This one has admittedly more content than others, compared to the usual 0.1. Right now this seems like a strong 0.3. We compare to make people who work their asses to make good something shine more. What game have you been playing?
I haven't played it yet and I'm about to, but just looking at how small the file is, I doubt it has *that much more* content compared to other big games with years of work. And if we want to talk about milked games, why even bother comparing?
Average at least, could be worst *cope*
If you look at it from top to bottom, it doesn't have that much ‘unique’ content, but since it's a sandbox that requires 2–3 hours of grind to reach the upper levels of corruption to get to the sexier parts of the gameplay loop, people equate that grind with content. What game have you been playing?

It'll be better balanced in the next update, 0.2.0. It is possible within the current version as well, if you're really good at the bar minigame, AC off, upload pictures on Secret Desires website everyday... It's not easy, but it's achievable.is it even possible to make enough to pay rent? cause god damn.
That's naive and hopeful at this point there's only doubt. Release dates have not been met. They're already stringing a long. In fact any hype on its release has been dealt a delayed blow where those numbers now are dropping like flies. When you had a release like this as an opening, any marketing should've have put out another building on its success, then it could've holidayed after setting a longer schedule between them. Hook line sink. Instead of any excuses where there is currently no indication of if this will and when, it hasn't been met and Patreon hasn't had a post since April. It also played the polling game, a bad signal to anybody else in the know. Literally stringing along. Polling rarely adds stuff that wasn't going to be put it, but it more than not delays stuff instead. It assumes connectivity with a fanbase. The only thing a fanbase wants is content not a dumber vote.If you look at it from top to bottom, it doesn't have that much ‘unique’ content, but since it's a sandbox that requires 2–3 hours of grind to reach the upper levels of corruption to get to the sexier parts of the gameplay loop, people equate that grind with content.
Once you play it and look at the bigger picture, you realize that the story has only three locations for H-Content (house, train, and bar) and a small cast of named NPCs that are mostly inside the house. There are no external factors that come into the picture; Angel cannot explore outside of these three places and cannot have any random events occur to her or meet some random new NPC or start a side quest/storyline. It's a controlled chaos environment, but very restrictive for a sandbox so far.
While arguably it's better fleshed out than most v0.1s that come out on F95zone with 50 renders and calling it a “Work in Progress” for 10 years, and such devs always give out early signs that they're going to be the future Patreon milkers—Frisson has been transparent and hasn't given us any reason to doubt him or have any malicious intentions so far.
you know you could just join the discord server and check if they actually working on this game? if you crave for new content check the teaser tab, they post new screenshot mostly weekly (4~5days apart)Hook line sink. April was a release date, it got moved to May, and now it's when, no posts on the sub platforms? The last post on patreon was April. I don't use discord. It's full of crap. It either releases or it doesn't. If it doesn't it loses subs.you know you could just join the discord server and check if they actually working on this game? if you crave for new content check the teaser tab, they post new screenshot mostly weekly (4~5days apart) View attachment 4896636
I still think about this graph I posted a while back, and it applies perfectly in this case, and reinforces your comment as well. Either way, we're in June now, and the update is expected to release this month. Let's see if it lives up to the hype, and manages to garner the same amount of eyeballs that 0.1.0 did.April was a release date, it got moved to May, and now it's when, no posts on the sub platforms? Marketing not dipshit. Rides the wave. The wave was releasing a product demanded. It had some of the biggest numbers of any product of this kind released. It was in demand. But they poured water all over it. Now what's its story. You're defending something because you're still expectant. Except you cannot tell me anything except they're working on it. Gee gosh darn it. Captain obvious. They would be as milkers or releasers. As releasers deadlines get be met. They don't get excuses and here's another picture of something else.
That's quite reassuring that you're open and not obfuscating details or information or making up silly excuses (trust me, everyone sees through them, but we choose to ignore them and always give the benefit of the doubt.)
Not a direct comparison, but another example of this happening was with Valheim. The dev released an amazing initial release on Steam; it was bug-free, the Steam concurrent player count was off the charts, and the game was blowing up in the mainstream media... and guess where the dev was? He straight up went away on a 3-4-month-long vacation!
He didn't strike the iron while it was still hot, and even though he likely made millions and would never have to work again, Valheim never really reached its peak popularity ever again. It's not a dead game by any means, but it's certainly facing an inevitable decline.
Guess where the game blew up, and the dev provided the next ‘content’ update? It's literally a case study.

Yeah no I agree on that, seems like it's off to a great start. I'm just surprised because that many reviews on a first release is just quite insane lolWhile arguably it's better fleshed out than most v0.1s that come out on F95zone with 50 renders and calling it a “Work in Progress” for 10 years, and such devs always give out early signs that they're going to be the future Patreon milkers—Frisson has been transparent and hasn't given us any reason to doubt him or have any malicious intentions so far.
LOL, you're right, but I couldn't help but think you should never go into 'A Wife and Mother' thread; your head might literally explode in there. The amount of mental energy being spent on this game by people who neither making it nor actively playing it is insane to me. Go have lives for a couple months and check it out when the update comes, make some interesting food, try out a sport, build something or grow something, literally do anything other than fight about this game

Judging by the amount of content promised in the devlog on discord, if you actually checked, it will be substantial given the current release window. I can get being upset with release date changes, but you've got to judge this by what's actually being produced and what's being told. By the time of the release, we can probably judge if the time taken was worth it, but I don't think it's fair to say the devs are milking the game due to elongating the expected release.April was a release date, it got moved to May, and now it's when, no posts on the sub platforms? IMHO, you answered much more than necessary, i mean, as you said, there are devs that doI think this discussion is going somewhere it shouldn’t. I suggest stopping it here—I really don’t want F95 to close this thread.
Let me try to comment on everything that’s been said:
Yes, maybe we could be more active on the Patreon page, but considering our last post was less than 10 days ago, I wouldn’t call us absent. Still, we won’t post every single sneak peek or image—we think that could feel more like spam than actual news.
We’ve never made promises like "You’ll get the update in X month or on X date"—except for 21/06/25. That’s the only real promise we’ve made. We wanted to release an update three weeks after 0.1, but we clearly failed. It was a personal goal, not a promise. So please judge us on 21/06/25, and see if we deliver within those 20 days.
Also, we’re just two devs with real-life jobs, families, and responsibilities. This project is growing—and maybe someday it will support us enough to go full-time—but that’s just a future hope, not the current reality. We don’t have full days to work on this. We’re working our asses off to deliver as soon as possible, but we also want to release enough content to avoid insulting you with something like:
"Here, enjoy 5 minutes of content padded with an hour of grinding—there, now it’s 1 hour long."
The point of the “grinding” is not to waste your time, but to create effort-based decisions. You can clean and do what it takes to stay pure… but your own laziness will work against you. It’s easier to just let Kev cook for you and give him some advantage in return, than spend 15 seconds cooking on your own, right?
That’s the entire concept behind it.
This is what we can offer. If you’re okay with this kind of game and how we deliver content, we’d love for you to stick around. But if you’re looking for a big professional production with scheduled releases from day one, massive updates, and daily Patreon posts—this isn’t the game for you. We kindly suggest leaving the thread and enjoying something else, to avoid bad experiences here.
We hope the thread stays clean, and we’ll keep working hard on the next update.
Thanks for all the support—really, thank you!
