So for some reason I can't trigger the There is Nothing event. I have done everything here

The only thing I haven't done is a Happy Event but I need Maya's phone number to invite her. Can someone help me? I'm starting to think I'm glitched.

You have to do the “Turn Off The Lights” Happy Event to proceed. Make sure it’s a weekend evening and go to your phone. You don’t need to get Maya’s number manually. She will show up for you in your contacts. You can start the Happy Event from there.

You don't get her actual number until chapter 2, but her name would appear in your phone randomly for the happy event. A bunch of the happy events are some weird thing appears and you should click it.

All that I'm about to say is based on the idea that we're still in Chapter 4 and Akira's still keeping his memory after the reset puzzles like he did at the end of 0.52, and that no one else got reset since we're still in Chapter 4. Otherwise who knows what any of this means.

It's more about how sel's character cycle works. Basically, when he has no reason to do otherwise, he picks characters who haven't received anything for the longest time. As a result, unpopular characters tend to group and come back sequentially
