There will be some extra learning curve because this is not exactly a 'hello world' Java 8 program, it uses JavaFX as the GUI, which is an HTML layer that then interacts with the Java code under the hood. It's a fine choice but the additional abstraction might make it difficult to understand modifying X code makes Y visual change, and you need to have HTML, CSS, GUI and then Java skills to mash it all together. That being said this is actually a really nice looking JavaFX application.
Anyway, I've been following this game for a while but am sad to see a long line of essentially hollow updates. For those unfamiliar with developers dragging their feet, let me introduce you to the concept of Changelog stuffing. If you write or change one line of code, you can easily write 5 sentences describing what that does, or 4 sentences about the 4 effects/bugs it fixes. It's basically a game of "How busy can I make myself look to my stakeholders (customers), so they think I am working". Something like 'Fixed incorrect description when ...' can be talking about just fixing a typo, it's nonsense.
The main thing people care about for games like this are content updates, and it's exactly what they are not getting, and instead the developer is hiding behind Changelog stuffing to look busy, when really these changes are either minor, or unasked for
Contrast this to Four Elements Trainer where Mity has been cranking out content updates for like 4 years, and the bug fixes are included in the content updates.
Compare this to Degrees of Lewdity, which doesn't have a main story at all. All content updates are additional sex options, more NPCs, animals, tentacle monsters, etc. to rape you, more clothing/tattoos/other body modifications, and some small events, occasionally event chains here and there. It's not more update than LT (sex overworks, Alexa quest, more clothes, Rat Warren dungeon), yet people usually praise Degrees of Lewdity's developer.
Of course it's fair game when a game with a clear main storyline doesn't get updates to said storyline for half a year to complain about that fact. But to pretend like Inno doesn't do anything at all when she actually regularly (late) releases content updates is dishonest, imho.

But that's precisely why people - well, me at least - make the distinction between "additional content" and "actual progress".
The game isn't worse for the addition of a demon-centaur who wants to turn the MC into a futa who desires to serve horse-cock. It's just that said content does not advance the game. The game will advance when it allows the MC to progress the main story into the Foloi Fields and beyond.

While I firmly believe it was a mistake for her to allow the game to be derailed by a Patron poll voting for side content, Inno held that poll and is bound (morally and legally) to produce the content that resulted from it. She is (slowly) ticking off her commitments to that ill-advised poll and is now on the verge of putting it behind her.
We'll see where things go from here.

I'd make a distinction between advancing the game and advancing the story. The thing that strikes me about the current version of LT is that mechanically it seems pretty complete, but in terms of story you can't play past what is effectively an extended tutorial (because the rest of the story doesn't exist yet). You unlock various game systems through quests, and very quickly you gain the ability to enchant your items to whatever you want, as well as transform yourself and your slaves in every way possible, including their sexual orientation. Sure, the story can go on, but I don't really see much room for the game to grow. Aside from more racial transformations for demons, there's not really anything left to unlock in later stages of the game, you can do everything already.

The entire combat/magic system is probably going to have to be rebuilt at some stage, so I don't see the point of wasting dev time on making minor tweaks to it.

And yeah, the current story that emerges from gameplay is little more than a prologue establishing that the end goal of the game is to take or topple the eponymous Lilith's Throne.

Or compare to Trials in Tainted Space with it's pretty relentless trickle of new NPCs and events, CoC2 is pretty much the same, or Flexible Survival which I think has been rewritten twice in the past few years, but each time with a bit more content

The point is that no matter what, throwing up notes about tons of changes changes that are an automatic IDE refactor away (moved world state to static class), around some few meaningful changes to the player (added a grenade launcher, added a new scarf), is always just an attempt to look busier than you are, it's one technique in a bag of many that a developer can use to look like more progress is being made than is happening, take it from a coder.
Unfortunately (and probably fortunately for many creators), Patreon creators don't particularly have any liability (Edit: except for dealing with refunds), because Patreon is set up as a subscription platform for access to a creator's works. It's not a contract for goods like a retail sale. So patrons are not owed delivery of anything other than what they produce. Because they're not a retailer there aren't any FTC regulations around deliverables or anything.

