Inno said that it would be done last Friday, however, an additional delay has happened because the blog is being taken down and Inno is scrambling to get a website up and running. I believe this specific delay is justified, because:
- the blog has already booted a lot of accountless users off it a few weeks ago, so stuff is clearly changing on that website
- Inno showed proof all of the blog posts were flagged for inappropriate content
- Inno is communicating about setting up the new website, there is a barebones site up and they are talking about improving it

Edit: Also, it'll be pretty funny if she's abandoning the blog. The last things that will be said is months worth of delays followed by nothing. The game will look like actual abandonware rather than just functionally abandonware.

She makes so much money dude! I'm poor so maybe its not that much after tax and what not, but seeing the numbers in my currency, just one sum of what she makes would help out a ton. And she barely has to do anything! Atleast she never shows what shes currently doing, probably thinking that shes gonna write today then gets distracted by porn or politics or somthin.

Blogger is locking down on letting people access NSFW stuff without signing in with Google, which I imagine most people trying to use the site are averse to doing, on top of other measures that they're doing that was mentioned in a post above. Considering that people would otherwise not be able to access public builds without going out of their way to github/the substar, that makes getting people interfacing with the game (new or returning) harder, which is a threat to the bottom line.

Makes sense. This could definitely be a "drop everything and fix this now" issue if you haven't been doing anything else worth dropping. Although that really makes you wonder, why did she wait months to address such an important issue?

I guess the normal yearly pattern has been broken if we're skipping the winter update.

I see, so that hasnt changed. The problem was if you let them dom you (lead the sex). They'd start talking smack, and you had no way to turn the tables on them as their owner when you had enough of there smack talk. It locks you in on the submission role. But yeah, I see. Slaves only still. :/ was like 2 to 3 years ago. Probably more, I dont know now /shrugs,

Last I played it was when companions were still a thing too.

In ../res/txt/encounters/dominion/ there is a file called "slaveEncounters.xml". You can edit it to alter the sex scene.

Would probably be incredibly unbalanced, and hard to implement, but it'd be neat if you could enchant you own fluids to act like potions when they're (inserted) into someone

I was super bored at work and started going through the blog to chart the delays. From the start (which was 2016/09/01) I only got to 2017/02/11. In this limited 6ish months timeframe there were 16 releases, of which only 3 were on time, 2 were technically not late because there was no release date set, the remaining 11 were all late. Longest delay was 14 days, average was about a day. Man back in those days there were posts every day, sometimes twice a day... multiple updates within a single month (or two)... Guess I will have to delay this if the blog goes boom

I see where you're coming from, but actually personalities could be very useful.

I wouldn't imply that Inno would actually make use of anything, but in a sandbox style game that relies on generated content, rather than being handcrafted with each scene having its own author (e.a. CoC), a personality flag is a great way to tie in unique dialogue.

Otherwise, and more realistically assuming Inno does nothing more with it, personalities are as much a part of character description as any of the physical labels in a text based game.

Otherwise, and more realistically assuming Inno does nothing more with it, personalities are as much as part of character description as any of the physical labels in a text based game.
To her credit, there is one personality trait used for something. Confident thug offspring have alternate dialogue before a fight, calling you a 'poor lost little lamb'. And I checked. Manually. I've never seen so many well-balanced people in my life.

So that's one trait out of eleven. Twenty-two, if you want to split it between regular NPCs and offspring, which is a distinction that's already been made. Double again if you want to split it further between thugs and whores, since they'll have their own dialogues. Call that too many divisions if you want, but again, the above example is specifically for confident thug offspring. Between 'thug/whore' and 'NPC/offspring' that's four categories, and multiply again by eleven - for each personality trait - to get the total number of unique dialogues that would ostensibly need writing to make the traits worth something.
Forty-four.
Finally, those statistics lessons have a use.
And a character can have up to five set-exclusive traits; eight of them are paired off and the remaining three are in their own circle. So which trait takes the lead in the encounter? It can be a dice roll or they can be weighted so specific pairs take precedence.
Thus is born yet another decision to paralyze Inno for a week and a half. The remaining three to five months of delays are taken up dreading writing the dialogue, unless a Discord simp steps up and saves the day for a curt nod and a half-hearted pat on the ass.

That's a lot of bullshit and waiting for something that only pops up on the first meeting with an NPC or offspring.
Then again, it is something that looks like effort, and that increases the chance of it being the next project because it's an excellent thing to procrastinate with to avoid lengthening the damn game.

I can't help but think I just handed Inno a freshly-printed 'get out of work free' card. God knows, the current one is only held together by the strength and grace of... well, God.

What's the odds that after the long wait we're going to get even more obscure animal hybrids like axolotls or tardigrades something for that one person out of 8 billion who has wondered what it would be like to fap to one?

I keep hoping it's going to be a big expansion of the actual sex system to increase variety of interactions and descriptions for each thing as the best update, second the story stuff...not sure what else to hope for. I looked into how to add and write stuff for the game as some mod but it was too confusing for smol brained me. I can write, but getting it to be working code is not the same thing. :p

Update is finally here it seems



Hello again,
First of all, I'm sorry about how long it's been since the previous update. As I've previously mentioned, some personal issues which continued through December and January meant that I wasn't able to work on LT as much as I normally do. After that, I got a little swamped by bug reports and it took me a while to work my way through them, which is why this release was delayed over the past couple of weeks. Thankfully that's all over now, so the next updates should be released more regularly.
As for what's in this version, there are a lot of bug fixes and minor additions to the game, but there are no large content additions. I'm going to be focusing on that front for the next few releases, with main quest, side character, and minor place content being the focus.
There's also new art for three characters in this version. FriendlyAlienFriend ( ) has created art for Vanessa/Ms. Cunningham, while Davyn ( ) has created art for both Kalahari and Kruger.
Thank you all so much for your patience and support over the past few months, and I promise that I'll do my best to get the next releases out in a more reasonable timeframe. I'm aiming to get the next release (v0.4.8) out within two weeks from now, and will make a progress post next week to let you know how things are going!
P.S. I know that it's been a while now since the last public release, but I thought that I'd stick with the usual pattern of alternating public-preview releases so that the public release of v0.4.8 will be one that has a chunk of new content in it. I'll do my very best to get it done and released to you within two weeks without delay!

