Java - Lilith's Throne [v0.4.10] [Innoxia]

I can't in good conscience give this game 1 star because it has a strong foundation and I've certainly gotten my share of entertainment out of it, but the dev has some serious issues. There are few (furry) porn games that combine good random generation, sex mechanics, customization, and half-decent (not perfectly balanced) combat like Lilith's Throne does.

That being said, the game has been in a development hell twilight zone for years because the dev constantly underdelivers on promises. There are two real possibilities. Either the dev has some serious mental problems, or is a psychopath that manipulates their SubscribeStar donors. Either way it's tough to say if it will ever get finished.

Lot's of things to do but little to dive in. Played this game a long while ago and years later it doesn't feel like much changed or improve. It also has the same problem as many sandbox game, trying to fit in a main story with the whole system, making the whole development a lot longer. It feels like there is no clear objective/vision from the author.

Was really excited when I saw there was modding potential but that is puddle deep too. Can only add items and race.

The sex/transformation system is rarely touched on when it's really the lifeblood of the game. So many things could be added/tweaked with real progression. Many details are sadly omitted in scenes too.

I hope modding is expanded upon or that the game itself becomes a community project.

Game is near unplayable. A buggy mess that almost never gets updated. The rare update doesn't add anything of substance (like for example continuing the main quest), instead it is just more empty broken content system or racial variant #69.
The economy is a mess, the items are a mess.
There are a million customization options but most of them do not actually do anything.

This is my favorite adult text game by far. Coc2 and TiTs are also good text games, but to me liliths throne is able to achieve far more and with less. The game is highly customizeable - allowing you to tailor the game to fit your fetishes. Although some of the customization options can make the game a little bit janky some times. There hasn't been any game breaking bugs from the different playthroughs I've played. You may notice some haters in the comments, but that's because the game is worth hating on. Most other adult text games suck so much they aren't even worth the time detailing what is wrong with it.

A very mechanically deep life-sim. Lilith's Throne gives you a ton of freedom and choices when it comes to what kind of sexual experiences you desire. You can modify your body to your freakish content that would give Corruption of Champions a run for its money. I've spent a decent amount of time just wandering the city wondering what kind of creature I'll run into next and what kind of relationship I'd like to have. You can fuck them or mug them, befriend or enslave, submit to or dominate, transform into something completely different, etc.

However, if you're wanting an RPG, you may need to wait a while. Honestly, probably a few years. The quests, while important for opening interaction with characers, are very few. The combat is easy once you put even the barest amount of effort into arming and training. Armor, weapons, and money is easy to acquire and craft. Personally, I don't mind the easy combat, but don't expect any deep strategy. Most fights will end within 3 turns.

This is also considered by many to be one of those cash-cow games that devs milk for as long as possible with meager and infrequent updates. The developer, Innoxia, isn't very well respected on the site (at time of writing) for delayed updates that don't add much to the game and don't address issues with the game. The discourse is what prompted me to write this review, because while an argument can be made against Innoxia, I also believe the game is very much worth playing even in its current state.

Honestly, the way this game is built is a great 5/5, but if I'm being honest, the updates currently bring it down several points. Most of the current updates are story questlines that don't really pay off, random game mechanics that you won't notice, or adding in modder created content. I enjoy the early game loop enough that I don't really notice, but I've stopped being excited on every update to just hoping that there won't be a game breaking bug this time. So, know it's good, but temper expectations. Still better than TiTS, though.

    v0.4.3.8

I have over 215 pornographic games on my computer, so I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur. Despite having played everything from full-3d vr games, hundred hour plus jrpgs and visual novels, immersive sims, all the way to the humble flash game, Lilith's Throne, a text based game, is my absolute favorite. Top of the list, bar none.

If you've been reading the reviews and aren't sure about it because you see people talking about particular fetishes, rest assured that the customization this games allows means you can tailor it to your own likes and dislikes. Don't like anal? One click in the options menu and it won't even be offered. Have a thing about feet? You can adjust the percentage of people in the game world who have that fetish, anywhere from no-one to everyone. You can adjust everything from the age, orientation, and gender spawn rates to making everyone a furry or no one a furry or only catgirls as far as the eye can read.

