Eh, you can also just subscribe for a month whenever there's an update that interests you. Or every second update. Or once a year. That's how I do it.

Come on, man, cut Inno some slack. She got so stressed by missing 4-5 self-imposed deadlines in a row, she needed to take a few months off to de-stress. I'm sure she will be back sometime within the next half a year with the promised small preview build. Even if she has to bloat it up with contributor content to meet the promised small ammount of new content.

You can always grind out 10 million gold for hours of using the aforementioned methods then put it in the bank and enjoy the couple thousand a day in interest. Just don't spend it all in one place.

There aren't really any good passive income sources that I know of at this point and I could not tell you why that was removed.

Bank interest isn't even good passive income, since you need to leave the house to collect it.

I just kidnapped a couple of succubi and set them as prostitutes. Prostitutes are 250 Flames(money) per hour.
Test Subjects are 150, Lab Assistants are 120. Office Workers are, suprisingly, 200 flames per hour. Maids and security guards are both 90.

I guess the final take-away is that I need more office workers.
Also, 'wasting' rooms by having two slaves to a room instead of four is probably cheaper overall, because you don't need such expensive modifications to keep them happy.

Personally I'm not sure why you would be so bothered with passive income anyway. With a couple biojuice cannisters and essences you can convert any random NPC you enslave into a dragon which, iirc, sells for ~200,000. It doesn't take much to never have to worry about money again.

Because then you have to constantly pay off the debt that your mansion accrues before you can build or modify new rooms.

It's better to just be in the black from the beginning.
