Many devs only push for an initial Steam release and sometimes it gets awkward with upcoming updates. Thing is Patreon will always come first except for the initial Steam Release but naturally it's cheaper.

Not unless specified, the dev released this as "Season 1", so there is a very good chance they release Season 2 as a DLC and you would need to pay again. There is no word yet on how they are going about it.

Hey everyone! After an absolutely insane workload, we're finally launching on Steam tomorrow. I honestly didn't expect there would be this much work involved, but somehow I managed to pull through. Tomorrow's the big day, and LISC is finally coming to Steam.

I want to tell you about what's next, but first and most importantly, I need to thank you all. Tomorrow is truly a huge milestone for me, and I would have never made it here without you. We've had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day, we've been in this together, and nothing means more to me than that.

During this process, you waited patiently for the game's new update and gave me the time I needed. Moving forward, I promise that every update I make will deliver both the best possible content and special Patreon-exclusive extras. I'll also make sure the new update will be worth the wait. If I can gain even a little momentum from this Steam release, I'll focus on building a team, expanding, and speeding up development. This process has made one thing crystal clear: this is definitely not a one-person job. The new update will kick off the game's second season, and I want to give you a sense of where the game and characters are headed. I believe it's going to be an amazing update. I want to both show you how far I've come since the beginning and prove that I can successfully deliver the experience I've always intended.

We've achieved incredible wishlist results in such a short time. I can't thank you enough for this interest, and now I need to carry this momentum to the final step: Steam reviews. Those of you who purchase the game, if you could leave honest reviews, you'd make an enormous impact on this whole journey. I'd be especially grateful if you could leave small personal identifiers like your Discord username, email name, or Patreon name in reviews posted during the first day or first week. No, it was already done with the revision from a few months ago.

I thought I was the only one. No matter what I do it won't start either for me. Other renpy games running on same version 8.3.7 (or even 8.4.0) run fine so I don't think problem is on my end.

Did you two apply the hot fix patch found here https://f95zone.to/threads/life-in-santa-county-v0-11-0-bold-bash-studios.80005/post-17008480 ? Note this is the ONLY patch you should apply, none of the others are compatible with the steam version.

it still didn't help. ...I moved both files "replace"....error..I didn't use any mods...I JUST DOWNLOADED THE GAME AND THE PATCH THAT IS LOCATED JUST BELOW.