Yes, its one down side to people who haven't played it is that it is mostly text based (less typing, more button pressing), but several major characters have art built in, some even in varying states of undress based on how much your character has seen of them. Really this game wouldn't work in 3d or even 2d, since the budget would have to be higher than any AAA game in the past 10 years. The fully detailed descriptions and individual quirks keep it from feeling repetitive. Each of these can also be applied to your character.

Speaking of your character, they are fully customizable at the outset of the game, with potential for transformation content (although I have reached the end of the current build several times as a plain human). You want to be a daemon? A slutty fox girl? An aligator-badger-cow-man-woman? With bat wings and cotton-candy flavored cum? All well within possibility. This game really shines with its descriptions, allowing you to get a full picture of each character, head to toe.

There are honestly a few negative points, just nothing that bothered me personally enough to have much issue. The updates are a little... slow. From what I hear the creator, Innoxia, wants it to be a one-person show, and hasn't accepted much help with a game that is eventually going to be big enough in scope to necessitate a multi-person team. I totally get the idea, and I don't begrudge them like a lot of people do, but if it meant more of this game I'd beg them to expand.

There's also the issue with planned updates not having the promised content, and small random additions and tweaks taking priority over expanding the main game and quest-line. Just the other day I got to the end of the current main quest, and I heavily sighed as I know it's going to be a while before there's anything else to do.

Not to say there's too little content, I could easily play for hours at a time by treating it as a sandbox, but I'm honestly attached to these characters and their world. It makes me a little sad that I'll have to wait around like I'm expecting another harry potter book, and when it arrives it will be long enough to get me excited again but not long enough to sate the hunger that builds up.

I hope you'll notice that none of my issues are with the game itself, which is why I kept the full 5/5. I highly recommend it to anyone, and suggest that if you give it a shot, don't pass judgement until you've adjusted things to your taste. When I start a new game I personally spend about 20 minutes changing options, spawn rates, and customizing my character. You can of course leave everything default, but it's worth it, trust me.

I also suggest exploring and doing side-quests. Trying to rush through kinda defeats the idea. After a while check out the discord and mod it to hell and back. I'm a huge sucker for any kind of customisation, and this game has it in abundance even without modifying it.

I hope this has convinced someone to give it a try, and I hope you'll love this little gem as much as I do. :devilish:

Ok, the updates are really slow, but if you're looking for a few hours of great text transformation, pregnancy, rape content then this game will do. It's not TiTs or CoC, but it's the best alternative once you get through the content there.

TLDR: A mainly text based game with a great deal of customisation, interactions and fetishes. Lilith's Throne has a story going for it, but its still pretty early in its conception.

Overall an amazing game with lots of thing to do and see

I'm really enjoying this game. It has so much to offer in terms of customization, exploration, and is quite fun. The story is even somewhat interesting albeit a little silly but that's a lot more than can be said for some other games. The scenes are really interactive yet the dialogue feels like it was written organically. Additionally there is content for people of all preferences and this can be customized by the user. Really just plusses across the board

This has to be the most detailed and most ambitious text-based hentai game I've ever played. It's up there with Trials In Tainted Space (TITS) and Corruption of Champions 2 (COCII)

You play as a Character Created Male or Female Based on your liking, desire and own fetish. You get captured by a succubus named lilith and sent you to a world where Lilith and the Succubus taken over the world with lust, sex and libido. Your character just wants to find a way out.

Here is something you need to know about this text-based game. EVERY TEXT, DIALOGUE, NARRATION, and INFORMATION IS IN FULL DETAIL. The RPG mechanic combat is in full detail of how you hit, defend, sexual attack and escape. The Sex events are very long, but in full detail of how it played out ;) and A lot going on in just plain text.

The Gameplay has a a lot of variety. You have Arcane powers (Magic) and can summon or use spells. You can just do range or melee combat like swords and guns, you can equip many clothing or wear reveling clothing or none. Or Do sexual teasing attacks to make your opponent turn on and unfocused on the fight.

If you Win or lose in Combat, there are many ways the sex events can go. Femdom, Maledom, Rape, Reverse Rape, Transforming, Voluntary NTR, Involuntary NTR, force Drinking, FemSub, MaleSub. Futanari, Lesbian, Gay, furry, threesome, foursome?(Not Sure if it goes higher), hypnotize and much more.