  • Added 'FOOD' and 'DRINK' item tags which should from now on be applied to any modded food or drink items (with the idea being that any effects gained from food or drink can then be applied from any item tagged as such).

Lilaya's house/Slave management:
  • You can now pick roses from Lilaya's garden (limited to 1 per day).
  • Added two new slave jobs; 'gardener' (4 slaves max., location is central courtyard garden); 'security' (8 slaves max., first security guard will always be posted at the entrance, with the others patrolling the corridors, has 'answer door' and 'entrance priority' job settings).
  • Added 'dining room' room upgrade, along with another new slave job, 'waiter'. You can choose to order a meal in the dining room, so long as you have slaves working as a cook and waiter.
  • Added 'slave lounge' room upgrade. Your slaves will go here when not sleeping.
  • Slaves will now sleep during idle time; the hours in which they sleep will depend on their race's nocturnality, and will be displayed in the job management screen via 'zzZ' next to the idle hour slots in which they'll be sleeping.
  • Added a new 'Sleeping' permission category, allowing you to specify whether slaves should sleep at night, during the day, or whenever they want (which will be based on their race's nocturnality).
  • Added description of slaves present/not present in their room description.

  • The 'breeder pill' and 'broodmother pill' items now disable the effects of menopause while their effects are active.

  • The 'Talon slash' combat move now deals 120% of the attacker's unarmed damage, instead of a flat 20.
Other:
  • Clothing and weapons of the same rarity are now sorted in inventories so that they're grouped together.
  • Added an 'Always' option to the fetish preferences menu, which makes it so that randomly-generated NPCs will always spawn with that fetish.
  • The subspecies pages in the encyclopedia now display the subspecies' nocturnality, whether or not they're aquatic, their default leg configuration, and whether or not they're short-statured.

(This will only be noticeable if you encounter an NPC who's already wearing a blindfold, as just like genitals & breasts, once you've seen their eyes then they will remain 'known' even if concealed afterwards.)
  • Lunexis now has minimum affection towards the player, Meraxis, Aurokaris, and Ursa.
  • Added 'Gangbang' options to sex actions when interacting with a slave so that you can more easily start a sex scene with all slaves who are present.
  • Added a shaft in the far west of the Bat Caverns which links them to Dominion.
Bugs:
  • Parsing, typo, and minor dialogue fixes.
  • Prevented friendly occupants in Lilaya's mansion from being able to get the 'Mushroom forager' job (it was intended as a background only for offspring found in the Bat Caverns).
  • Fixed issue where Lilaya would reference her growing a cock to get you pregnant even if she impregnated you via the effect of Amazon's Secret.

  • The 'Wolf-tease' action in Brax's office now works if you're an arctic wolf-girl.
  • Fixed issue during Nyan's first sex scene where she couldn't restart giving you a blowjob if you pulled out during orgasm.
  • When having submissive sex with a sissified Vengar, her cage is now correctly removed, and she also now correctly continues to wear a slave collar after being sissified.
  • NPC names which begin with a non-alphabetic character no longer have 'a' or 'the' automatically appended to the start of their name.
  • Upgrading rooms in the dungeon in Lilaya's mansion now correctly charges you the associated upkeep costs.
  • Fixed issue with sex action availability between size difference characters in the 'against wall' position (such as when the shorter character was facing the wall they were able to perform oral on the larger character behind them).
  • Fixed issue where the encounters while wearing a filly collar in Dominion street tiles were triggering far too frequently.
  • If a clothing item can be equipped during sex, but not in every possible slot, then the inventory will no longer show it as greyed-out.

Pretty classic Inno at this point so yeah, Honestly more content from modders than actual updates.

v0.4.6+ objectives
After these next two updates, I'll be continuing to focus on adding all of the content for Elis, as well as for the main quest. (Very minor spoilers!) I have four more major sections planned for the main quest before Lunette's content is resolved, so I'll try to add one of these sections in each of the next four public updates (0.4.5, .6, .7, and .8). After that, I'll flesh out the Foloi Fields and Elis content a little more, before moving on to the next part of the main quest, which will be located in a new area of the world map (which will be either the desert, jungle, or sea).

About time. Wouldn't mind so much if dialogue editing wasn't such a pain in the base game. Even the implementation in Keldon's mod is limited to replacing phrases in the entire game rather than just one encounter or scene.

Added 'dining room' room upgrade, along with another new slave job, 'waiter'. You can choose to order a meal in the dining room, so long as you have slaves working as a cook and waiter.
This is another odd one. Instead of having 2 people and a dedicated room on standby for just food, I would've implemented room service: While someone is posted in your bedroom, you have the option of sending them to retrieve items within the mansion for you. This would open the map which would show a tile's inventory upon selecting it. Retrieval would take an in-game minute or two depending on the distance from your location and standard movement modifiers like quadrupedal configurations. This might've worked even better if having a slave companion was kept officially instead of left dangling like a buggy tumor.

Another option, since Inno is tagging items, is to assign a slave to inventory management. Their job would be to sort items based on their tag, eg food/drinks in the kitchen and books in the library. This would be added in a similar fashion to permissions in order save job slots.
