Careful, might end up on Nodoka's shit list over calling Futaba boring. Lol. But yeah I get it. Some characters feel a little under baked compared to others, especially early on.

For me, I can not seem to give a shit about Otoha. Maybe if Sel ups her racism and shota con stuff, then she'll become more interesting, but right now she's just Rin's girlfriend, Nodoka's roommate, Noriko's ex bandmate, and Niki's pupil. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets fridged just so Rin could kill herself for some extra drama.

after the rewrite there was a lot of people that didnt like it, lots of hints removed, scenes deleted, still frames altered, entire scenes toned down a bit to make them more 'normal' so the weirdness has a slower build to it, etc. i only played through the rewrite much later and can say, yeah, it wasn't as good but maybe it was necessary... games not done yet

Awww dude, he got rid of the secret sex room at the pornshop Makoto scene, i fucking loved that scene, it was ace, just whipping it out, Makoto looking like the most stupified deer in headlights ever, it was hilarious... it's replacement fucking sucks so bad it would be a crap scene even if it was original and not replacing something so much fucking better. I at least enjoyed the replacement for the infamous 'chuuu' Ayane scene. This is just full on, balls touching, gay.

This is kind of interesting, because Nodoka states that she came from nothing. On the other hand she goes pretty hyper metaphorical about it, stating Akira should imagine her as something like an amoeba or tardigrade.

I think Nodoka actually meant "Nothing" more in the poor sense. Like she grew up poor with a disabled mother, with virtually nothing really to her name. It's probably why she's so protective, independent, and deliberate, and has no remorse for Yumi just because she's "had it rough".

She likely even became as smart as she is, out of necessity.

Nodoka also seems to be one of the few girls who don't have someone taking care of them. Then again, could be wrong. Can't recall if she's mentioned having a father in her life.

Chika and Nodoka are rather similar now that I think about it.

this next one is from a scene where she is washing makoto's hair in the showers just before the yumi thing, the entire conversation is very sexually charged and implies nodoka washes other peoples hair alot, just considering the context of how often this would be possible for a teen girl and she takes care of her 'sick' mom... conecting dots makes me think it is her mom she has washed before. there is not much reason to do so unless her mom can't do it do to her sickness... thus i think she might be a vegetable. why i think she sexually abuses her vegetable mother... she is the 'incest girl' and very pro lesbian contact afterall and she seems to be going through the exact same thing sensei is going through if her oblique narration is any indication

I sincerely hope she isn't molesting her mother, but seeing as how she seems to prefer a challenge sexually, and I can't recall her mentioning mother daughter Incest, (mostly just father daughter), I doubt that's something that's going on. She probably just has to bathe her mother and stuff, due to what's wrong with her. Then again who knows with this game.

I also think Nodoka is aware of the resets due to the inconsistencies in her memories, and she considers memories from past resets as belonging to other Nodokas, not herself. Albeit, if she does get born again like Sensei, that would be really interesting, and that "wall" catch is interesting, hadn't put that together.

fair enough, I'm at least fairly confident her mom is essentially a vegetable
her fucking her mom is based solely on a combination of her personality, love of incest, love of yuri, what i naturally expect her to do in the presence of any naked female let alone most clothed ones, and the fact that sensei upon losing all sense of identity proceeds to try to fuck everything regardless of relations and nodoka seems to be getting her mind/personality wiped and then rebuilding herself as well.

Maybe it's her insane way to describe growing up poor.
But maybe she's pointing to something different.

Espacially with the:
Nodoka "What if someone has been somewhere else but everyone thinks they’re crazy and no one believes them because the idea of another world layered on top of this one is absurd? It’s insane. It’s impossible."

Maybe Nodoka has a mother in Kumonmi, a life, some conections.
But maybe Nodoka comes from the Upside Down House. Maybe a few of Kumonmi inhabitants do.
And Nodoka feels a connection to that place, and remembers it.

The Upside Down House is said to be on the edge of the universe, what ever universe means in that context (could just be Kumonmi).
And that could also mean that it's on top of it, or, that Kumonmi originates from the Upside Down House.
Maybe it really is a game, played by the inhabitants of the Upside Down House, and everyone wants the story to go their way, hence the "gods".
And some got lost in the story, like for example Nodoka (who might be in fact, Nozomu).

It would really be some badass 4th wall breaking everything considered.
But i think it could fit.

I'd rather have explained that train of thought seperatly, but it is as it is.
