Again, I don't want to spoil, so I'll say this:well......do you think the main character of this game is more of a person with kind and correct values, or someone whose thoughts are heavily influenced by desire? What is their sense of morality like? I hope MC won’t ignore the player’s choices and hurt other female characters (hopefully)
LiL is a game about a seriously fucked up person trying to deal with incomprehensible trauma, and his successes and failures. I can't tell you how to judge him or any other character in the game, but that's the point. It asks questions. It asks questions that are hard and uncomfortable and fucked up. But that's the point, in many ways.
Is sensei a good person: objectively, no, he is not. Is he trying to get better and find better morals? Probably? I mean, that's part of the question the game asks. It isn't a light game in any way, and it isn't for anyone that isn't ready to tackle questions that are generally too divisive for most media.
But that is part of the beauty of LiL. Its asking questions that are usually hidden and censored and watered down. And its messy and uncomfortable and some scenes will make you grimace at having to make a choice! And if that isn't your jam, more power to you! But if you want to confront situations that will legitimately make even the most calloused person take pause, then proceed forward. But never feel bad for saying "This is my limit, I'm done with this." either.
EDIT:
Care Packages are basically non-cannon extras, and if you don't install them into your LiL folder, they won't fuck up anything. If you go through all the content in the base game, and want a few extra tidbits, just download them and open them in a separate folder and check out the contents.I was a bit shocked earlier, but I think it’s time to explore it seriously. So, DRM is not something that necessarily has to be downloaded and used, right? Do those extra contents affect the main storyline of the game in any way?
