Chapter 5 took about a year.
Chapter 6 took about a year.
Chapter 7 is going to take about a year or a little more.
The developer shares weekly progress updates on his work - no one is in the dark, except those that willingly choose the blindness of ignorance and entitlement.

I waited over 20 years for a FF7 Remake and i am still waiting for it. You don't even know what waiting is yet my very young padawan.
Also get some kids on the way and wait for them to leave the house.... and you will find out the hard way how the waiting game works.

Not sure anymore because i try to blend out the fact that this game will some day end. So i could only guess but 9 seems realistic..... and sad.
There's been a few variations along the way, but as of right now, at least one more after 7, any more after that depends on if there's still interesting stories to tell after that (I wouldn't want to drag it out for the sake of dragging it out, if only because I can't imagine enjoying writing nothing but filler and padding when there's nothing left to tell).

Bears deserve to be launched from every catapult. Which includes trebuchets. I want to find that one specific bear: you know the I mean. I want to find that bear and launch them into oblivion. GO AWAY BEAR!

There's no superiority about it. Trebuchets ARE catapults. So they cannot be a better catapult than any other catapult. It's still a catapult.

And since you said *FORM* of catapult, that's not true, either. If an army needed to assemble a quick siege weapon, a simple mangonel would be quicker than building a trebuchet.