There are So Many fetishes you can get: Dom or Sub, Exhibitionist, bimbo, incest (WHY!?), Cocks, Pussies, Raping, Being Raped, Masochism, Sadism, Voyeurism, pregnancy and the list goes on and on.

Here is a story I made when I played this: I created an Innocent Female Girl that love Submission and Lesbians. But She hates Cocks, being raped and Hates pain (Anti-Masochist). I then let my Female Character be defeated and She got raped by a Sadistic Futanari Girl XD. And Of course my female character is pregnant from the Futanari and the Futa sneered and taunted my female character for bearing her children. I then defeated the Futa girl and started talking to her and soon my female Character and the Futa girl are now lovers, and start to live together in the same home XD.

You can change the preferences, like what you want to see in this game and what not you want to see. You can remove furries, or make furries look like humans with animal traits. Populate the area with just females or males, or futanaris. It's your choice and desire. You'll find out why you can do this preferences once you progress the story.

I love this creativity and how much content is there in this massive sandbox game. Sure this game is unfinished and has ton of bugs and issues, I'm very glad the state of the game it's in. I Can't wait for this game to give more content.

Edit (March 9, 2024): This game has recently been abandoned. This will not change my rating because of the amount of content and variety is has to offer. Very sad that this is the outcome :(

I never thought I'd like a text-based game like this, but seriously... If I take the time to play it well it's really good. I really appreciate the amount of work the developer has put in to this and the quality of the content. It's one of the few games here that allows male/male and female protagonist which I really like. Props Innoxia!

    4.2.3 (exe)

Probably the most enjoyable sex game I’ve come across. The only big con I have is the major focus on furries but it is drowned by the positives.

I love the magic system and how the character progresses in terms of levels and strength; I love the broad range of kinks, even if some are underdeveloped as of this version.

The BDSM aspect with all its toys and gadgets is not by any means polished but boy oh boy do I love every everything about it.

Story wise, the game has quite the interesting plot with an extraordinary twist, which I didn't expect. The second town/city is quite barebones in this version

Also, there is a slavery system which allows you to passively make money by exploiting the cripplingly poor, good stuff. Though on this version if you enslave an out-of-city encounter they'll be deleted after the fight so don't do it.

The characters are also well written and don't feel generic. Beware of traps!

In conclusion, even though the game is nowhere near complete, what is in it right now is quite a lot already and I dig it very much. give it a try if the furries aren't too much of a turn off

Stumbled upon this a couple of days ago, and had some great fun with this. Why the 3 stars then? Well, let me explain. That's gonna be a long wall of text and in this particular case I'm not gonna provide a TLDR version, so brew yourself some coffee or something, buckle up and LET'S GOOO!

In short, those are the pros:

    1. Mechanics are quite solid in its core and some are interesting overall. Especially enchanting: it's just the cream of the crop amongst the most, if not all, enchanting systems I've ever seen in games, as well as the lore-explained counter-balancing feature that discourages you to go enchanting every sock you wear to the max. I especially liked how some certain personality traits affect every character's speech in the game - a very neat touch.
    2. Somewhat related to the enchanting system I've mentioned: there's tons customization options to make. You can literally mold your character into whatever you want.
    3. The progression feels pretty nice(that is, until you pick up that one broken perk in the middle branch and go unarmed physique build with all related perks and enchantments)
    4. The plot and the lore is pretty entertaining to seep through. I dare to say: some of the best ones in the heavy porn-related games like this one. Same goes for unique NPC interactions and dialogues - it's just that good and satisfying to read most of the times. The game feels alive.
    5. Most of the times, if not all, you have plenty of choices to make in order to progress.

Now onto negatives that counteract those pros with some more explicit commentary.

    1. While the core mechanics are solid, the game struggles with variety to represent them. I have no qualms with battle mechanics, they work as intended. Sex mechanics, however, is a different thing altogether: every sex option you can choose has two or three slightly different description variations of that particular act. For a text-based game where you fuck a lot, it's a bit too meager, don't you think? And that doesn't go for generic NPCs only, but for every NPC in the game.

