Day 40 character count 19653. Fuuuuuuuuuuuck... What a fucked up day. So many things happened and I don't even get to feel relief by the end of it.

Did you got caught in a reset or played it twice the same day? Because both are day 40 and start at day 522 but one ends at 527 and the other 540. Nodoka getting ready to drop to hell at that tier list xdd Surprised that she's not at Kirin level when they both did something horrible. And lastly and most important Maya is going up

I'm more in the mindset of not really caring about spoilers as much as most people because for one, I don't like surprises.
But mainly, it's the WAY that the story reaches the conclusion/reveal/whatever that holds the most significance to me.
Yeah that's basically how I approach any sort of "content". I hear about spoilers and like seeing how things reached that point. I downloaded the game at 0.37, found a green path save probably by LessonsinDissonance, heard about SAD THING after a while, found it in event viewer and was hooked. Found out about the high ayane love stuff and decided I wanted those in my playthrough, stretched that out when the Sensei Quest grinding came out to try go for everything big like that (though the shampoo being removed soon afterwards shut that one down) and then Moonflare's replay gave me the push to start the grind.

I'm tired of referring to them by that because it makes communication harder and I would like to know what they refer to themself.
Yeah. It is annoying, I get it.

Sadly, using "they" as a generic singular pronoun in English goes back at least five hundred years. Our parts of speech are largely genderless--which is a blessing and a curse--except for pronouns. So not knowing Sel (though I'm getting a strong he/him vibe from everything I've read), they is kinda what we're stuck with.

Day 41 character count 17489.

Io... is a riddle wrapped in a puzzle inside an enigma. At least the enigma is a cute one. (You will get to the center. It won't necessarily be as cute as the outside, though.)

English sucks!

But damn, this is the only language that unites all of us here. Though everyone will like to use their native language more, I believe (aside for those who was born in USA, UK and other Englisj-speaking countries).

Yes, I really prefer my language, I'm glad I found a site where they are sending the translation of lessons in love in my native language. The bad thing is that there is a 15 to 20 day difference between the release date here.

Unfortunately, they don't have a community tab like here for people to chat, but I think it's ok, I like the theories and talking to the people here.

I tried making one to sort out my thoughts on the characters but I kept waffling on whether I should be judging them based on whether I like them, whether they would be nice solo routes for Sensei, or whether they're interesting narratively. Don't think I even settled on one in the end.

Yeah I've heard a bit here and there about some of the easter eggs, I will most likely begin seeking them out myself after I'm caught up.
My current goals are
1. Get current so I can not worry about spoilers and be active in discussions of new updates
2. Then do a quick scan through all the post history here and see if there are any interesting theories/discussions I missed
3. Start a new playthough and dive a bit deeper

Page twenny fah hunnit
50k get should be full game saves request
Explain. Like just a safe file that's ready for the next update? That comes out close to update day, just people who show up randomly suck and I don't like finding saves for them when they can lurk moar instead.

Good catch. I've went ahead and corrected the mistake across the board. Everything should be aligned correctly now. I've already commented on why Nodoka didn't go to Kirin tier. The severity of what Yumi did was worse than what Ayane did and Yumi is likely both used to the hardship and is a generally dislikable character FROM THE IN-GAME CHARACTERS perspective and by logic. Kirin also received similar treatment back in the day where she dropped a few levels and then did it again and dropped to the bottom. Judging by what I've heard tho and a very concerning spoiler line I may have read but didn't know the context of, she may drop to Kirin tier and worse. Now that I think about it, I don't think Maya has done anything hostile like Kirin and Nodoka for example. She doesn't want the attention on herself and that naturally means safe climbing.

Technically, the correct «genderless» singular pronoun we have in english will be «it»... but, apparently, we shouldn't use it for people.
So, being an old egalitarian asshole, I consider everyone as a male on the internet.

Some may be upset, but, hey, at least I treat you as my equal.

Again, fair. Matador was at least an actual response to something someone else had done (Yumi’s bullying of Futaba), instead of just being Nodoka inflicting the games in her head on other people (cf, everything else she does).

And I have no objection your honor; I won't defend for Nodoka's righteousness when there is none in a case like this, let alone endorse the level of revenge she dished out.

Why I framed my thought on Matador like that is because I believed there is more to Nodoka’s revenge on Yumi than just “because she can”, and that is a combination of hateful thoughts like “you haven’t really been taught a lesson for all you have done to my loved one yet”, “I will hurt you as much as I can, just like what you did to her”, "I need to see how sorry you actually are with my own eyes", and “even if Futaba’s forgiven you, I HAVE NOT” (the last one is especially prominent in my eyes because Futaba has always been a weakling softie, someone either incapable of or unwilling to properly hate and punish those that deserve, and constantly lets them off the hook way too easily). Even if they are self-centered or self-righteous, thoughts like these and the subsequent extreme vengeance make Nodoka a living human being for once. That is her human moment, even if it was revealed via a very very unnecessarily cruel segue.

If I, Fdsasdf Fukuyama, dear Futaba's imaginary siscon psychopath onichan, who's been worried sick about my timid imouto's bully issues and who's been wanting to stab Yumi 23 times for this had the opportunity came sooner, suddenly got told one day (by Futaba herself, no less) that it's all no problemo now with seemingly no tangible closure whatsoever. And that's it? How could she accept this? How could I accept this? How would I dissipate my anger that's been boiling ever since I found out your pain and suffering? Would I not do the same thing Nodoka did, or would I not do something even worse than Matador?

Everything up there is over the top, all of them. But when it comes to revenge stemmed from love too deep, twisted, and suffocating, rational and reasonable solutions are not a concern. Just for a brief moment, thoughts like those lower Nodoka's maliciousness meter from incomprehensible calamity to a mere directional cruel person, and that is all I ask because you really can't ask a tad more from Nodoka.
