Ami melting scene and The Room with Clocks is the most revoltings events in the whole game imo. I literally wanted to puke after pushing to The Room with Clocks on my first day. So yeah I pity every player who has or shall suffer from it. I think Sel was just doing to make beginning radical to create gimmicks. It wasn't that repulsing before remake of Chapter 1 as far as I know.
Though I'd say you'll inevitably miss them if you keep playing. Those haunting first feelings never came back later for me. Good luck, you will get used to and see the truth behind them.
I would say Yumi but I still maintain I would rather see her hugged than fucked. So I'll have to choose someone else.
Thinking of someone else:
-Crazy Nodoka comes to mind far more immediately than I would like.
-Then Maki, Hot, is fun, I like her long hair with blue bow far too much, (and will call you old sport if you want).
-And Yuki, for reasons that I can't quite pinpoint.
So maybe Ami has an ability that lets her get fragmented visions of possibly both the past and present when she closes her eyes? (what she calls nightvision). It would be a sort of Nodoka's fragmented memories, just to a much higher degree. That would explain her "knowing" everything and not knowing it at the same time, since even the things she "knows" would amount to visions born of dreams, and maybe she either doubts them or straight up chooses to ignore them as born of lunacy.
Aditionally, have we have ruled that the old school is definitely out of Kumon-mi? And if so, is the old school the school not only of Sara, but also of the cast from the previous game? It would make sense that it wouldn't be in Kumon-mi, since they don't know what Kumon-mi is. This is from the later part of the event, and maybe the place Maya goes from time to time is there, since that's where she takes Akira? Why and how Maya is able to go somewhere out of Kumon-mi at will is a big question though. As is a big question to what alt Maya Prime did when Ayane and Yumi got to the roof to meet with HOPE the peerless. Maybe Maya's keeping something there? But the boxes are under the school, so what?
And this marks day 2 of speeding through this game. I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface. 6912 characters worth of reaction text this time around.
They get so much worse... it's why i remained silent whilst everyone else was trying to convince you the game was worth trying... i feel like everyone should be of a mind to simply save new players from this game, for all it's positives it does come with some noticeable drawbacks... the worst of which is this persistent inability to fucking drop it... the happy events suck, they're confusing and usually require stupid guessing and fiddling to break out of and i often hate being hooked on this game because of them... but damn the story is engrossing... the characters so endearing... i'd fault no one suggesting others give it a try, but i just can't do it myself... my opinion is always going to be "Fly, you fools".
Honestly I always look at the Python code to get the answers, its actually fast and easy. You just gotta use a text search to search for phrases in surrounding conversations in the .rpy files. Make sure to only search .rpy extension or it will be too slow(at least on wood PC).
I can finish Happy Events in maybe 10min with this method.

Ah, yeah dude, that's what we regulars already do, eventually one of us puts out a guide but most of us are too impatient to wait and so we just do it ourselves... still sucks.
That time in the game when the compulsion Nodoka explained first started being heavily foreshadowed (because there are other events during that time that also start talking about it):
So maybe Ami has an ability that lets her get fragmented visions of possibly both the past and present when she closes her eyes? (what she calls nightvision).
Okay, I just went and translated the text and hex decimal text. "am i okay" and "goodbye". I haven't done this previously with other text but I doubt it was important...
You may want to have a hex translator bookmarked, but you might also want to look up the event on the wiki. Not sure how easy it is to find the event name with autovn, guide mod makes it easy enough with normal play.
The wiki has most of the translations done, even for messages that only appear for one frame
Maya claims the tsundere role is already taken... but whom tho? Yumi? I highly doubt it. I only see one potential candidate and that's Makoto but when you look at Makoto's behavior, you also realize that she's also one of the few girls who are that interested in him, so that just kinda... defeats the whole purpose of the tsundere role too. So that really only leaves Yumi and Maya and I don't see any implication that Yumi is secretly pretending not to like him. Maya is the only one whose shown signs so far between them. It would have helped tremendously if the dev nudged in an example of who Maya was referring to with that tsundere claim. Anyone knows?
Definitely Yumi. You might not have seen enough Yumi yet between start of the game and Autovn. But Sensei does make a point that she blushes a lot when they argue. And she lets Sensei get away with a lot for someone she wants to die. Just like Maya
Makoto just hasn't had enough screen time to bloom. She's quite the opposite after a certain point.
You'll be sent some unprompted as you progress, but events will happen like Makoto's Dildo and if you pay attention you can get some extra phone lore immediately after the event ends and you reach the next menu / event.
So yeah, Otoha ever obsessed with Akira's girlfriends and even singing about them potentially. Also fuck you, Otoha. Not even being a martyr would save you for me.
