Downloaded the Ver 4.06 (Pre-patched) after seeing this game on the news, and the new game menu is mostly untranslated. Is the rest of the game the same? 'Cause I don't speak Japanese.

Luckily my phone has a built in Google translates that translates the screen so it is manageable
Looked this up because of the news about the Norwegian dude. Is the blonde chick in the previews bangable?
Sorry if this has been asked to death, but reading the thread I am very confused, did nobody provide a complete simple translation patch in 2 years or update the previous patches completely? The last big post with information and links all over seems to be from 2023, I'm at a loss, what's going on with this game?
Guys, for the guy who got arrested, what did he do exactly? Did he share it somewhere or did just have it downloaded? How did they get him?
Apparently he had actual cyberpunk on his computer along with the game. But according to most people, the game was enough to get him arrested over there. They consider this game just as bad as cyberpunk for some reason. Sources say that he was distributing it widespread, but looking further into it, I'm pretty sure he just posted images and videos of this game online.
I would look further into it or ask someone else for more info since that's all i've got.
But for now, to be safe, you can play it, just DO NOT post anything online.

It's really not a new thing, as crazy and idiotic as it sounds, most countries have made fictional stuff as illegal as the real counterpart decades ago.
It's just that nobody knew or cared until now.

Yeah I'd be careful. if you're in America you have freedom of speech but the EU doesn't care. they have ZERO power over you but that doesn't stop them from trying like they tried to do with Americans talking about their riots
The latest version apparently is locked through the Himeko S Community discord. The discord that is from the translators.

Was searching around. No luck finding any translation updates. 4.0.6 is still untranslated on the UI side. Just gotta guess what each button dose. Back up your saves and try all of them to see what happens.
If you run into Japanese text, I recommend Screen Translator from SourceForge.net . Its quick and easy to set up. It's gonna hide in your system tray, so you just open it, right click the icon, and set up the settings. Then you can assign a hotkey for whenever you need to translate some text. (finicky with fancy fonts, so don't think it will work on the UI. Better than nothing. For safety, use Yandex. Better they have your screen translator info than Google who will report you like that Norwegian dude.)

hmm I installed his patch from mega folder and while it did translate some config text my closet buttons are still in jap, are some patches pay-walled or smth?

not to my knowledge, but as I'm a nice guy, I'll upload my prepatched 4.06 for next 24 or so hours, you can let me know if that works for you :
