Jesus, can anything get done to in this game without breaking something? My core stats and a bunch of quest flags get reset every time I load now.
What did you do right before this happened, if you can recall or have a "clean" save?
Since you can pretty much save unlimited files (don't forget to compress them though, save XML is huge due to all the bloat that should honestly be in properties.xml when it has nothing to do with the current playthrough) just disable autosaves completely and save like a maniac. That's what I've been doing, at least, since that's how I can playtest and traceback easily (I should just compile the dev build so I can make a very verbose live dump...) from the jar.
i have a question: companions and slaves are very promising but why the developer hasnt updated anything about them?
The answer to why is in another realm. Lilith can't help you with this. Since I've been pulling enough all-nighters to actually have to stop pulling all-nighters completely so I don't vanish from the forums until I recover from excessive sleep deprivation, I'm going to have to take a little break... and this doesn't really please me because I got hooked to seeing how hard I can break this thing without touching any codeline.
Ah right, I forgot about the quick modding option for someone who wants a quick item available ingame and actual dialogue. Thank you and thanks to the original poster for sharing that one.
Well then here is a way to make things easier for you, but not totally broken or needs you to enable Silly Mode for the Bonk Bat.
Summon an Elemental once and just let it follows you everywhere.
The fact that it regains full health and mana after each fight (or mini-fight, like those when you attack the imp citadel head-on) is invaluable, and enemies will 99% of the time prioritize your elemental over you. I usually go for an Earth Elemental early on, since it's very durable and fits my physical dmg style well. You can also transform your elemental to have useful body parts (spiders for web shooting, or serpent tail for that Tail-constrict action, those 2 are the best imo) to gain more utility in a battle. Transform her to have 6 arms in active form? You got yourself an India god with 6 bonk bats, ready to eradicate all hornier of this world.
Going to test this once my health becomes "sufficient" again. Thanks for the idea.
Also, players who want to go batshit crazy (literally) and who are unsure about a trait that isn't Soldier might want to pick the Athlete one (or turn into a cheetah - unless you magically turned the game into spawning a fuckton of cheetahs, you have a backup plan if things go south and you don't want to lose for some reason, I don't know, "perfect walkthrough" or "no rape please" lol) to 100% run away from massive encounters if not even your Elemental acting as a meatshield prevents you from one-hitting everything without cheating.
You should still be able to arouse-aura as well as delust the shit out all targets very early on, so unless I missed something, the only way that wouldn't work (and assuming you don't want to or can't save) would be four or five targets refusing to target the Elemental or too many enemies starting with 100 lust.
(An even easier way would be to hardfix the bat, but I like your bat the way it is! Glad you mentioned it because I completely missed it in the code, and because I'm really, really not fond of dicks, I tend to stay away from "normal" Vicky so I wouldn't have noticed it ingame...)
