My 22" display is usually at 1366x768 so, it's ok for me. I only use Full-HD resolution when editing graphics...

why i cant find any new content old save isnt working or wat ?
Your question was already answered a few posts above.
It tells you literally everything:

v0.5.4 :
- Added 20 Animations.
- Added Point tracker.
- Renpy Version Updated.
- Bugfix.

Then compare that to the original v.0.5.0 changelog and you'll see the difference. Unless there is a mention of renders/scenes, then there is no new content added and the version has "just" bugfixes and the missing animations.

5GB vs 600MB compressed ...
I have 1gig fiber and TBs of storage but I still find it fucking stupid that devs just shove raw PNGs in their games
And if you live in a country with slow internet or limited data, then what ? fuck you, play another game ?
Exactly. I get that some PCMASTERRACE people might want the 8k 10gigs version but that's like 1% of entire gaming market let alone porn games which might be even less than 1%.
Why would dev target that audience when 80% market is at 1080p or lower. Not to mention to render 4k image takes 4 times the power, 8k 16 times.
Compressed versions are boom for android ports, as people playing on android have high probability to be using celluar data which is capped and expensive world wide. Also Phone storage is way lower in general compared to in PC's.
Also I would for devs to move to newer img formats like Webm/p or AV1 (not sure renpy supports that yet) which are significantly smaller in footprint than png's.
