I mean he recently said that the Chika Sensei talk had to happen sooner than he'd like because it wouldn't make sense for her character to ignore it. So I guess that's why.

That's fair, but I would put some weight into the idea that the writer makes the character, but cannot always decide their actions.
A good character is one with definible traits, ideas, and goals. Making them act against this would hurt them badly.

But this is Lessons in Love, we have horrors beyond comprehension and magic mind control fuckery.

I'm sure he could think of something, it just might be unpleasant.

Another way to understand this is that Selebus simply doesn't know where his story will go, which raises several flags in multiple ways.

Well, since I wrote some stories, I can tell that, sometime, the end may change from what I had in mind at the beginning.
Of course, it depend of the story, and the length of it, but for me, it's something «normal».

Or, not that alarming...

I mean, for example, when I planed writing a short story (3 - 4 pages only), about how people lives with a post-war trauma, I finished with an entire story of 150 pages.

So you're telling me Russian highschools are filled with Russian Yumis..... I was born in the wrong country.

Not all of them are "Yumis" but there's a lot that would resemble the cute and rude girl that wanders around town aimlessly because... well, Russia has a lot of poor areas, and even in the big cities like Moscow some are of poor families and they inevitably get sucked into the life of a rascal, it's kind of a culture thing and I guess it got a bit romanticized.

Based on personal experience though, I used to go to an "Elite School" despite the fact that I wasn't from a rich family, I was relatively middle class so I ended being one of the poorest kids there, and in my case I had a lot of "Makotos", "Karins", "Ayanes" and even "Kirins" (yes... there were a few hoes and I remember one in particular who wouldn't leave me alone)
So I didn't really know anybody that was similiar to Yumi. The one and only girl I ever liked did resemble Rin a lot, sometimes it feels like they are the same person...

Long story short if you went to a normal Russian school chances are you would indeed find a few girls similiar to Yumi.

Has he or his idiot crowd talked about what exactly this fanfest is? Fan-requested, non-canonical, holiday special-ish events, but officially rendered by the man himself? Just a folder full of literal fan arts? A Sensei-Quest alpha build where sexing Himawari is implemented? Like, what exactly?

A month long care package from what I've seen, and it's going to become a yearly thing I think.

And if it is I'm not that against it honestly. I'm assuming this update is still happening on schedule, and I wasn't sitting here waiting for any upcoming chains in the way I was waiting for the 3 event long Uta and Yumi chains in the update where someone new should be making sexual progress due to everyone* not having had sexual progress yet.

Only upcoming stuff that's interesting me right now is the dorm wars because some catharsis causing thing might happen at the afterparty (like Noriko, Touka or Rin sex progress) and the Maya winter outfit shopping trip which might herald the return of the mall. Otherwise it's going to be a year long scenic grind, and the fest seems more interesting than everything but the next beach trip.


Only dangerous thing I can think that might happen is related to the DRM. Either new DRM, or people getting hit by it when the free DLC update comes from the website while the fest is active. I'd hope he does something about it, it's likely to hit people not on this website.

Of all the things he’s done, this has to be up there with the scummiest of cash grabs, though the voters are as much to blame or more, honestly.

Unless he makes some actual original (or at least touched up) animations or content, this is literally the easiest cash grab of a month possible, since he just uses stock KK animations and poses anyways. And why not make it annual, so he can have a free month of cash every year, while simultaneously slowing down an already ludicrously long development cycle? Great job, LiL discord.