I just want more interesting stuff to happen in the sandbox. Maybe, more interactions with your followers and slaves. New races and such. Don't very much care for the story or the side characters when I can see what random slave npc will do with another one of my slaves.
Also, would be nice to talk to the person after you've beaten and fucked them. Yeah, I can talk to them after I fight with them then have sex, but I like to assert my dominance to the doberman girl who has been face stomping me for the past several minutes and refusing my climax.

It was my understanding that creators had in fact been sued for failure to deliver on promises. Voting in the Patreon poll was apparently a reward offered for a certain level of subscription.
Regardless of the likelihood of Inno actually getting sued (wouldn't seem to be worth it), there is still a clear moral obligation when you tell people that if they give you X, you will let them vote on content that you will produce. It was a bad idea to open up a creative endeavor to democratic input to begin with, but it's done now and promises were made because of it.

I don't know how you expect random slave NPCs to have dialogue or interaction with any real depth. Given how the game actually works - you do realise it's not controlled by some Turing-level AI, right? - the content you claim to want can only come from custom NPCs.

Okay, as someone who has partial knowledge in making a game in java, with the amount of things you can do during sex, that put too MUCH VARIABLES to consider if you just wanna talk after sex like "Oh you came six times during that sex?

The BEST the dev can create is pretty much just show variables that happened during sex. The dev has to create a seperate new function which records the entire sex. THE ENTIRE SEX which will slow the game down that longer it takes and will just delete it afterwards unless the NPC is not just a rando or doesn't want the rando to get deleted, it will just get added to the long list of variables the NPCs had in the game.

Assuming this is part of Helena's romance quest, there's a known issue where if you don't have wings to fly after Scarlett during this segment, she just disappears from the game. You could try to save-edit her location to the shop tile in Slaver's Alley, but your best option is probably to redo that bit with wings so that you can progress naturally.
I'm sure you can find western developers who will do loli content, but I daresay they won't be on the major platforms because regardless of how legal age differs between countries, none of them have a legal age that low.
If Inno isn't comfortable with (or just doesn't find the appeal in) loli content, then there's no reason for it to appear in the game.

I... Just wanted a bit more dialogue options... Maybe a free slave option? Have sex with someone after the fight then talk to them asking why they're doing the whole mugging thing? Just wanted to talk to them so I don't have to look for them again, beat them, then talk. I don't want anything extensive. The chat after sex could literally be a copy paste of what you ask if you don't do anything.
I very much enjoy the game for what it is already. I can spend hours finding random generated npcs in Slave Alley or in the alley ways. I, personally, find it enjoyable when I find a character that checks off a lot of things I find attractive. Yeah, I can custom make my own slave, but I just enjoy the whole randomly generated characters I find.

It would be cool if you could free a slave who you got particularly attached to (ie. high Affection). And a few more dialogue variations wouldn't be too hard to put into the game. Things like asking slaves/companions about their background are, I think, already planned.
You can also kind of already do stuff with muggers like you want above, just in a different order. That is, win the fight, then talk. NPC will then be available to meet, fuck, invite to live as a guest and take on adventures as a companion.

Yeah, I do the whole invite the mugger I particularly like into my house and get them back on their feet thing. Yeah, I know, I'm vanilla as fuck. Would also like if you freed one of your slaves, they could stay in your room or a guest room instead of a slave room.

Tolkienesque races like Goblins and Elves are simply never going to be part of the game. The others are - I believe - planned. Lamia are, I think, planned for when the story reaches the jungle. That said, there's currently 17 races (not counting racial variants like Zebra-morphs and Leopard-Morphs) in the game.

About loli content, I really don’t mind though, but I can’t wait to bang Meraxis and tell her whose power is being restrained so it won’t destroy the whole universe muwahahahaha.
Edit: Nevermind, save files was easy enough to edit xD Wonder if the quest line ended there before, seems like they just hid Scarlett from the world map instead of ”respawning her” in Slaver’s Alley.

I understand your stance and I also want that to happen but me looking at the codes of the game makes me really angry and dizzy at the same time. I wouldn't say it is a mess, it is pretty detailed. In fact, it is so detailed that it makes me angry and dizzy. It works but I do hope it has some work around since it eat a hell lot of memory.
Hey does anyone know if it is possible to have more than 1 penis in the game? I've tried searching online about it and found a post from the creator saying they will add it in version 0.1.99 which is ages ago.
