Before i post the new custom render i want to speak about something.A few months ago Moody's wife got a bad diagnosis,a really bad disease which will stay for life and will get worse over the years and decades and is not curable but only treatable.He told me which one it is because he trust's me and we normally chat reguarly(although less since that diagnosis)because it is not my right i will not tell which disease it is but after he told me i expected that he will quit entirely,i'm glad he is still going on.The reason of his silence most of the time is because he and his wife have much to do,when he works on the game and his day job(if you should not know he is not doing LISC on full time,considering that he did a very good job since the first release every 3 months +1 or 2 weeks bringing out a big about with amazing animations)he can distract himself from thinking all the time about what will maybe happen in the next future.I'm not white knighting him and told him that more activity on patreon and discord would be needed but it is what it is,i'm glad the update is going good and i trust him so far.I hope you can understand his situation a bit more now,Thank you for reading this "novel".

Prologue is the weakest part - story picks up after that - especially the MC.

It has been asked before, but I will tell you this, Lauren caught them dealing drugs and locked them in the restroom to clean it. Billy made out like she was ding something else like with the students. He turned out to be two faced.

That's cold, until now the dev didn't give me the impression of milking (not as some others like coff coff Dammed)
sure is not top speed but the quality of the renders and animations take time
Hope that the story get a rewrite to include just family members and some girls from the inner circle instead the wholesome prospected in the prologue

As for the dev if he's sincere i can only pray that some cure for his wife will be discovered in time

Especially if you consider that each update was over 1000-1200 render big with great quality and amazing animations.Other dev's who are kind of milking are not even deliver that in a whole year,also like i already wrote he is not doing this on full time and has still his day job.

if he will continue to release more of this great updates, he will get more patreons and follower over the time for sure what can help him and his wife. Having money is not everything but can help in some situations more than less.

I don't know how true the whole wife caught a disease thing really is, I take it at face value, after all its the internet. There have been a few devs on this site that faked their excuses on this site ranging from war to sickness.

Of course being a believer or skeptic doesn't change the fact that he still has to deliver at some point, so I wish his wife and family well, i hope he doesn't put some porn game first before his own well being too. If what was stated is true.

If it ever gets too serious or out of hand the least dev can do is let his patreons know, which includes my dumpster tier cus i can't see shit

Prehaps an announcement of a hiatus or discontinuity of the game on a whole. That would be better than other devs who give indefinite periods of empty promises and then still charging the patreon.

LISC is a seriously good adult VN, arguably one of the best rendered and polished ones on here, alot of the new ones are already passing BADIK in terms of render and animations. But whatever his choice is going forward, I got no quarrel. Its his wife and his life.

I swear, reading the reasons these devs have for not delivering their game on time makes it seem like they're the main character of a cheesy CW drama tv show like 90210. The shit that allegely happens to them would be a lot of pain and suffering for an entire generation of several families to go through yet somehow they manage to have it happen to them alone. They must be some of the unluckiest people on Earth.

Or, in most cases, they're full of shit.

Life in Santa County is one of the greatest VNs I've had the pleasure of playing, but it seems to be plagued by the same recurring problem; once a game gains popularity, karma is served to the dev and suddenly they have all of these things happen to them that prevent them from working on their game.

If his wife is truly sick, I hope she will pull through and my best wishes to them. But yea, my experience with these devs tells me I should take that with a grain of salt.
