Hm? Does that mean Lilith did the adulterous thang with Cane to mother the Lilin? :D Then again, the 10 Commandments were but a glimmer in God's eye. Makes me wonder though, the 10 Commandments were for the mortals of Earth, humans, no one else if I understand the books and Apocrypha I have chosen to make up my mythical realm of the god(s). :LOL:

Cane, as in Able and Cane. Lilith, first wife of Adam according to a Jewish Appacrapha, ran off or met with Cane having a multitude of children which were demons, the lot of them were giving the name lilin, again from a Jewish Appacrapha which I'm unsure if it was the two were the same one. According to ancient sources, Lilith was a demon at the time she and Cane started doing the wild-thing. Not sure if this is from a Christian Appacrapha or just a legend but one or more lilin gave birth to the vampiric race.

It was in the early to mid-80s when I was interested in such stories reading as much as I could acquire. :)

come straight outta ancient Mesopotamia and good luck trying to untangle *that* unholy mess because supernatural beings called lil-something are a downright nuisance in myths of that corner of the world and half the time maddeningly vaguely described in the surviving material. Headache intensifies.

Basically .. All the skirts needed were there to go around or all the bouncers circulating the gates and any and all demonesses were donning the name lilith -> for the love of said bouncers.

Do not worry ... even becoming a rock star ... MC had to witness and drool at the bouncer boning some beautiful kinky dame at closing times ... so much for rock star wannabes vs. bouncers ;)!

Well except for the bit where they tended to be serial rapists (the aforementioned Zohar is apparently pretty blunt that Lilly simply forced herself on Adam for ex) and/or child-killers (as per the OG Mesopotamian version). Male form for also messing with the ladies optional but not too unusual.
