Glad to have someone who actually read my post and gets what I am saying. This is exactly how I see it too. As soon as I read that there won't be an update until end of Dec, I knew that I couldn't support the game. It's a good game though and I wish it would get regular updates, then I would be more than happy to support it.
I just hope it doesn't end up abandoned like so many other cool games. I need more female protag games and this one has so much potential.
OMG! Those new images look lovely. I think I need to go change my panties.![]()
If and when you put out a quality update like I have said many times before I will be happy to support you once more. You want to act all defensive when I make a post that is mildly critical that is just fine, it won't stop me from saying it how I see it.You talk about milking, but when the next update drops this month and you get more than 3 new hours of gameplay (going fast, not reading everything, and doing the minimum amount of minigames), I’d really like to see where the “milking” is. Also, please enlighten us and tell us how many games, indie or AAA, offer that much content (+12hs) in less than a year of development. After that, you can call us milkers again.
If everyone unsubbed whenever an update wasn’t monthly or bi-monthly, most indie projects would die instantly. In our case, we actually feel people’s support, and that pushes us to work harder and deliver as much content as we can. If the patron count worked the way you suggest (close to nothing), the project would move at a much slower pace. And even then—patrons or not—we still promised the game will be finished, as we also promised the update would arrive this year.
PS: Someone mentioned we're making more than 3k. That would be nice, but sadly it's not even close to that.
I'm not sure why you quoted me, I did read your post and understood exactly where you were coming from.Glad to have someone who actually read my post and gets what I am saying.
Its funny how most people didn't actually read my comment. I said SMELLS like milking NOT it is or was milking. I also said and have said many times if the update is good the dev deserves and I will be supporting them again. I love seeing all the stupidity defensive posts. If the dev isn't milking and puts out a good update then no one should be upset by my post.
Also I too hope this games doesn't get abandoned like SOOOOO many other good ones (so far). I had one I was following where the dev literally said they were using the money they got for one game to work on another. I mean at least they were honest but how disgusting is that. So SORRY to all the defensive idiots that because of all the horrible devs that have screwed me and a lot of other people that I am much more careful and only support devs when they put out quality product. Just like I wait for any game on Steam to fully come out before I buy it I have been ripped off by early access games far to often.
Oh and to everyone with a problem with my post. if you don't like me.... BITE ME.
I quoted you because you seem like one of the only ones who get what I am saying. I also agreed with what you said and was telling pretty much everyone else or at least those with a problem with my post to bite me if they didn't like it.I'm not sure why you quoted me, I did read your post and understood exactly where you were coming from.
As for biting you. I only bite people I like and I don't know you well enough to know if I like you.![]()
The "update/android" morons are the worst, but second place goes to every fool yapping about removing/blocking content they don't like. From a game they got for free. I'm loss for words regarding the pure stupidity.Interesting how many people here find time to complain about updates not realising the amount of ow
Yeah imagine being a crybaby in a pirated site, with games that are extremely niche
Yeah please dev ignore them and keep cooking! You're doing great

Just ignore any negative comments and keep on with the mission. Look forward to future updates. We’re not being defensive — we’re explaining the work behind the update and the amount of content it brings. You’re free to support the project only when you feel it’s right, but to be completely honest, support from people who expect the worst from us isn’t something we rely on or build the project around.
We prefer a community that follows the progress, understands the development style, and supports because they like the direction of the game — not because they expect monthly drops or assume “milking” by default.
We’ve been clear from the beginning: we don’t release tiny monthly updates just to keep a feed going. We show progress regularly, explain what’s being worked on, and deliver larger, meaningful updates. The next one comes this month with over 4 hours of new content, several completed systems, and a major step in overall progress.
Once again, we only ask to be judged by our actions and by the work we deliver, not by what other developers have done in the past.
Whether you support again or not is entirely up to you. If six months already felt too long, then it’s better not to, because future updates may take a similar amount of time or even longer — only time will tell. What we can say for sure is that they won’t be updating every 2 or 3 months.
And just to be clear — support is everything for indie devs like us. The people who choose to support a project they believe in are the real heroes; they’re the reason these games even exist. Without them, most indie projects wouldn’t start, and many would die early. Their support keeps them alive, and in many cases, it’s what allows a game to reach the finish line.

I wanted to offer support, but the dollar conversion is too expensiveWow, I really thought that you were doing much better. I mean, you do deserve much more support for your game. Especially since you are a very friendly developer and share your plans and art while it is still in development. Not many developers do that

thx bro.Thank you very much to your team.
Bar Reputation is about the *kind* of customers the bar attracts.I'll go ahead and apologize for not reading through 90 pages of thread to see if I can turn up an answer to this question, but:
I'm unclear on what exactly Bar Reputation is supposed to reflect, and what a good (or bad) bar reputation would actually be.
Bar Integrity, I think I understand—basically a measure of how "upstanding" the bar, and the behavior of its clientele, are. High integrity = [relatively] well-behaved customers, so if you want to minimize sexual encounters, you want high integrity, etc. The impact on Bar Integrity from actions during the waitress segment also make sense: If you fight back against lewd behavior, integrity goes up / customers become better behaved. If you don't, integrity goes down and customers are more likely to push boundaries, etc. All simple and intuitive enough.
But Bar Reputation isn't clicking for me. The game's Help dialogue says that happy customers = higher reputation = more and better-tipping customers in the future. However, within the actual waitress segment, fighting back against lewd behavior (which ostensibly reduces customer happiness) causes reputation to go up, while letting such events slide (which ostensibly raises customer happiness) causes reputation to go down. Additionally, the Help dialogue says that "According to how happy the customers leave, the bar will have a better or worse reputation," but I have not seen the reputation change at the end of a shift at all (I've seen it occasionally go up by a mere +1 at the start of a new day, though).
So I guess the question is, how to best maintain high Reputation (and thus, high tips) without angering customers by fighting back / resisting?
Ah. So, what is the difference between that, and Bar Integrity (since what you just described is what I, apparently incorrectly, thought was the mechanic of Bar Integrity)?Bar Reputation is about the *kind* of customers the bar attracts.
If the reputation is low, people see it as a shady place where shady things are allowed — like a lousy bar with an easy waitress.
So low reputation = more harassment.