Imagine my confusion when I started fucking with some unique NPC with some particular traits, and they behaved and talked in the exact same ways as any other ordinary Joe or Jane you've encountered up to this point. In case of unique NPCs, however, there's often some neat flavor text in the beginning of the scene that can go from a few lines to a few paragraphs, but after that? After that it's the same unvaried mundanity you've read thousands of times by then. It's a very bad sign when you start seeking to skip sex in a porn game, and that's exactly the case there.
Not gonna nitpick about other, more minor mechanics, just gonna say that they work and they need to be polished a bit more.
    2. While there are tons and tons of customization options, you barely have any indication of it. Same goes for other characters. Basically, unless you specifically inspect a character, or suddenly get some specific choices(like, fly over the wall if you have wings and similar stuff) you barely have any idea how anything, including yourself, looks like. While there is some fluff text that indicates that this or that character have those or these kinda bodyparts that you use to sex people, there's not nearly enough.
The peak of this kinda fluff can be seen when you expose someone's privates and the game explicitly describes the color or shape of everything related to this particular body area, but there's not gonna be something similarly explicit down the line about your or their body overall. For example, it'd be nice if the game occasionally described the color of eyes and shape of pupil or irises, when the characters look at each other or stare seductively or something. Or add some random fluff actions which describe other, unrelated to sex body parts during the act, like the partner ruffling your wings, stroking your monster-like arms, etc., etc. to give the player a more explicit idea of how you or them look like and add more intimate feeling to an act.
Basically, this lack in variety of descriptions renders the whole aspect of superficial customizations obsolete which deals a huge blow to the descriptive narrative, which is not good for a text-based game, while the heavier aspect where you transform your body parts into different ones might give you at least some gameplay advantages and that's about it.
    3. My main nitpick with progression is with only that one perk that I've mentioned. Anyone who played the game knows which one I'm talking about, and those who'll only start will realize immediately after the first look through the perk screen.
As for the perk system itself - it's mostly uninspired. While there are a couple of interesting options here and there, most of those you'll have to put your perk points into are those pesky "+1 to stat" padding perks. It shouldn't even count as "perks" IMO. The game explicitly states that the perk tree is a work in progress, so, I guess, whatever, it's gonna be reworked eventually or something.
    4. Whatever lore and plot is in the game, as I said - is amazing. But I do have a gripe with it: there's simply not enough. As of now, there's a somewhat reasonably-sized main quest chain in the Dominion(the first and the main city of the game world) and a bit of the following questline(presumably, the first part out of eight). Just a little bit though: enough to have a taste, but not even barely enough to sate the hunger.
As I found out later, the game was out for years now and it's experiencing the same bullshit treatment as the other game with the similar format(Monster Girl Dreams) and many other, if not most, of the user-funded games on the market.
Basically, there's barely any progress. For a long time now. Which saddens me to no end, because whatever framework is there - it's excellent.
Is it due to burnout? Or due to the fact that main devs want to keep milking gullible people until the moat runs dry? Unclear. What is clear, however, is that the Rance 10 MangaGamer's translation will probably be released before this game does, IF it does. In either case, however, most of us will be dead of old age by then, lmao.
    5. Can't really say anything bad about the choices and such, only that for repeatable ones there should be more fluff text for variety. Yeah, the lacking variety is the main concern for this game.

That's all I have to say about the game. Well, most of what I wanted to say.
    Do I recommend it? Depends.
If you don't mind blue-balling yourself over inconsistent updates, lacking content and don't find the lack of variety in the text-based games unappealing - then yeah? It's a pretty solid experience if you ignore all those bits.
    Otherwise? No.
Just write this game's name down in some note, bury it somewhere in your backyard and set an alarm on one of your devices to some time in a few years from now to unbury it and remember it ever existed and make your final decision. By then you are going to know whether the game was finally finished, accumulated a good modding community to keep it alive or was abandoned altogether. And, based on that, you'll know whether you want to play this game or not.

A fantastic story, coupled with probably the best sex implementation I've ever seen in a game, as well as some very hot interactions. Innoxia has rightly built a strong following for Lilith's Throne and we can all only hope it continues strong for years to come.

