Some of the events are gated, yes. Some factors that might gate you are: The day of the week, the amount of total days passed, whether or not you’ve seen a specific event.
One that people seem to miss out on quite often is the one titled “Missing,” ironically enough. In order to get that main event, Rin’s level 15 cafe event must be played first.
The main gated event for 040 is Scientific Research, but there are others thrown in as well.

i seem to have all events in the tracker, i was just wondering since I'm notoriously using console commands and want to avoid skipping events in the future. This and the fact some people keep playing despite having seen everything already to grind the values i cheat.

Love the game so far. Wish there were more lewd scenes with the girls I like but with so many I can expect that to take its time.
My only real issue is that I think the event tracker needs to be combined with a hint system to help us tell why we don't have that one event.

I didn't think I'd would become so attached to a porn game but I actually marked the release of 040 in my calender. The story simply leaves me wanting more. The dialogue is funny, the characters well written and the air of something being very wrong keeps me hooked. Hats off.

Whats up with Backwards Spider Crawl? Its colored differently, and I have yet to discover a trigger.
Does anyone else think Sensei's body is too big for his head? Like, he has this big buff body and this tiny baby head on top lol. The character design for all of the girls is incredibly good; his is the only one that looks kinda wonky. Just my opinion.
