or not (while also giving yourself a chance to come back to it later). It's not quite "Sensei takes what he wants" and the way the scene ends at home shows that quite well.
Advantage of taking this long to get to that point, you don't have to wait for 6 months to see if there's any sort of payoff. All the feasible aftereffects of the event are in the game now (Everything related to Stomachache should be over after 0.45's end, the halloween reset which unsets the ioblock flag meaning you can go to her in the sandbox).
Besides, if you've been paying attention to the discussion in the past two pages you'd know Stomachache might be getting replaced as the big bad event in a couple of hours
Hm, i dont know, he still blamed himself quite enough, so it was a very ineffective scapegoat at best.