This game is pretty good, it has interesting combat and RPG system, a ton of transformations (if you are into this), content customization, big world with interesting NPCs and quests, the art is also quite good even though there is not much of it.
So why only 3/5? The sex system. This one system makes the very core of the game boring, repetitive chore, you could see 90% of the porn content in around 5 scenes because of how it works and get fed up with it in minutes. Almost always you are given a choice to fuck or fight and the more i played the more i fought instead of fucking.
Even unique NPCs with story and quests have the exact same sex scene as everybody else. You could say that there is only one sex scene in the game with slight variations depending on the partners.
I would love to lower the score to 2/5 but the rest of the game is pretty good, so i would feel bad about it.

An extremely unique game in the way it handles character customization and sexual content. I haven't seen such an insane amount of options in other games, but that is also its bane. The game's design is so loose to fit all of its ambitious size, it also suffers 'leaks' in every aspect precisely because of said ambition.

Don't get me wrong, I've spent way more hours in this game alone than in most other hobbies (or obligations). It's great that you can tailor your own (and most of the other) character's appearance to fit your whims in almost every possible (from overall size and shape to each individual parts), and the RPG-like style of sex where you can choose positions and actions every turn gives you a freedom that other text-based games lack (as they usually just offer a pre-written block of text). If you're a sucker for customization and choice, this can scratch that itch pretty well.

The problem is that it lacks concrete content. Most of the characters you'll interact with are completely random, so their lines are obviously very simple and repetitive. There are only a handful of them important enough to have a fleshed-out personality, and even then your relationship with them is only superficial because of the sheer amount of other stuff that Innoxia has to add into the game.

I think it's just a matter of overreaching. The game attempts to do everything at the same time and it's just not possible for a single person to achieve that. The time between updates is proof enough. The game may go by for months without any new content, and when it arrives it's usually just fixes or add-ons to the existing systems that don't really feel like true progress.

It's a shame really, but I still recommend everyone to at least try it. It can give at least some good few hours of great fap material until it gets old (although when it does, it won't be easy to milk any more enjoyment out of it).

How many years does it take to make a video game? Assuming that this game's video game development started in 2017, who knows how many years will it take to make this video game whole. Sure, it's in Java, has an amazing UI mechanics, gameplay, intriguing lore, but as of now, it still feels as hollow as it was a few years ago. How many years have I waited for this game to implement the village outside of Dominion? What about the other places in the world map? It still feels as shallow as it used to be years ago, and who knows if in the way, Inno will scrap and change some parts of the game on the way. And who knows if this game will be like "Omori" , who took 6+ years to make and had a lot of stuff revised and delayed, etc., scrapped mechanics and some angry fund donators. I hope it will be full enough 6 years later.

Really interesting content when it comes to races and hybrids, freely-transforming demons, and running a business out of your aunt's house, But it all falls to shit when you consider how slow the updates and how meaningless the content they add is, I played about a year ago and decided to do a new arcane-focused run (magic) and honestly the new content isn't worth the replay, as of 0.4.1.9 there's so much placeholder in the overworld that I don't understand why even bother having an overworld, everything is either unwritten or "Will be added soon!" I genuinely don't see the point of adding this to the game in this sorry state.

About the sex scenes, there's a certain novelty in being able to choose different body parts and so on during each session, but it quickly fades when you realize NPC dialogue is dogshit (no offense to the writer) and every sex scene is just going to more or less be the same, NPC AI is also really boring so there are no interesting surprises to wait for, it all just sort of happens.

Overall I kinda like the magic system, perks are cool, the main city is cool, overworld sucks, new content is barebones and kind of shit, sex scenes are about as interesting as watching paint dry, slavery system is looking alright, but definitely needs work.

I'm being generous giving this a 3/5 considering that this game seems like it'll hit v1.0 by the end of 2060.

There is a lot to love about this game.
    • Some of the best character customization out of all the text rpgs of this kind (i.e. CoC, TiTS, etc) as well as a great fetish system that affects how your character responds to certain actions.
    • A neat enchanting system that allows you to make items that help with combat stats or even force TFs to happen, or fetishes to grow on the wearer. (These can be used on yourself or your slaves/companions.)
    • A solid and consistent world with interesting characters and locations.
But there is also a glaring flaw: the modular, turn-based sex system is boring. At first, it's exciting that you get to control what direction the lewd scenes go in, but that excitement quickly vanishes when you realize that there are no curated, well-written sex scenes. Even unique characters lack their own scenes, meaning you'll find yourself missing the finely crafted sex scenes of something like TiTS or CoC.
