They also destroy the livelihood of actual artists. They involve basically zero effort by the developer, who just uses free assets (or rarely, buys non-free ones), poses them, then lets the PC render for hours.

Or, if not, why do you think AI generated art is worse than 3D-rendered artwork outside personal taste in how it looks (because saying we should ban a type of game based on your personal preferences on this site is a VERY slippery slope we need to stay far away from.)?

Brother there is no actual content. NOTHING. its just AI generated pictures with the UI that looks like an 8yo made it. its just 1 or 2 bad AI pics of a character and nothing more. and u just click accept or reject and when one of ur stats goes down u lost

If uploaders would tag it properly, you could just filter this stuff out and never have to see it.

I don't personally like the look of Daz or honey select in 99% of cases, but that's not to say it can't be used well.
AI can be used to great effect as well, when the person 'making' it actually gives a shit about what they're doing.
Any of these can be used to make minimum-effort cashgrab schlock like this, and it's pretty obvious when they do.

None of these mediums are "destroying" the livelihood of actual artists. Go look at any talented digital artist's patreon/commissions and you'll see they're doing just fine.

And, if you ACTUALLY read the post I replied to (which was quoted, in it's entirety, in my own post), you would see I was specifically replying to a post that was calling for the complete banning of all AI art games on this forum.

So my post is a bit more "general" than this specific game, as I'm addressing the unabashed revulsion for AI art some people have, despite being perfectly okay with other forms of game "art" generation that are equally non-artistic (IMHO, they're more non-artistic, because getting decent AI art results requires some time investment, playing around with the input string, etc; while 3D rendering just requires posing the models and hitting "Render").

If uploaders would tag it properly, you could just filter this stuff out and never have to see it.

As far as destroying the livelihood of artists, I'm just using the most common argument for why people hate AI art. I agree with you - good artists will still get plenty of work. We've had non-artist art-generation options being used heavily in game development for a LONG time already. Hell, if you go back to the days when Adult Interactive Fiction was big, the game Meteor in 2010 was entirely rendered art.

It's just really annoying popping into a thread and seeing constant & repetitive posts of any kind. "NTR Avoidable" was the same thing, except that the question, despite being done basically as a meme, had merit. Just like clarifying Netorare vs Netorase vs Netori. There's something useful to get out of that.

But everyone posting "AI art, GDIAF dev" is just being toxic for zero benefit. Not only are most of them total hypocrites who have said nothing ever about "lazy devs" and Daz3D (and if you've been here for 2+ years, you KNOW how many version 0.1 Daz3D games never see a 0.2 version). But on top of that, their entire reasons for the AI art hate are completely detached from the quality/effort invested in the AI art. They see one image that MIGHT be AI art, and go full-on hate-boner against it.

And I wouldn't mind the hate, if they'd just keep it to themselves. "Oh, this game has AI art, X. Next game thread?" But they insist on whining & complaining about it, just to feel better about themselves. Like they're taking some moral high ground. "This game has AI art, it's not GOOD ENOUGH" for me.

The irony of someone browsing games on this site, many of which got her on the high seas, and pretending to be morally superior to any of the people actually putting in their time and effort to try and make an adult game is ridiculous.

I don't care about the AI CG, but the game has pretty much no gameplay. The rulebook is a bunch of useless messages with only two that matter (and actually don't): Countries we have good and bad relations with.

And I say it doesn't matter because all you need to do is hover over the Accept/Reject buttons to see which stats will be affected. So you'd only click based on the green numbers, after clicking randomly on ID (shows info that doesn't matter because you'll only look at the green numbers anyway); Scan (shows a nude art if the girl wasn't nude already) and Bribe (shows a random sex CG).

Honestly, I like the concept, but if this is all there is, and there's no real gameplay or interaction with the girls, I'd just replay imperial gatekeeper for the nth time instead.
