I think You have to choose firstly the Look for more option:

Jasmine "Oh hey! Great. Glad to see you." -> other options (basically the Look for more choice) (ask all, but next one last) -> Can we talk about... (use as last choice) -> MC "There's something I need to talk to you about." -> "Ask for help." Jasmine+1
Thanks, but sadly the outcome is the same.

So I'm having a little bit of trouble, I think...

Like I said before I'm following the PDF walkthrough, this one:

https://attachments.f95zone.to/2023/07/2816600_SantaCountyWTv0.8.1-b1.pdf

Earlier on my playthrough I had to text Jasmine and, like the walkthrough told me, I told her I would think about going meeting her before a party or not, not definitive answer, because if I told her "yes" it would lock the scene of the following party.

Now I'm on a scene where I have to talk to Jasmine on person in the school, and the walkthrough tells me to ask her for help after I selected all the other options, just before she asks me if I thought about meeting her and I told her that I did not, but I can't do it:

View attachment 3296763

As you can see the option is colored black and I can't click on it.

I don't understand why this happens cause I followed the walkthrough thoroughly, step by step, but now I can't choose the option it tells me.

I get the feeling that I'm losing progression with Jasmine, and I wouldn't like that to happen because I really like her.

Any thoughts on why this could be happening?
Read n use the walkthrough mate

Devlog #35 And BETA ANNONCEMENT

Hey, greetings! It's been a while since we chatted.

We had a lot on our plate, and we didn't want any distractions, so we've been heads down just getting the work done. For about 3 months straight, we've been creating scenes and rendering non-stop. During this time, we were aiming to build the Sandbox version and ideally, craft the entire game.

We wrapped up the Sandbox build just the other day. As you know, we're working on a fluid sandbox game without grind. However, this meant that our existing scenes were quite lacking. We revisited about half of the scenes, made additions, created entirely new sequences, and expanded the story in a way that allows for better storytelling. The end product looked amazing, but there was a serious issue.

Given that the game used to follow a classic VN style, sometimes telling the same day, the transition to a Sandbox genre made relationships and stories progress quite rapidly. We needed to insert new sequences and story additions, but since we added them later, they would never be as good as the original. So, without disrupting the characters' stories, we reworked the plotlines. We created thousands of new scenes and added a bunch of fun and sexy new events.

Yet, if you're making a sandbox, have a map, and aren't adding grind, you need to fill your map with content. We still have a lot of scenes to create for the Open world build. We want to release it as a full game because we genuinely worked on it for months without a break, so we want to avoid making mistakes.

While bringing the game to such a good point, we didn't overlook one of the most crucial aspects, the interface. We've started working with a fantastic interface designer and a talented artist for the map.

Once these additions are done, we'll need an extensive beta testing period, as it has become an entirely new, massive game. However, we also want to release new content to you without further delay. So, we're releasing the new update once again as a VN. In this update, we applied a rework to the Prologue and EP1, implementing a new writing style due to the complete change in the writing and scenario in the sandbox build.

This update focuses on Iris, Lauren, and Chloe. We're also adding some of the reworked scenes for the new build to the game.

-Prologue and EP1 scenario and IRIS story flow have been updated. Additions were made, and the writing was changed.
-Prologue Karen sequence was updated.
-All school scenes were updated.
-Jasmine was reworked. (In the Openworld build, she has her own route entirely.)
-Iris sequence was added.

-Lauren-Chloe sequence was added.

The testing period for the VN version will be quite short. Additionally, we'll release the Openworld build shortly after version 0.9. With the Open world build, we have something we want to do. We'll continue updating both the VN version and the Sandbox version. Since we can provide regular updates for the sandbox build each month, we'll be bringing significant updates to the VN version at regular intervals.

For now, that's about it.

In the first week of the new month, we'll kick off the beta testing process.

So after six months of development we have no plot development progress on the plate. I have got an impression they have no idea how to develop the plot after sex with Lauren so they have decided to make a sand-box instead of vn.

I'm not jazzed about the openworld sandbox but if that's what the devs think s best then I trust them It's also a huge sign of positive that they are releasing a VN version so I'm happy with that.

Yeah, if they can do like let's say Anna Exciting Affection, then fine by me, dev releases Sandbox first for beta, then the VN about 3 days later. I can't remember very many games that have 2 versions, I mean some have 2 in 1 where you select, but not really 2 different builds.

I haven't played Anna Exciting Affection or any game that has 2 versions VN and Sandbox. This will be my first. I hope it won't slow down development time.

It doesn't the game I mentioned, haven't played it in a very long time, but it's consistent, as long as its content is in the same version and there is no delay should be fine, then again, with AEA, they want sandbox more than the "VN", so hopefully the paying folks (I will vote VN) still want the "VN" version more than the "open world" version.

Agreed. Sandboxes can be fun if they are made well with a lot of content, less grind, and a comprehensive guide but unfortunately, most sandboxes I played are lacklustre in all departments. VN are simple as porn games should be.

Well that the wait is not long, I'm glad sandbox but not directly that would work in the game, and so I want to wish strength and good luck who is working on the project.(y)

The dev team has almost ruined the game despite a very high class quality comparable to milfy city either to midnight paradise. Moody has rolled the plot back in the beginning of the second chapter. It took six months.

The one I guess I can say that's great with Shawn's mod is Photo Hunt ;)
