Love this game. Been playing back since like 1.5 or earlier. Have tried multiple goals, agendas, etc. Very fun. Still have some questions though:
1) What fetish/kink do prostitutes need for prostitution to give affection/obedience returns?
2) Some of the bonuses seem stackable and others not. For example crit % and crit damage seems stackable but lust damage I think isn't. In general, which ones stack and which ones do not? I could check this one myself but I'm doing it the lazy way by asking.
3) How the heck to get certain spells like cleanse (the one in the water path)? This isn't available at the arcane store. Also teleportation and most of the arcane-type spells are not available either. Are they just not implemented yet?
4) Some of the kinks/fetishes have no obvious game effect. Do they have an effect that I'm just missing? For example the kink-related ones (kink-curious and kink-advocate). Am I just missing something?
For new players of the game here's some basic advice:
- Pick your starting trait wisely. Good ones tend to be ones that give bonuses to obedience or slave income (rather than personal stats), because you can't get these later in the game.
- Unless you just like getting raped try to stay out of the way of trouble early. Rest frequently and stay in top form until you can swat everything pretty handily. Don't proceed with the plot too fast, and don't confront Brax too soon ... be sure you're geared up for him. Don't get caught in the succubi or incubi traps until you can swat them, but once you can do that then farm them for demon TF potions and to make them futa slave cows for your dairy farm (see below).
- Don't spend a lot on TF potions (buying or making them) because it's cheaper to make TF items or to just acquire the demon subtype and then TF yourself pretty much at will. All it takes is a demon tail to give yourself this ability.
- Similarly, don't spend a lot on buying items except for arcane scrolls, and selected special items such as breeder collars (if you're into that), the S&M collar, good weapons (crystals, swords, or shields), or special sets that you might want to collect, because it's generally cheaper to just make your own gear.
- For perks, get the arcane weaver perk and then focus on perks that boost your physique and arcane (not your energy and aura). Do that until you get your modified physique and arcane to 96. Get corruption to at least 36. Then you can focus on other things.
- If you're making it with a demon, or if you're a demon yourself, the child is likely to be an imp, especially if the other parent is also a demon (or imp). Because you can't use racial TF's on imps they're sort of a genetic dead end. This is important in case, like me, you're trying to build a dynasty/army of a certain racial type (humans).
- For gear, boost your crit % chance and crit damage early. Don't forget to gear up your companions too.
- If you want to make lots of phat cash fast, then collect a harem of futa succubi, give them the submissive and lactation fetishes, and send them to them to the milking chambers.
- If, like me, your goal is to maximize the breeding of certain "true bloods", then don't screw everything indiscriminately but pick your mates well and make judicious use of breeder collars, corruption bonuses, breeder fetishes, fertility/virility bonuses, etc.
