Please don't apologize! Never intended to sound reproachfulSorry
I actually learned a lot about Java and macOS/Unix Terminal commands because of this trainwreck. So I guess it's a win win lol?

Inno no longer likes writing. Or she sucks at it. Likely both, based on some of the recent additions.1234
Nah, nothing so technical.
It was someone else's writing.
And it was inconvenient to code.
Then she needed more writing and more coding for it so its gotta get scrapped.
More like 1/7th. Unless you're being extremely generous when saying "completed" and including the second area of the game as complete. In an interesting coincidence, I started college with Inno's first post and finished with a bachelor's in biology with her most recent. During the time I have been completing the entirety of my undergraduate education and deciding my career path, Inno has, uh... *checks notes* Finished about a fourth of the game? Is that correct? I'd say I'll check back in 2045, but I'm pretty sure this thing is going to buckle and implode on itself before then and no way am I missing that.
Yeah, I was being super generous and basing it solely on how many of the planned zones actually exist. I haven't played any of the second area's content to know how truly "complete" it is. I even decided to round up slightly on account of how bloated the supposed "tutorial" area is.More like 1/7th. Hell, the tutorial area isn't finished completely yet, she just moved on because she was getting shit for working on the second area for four years without releasing anything.
The Wiki page seems to be working just fine for me.Does anyone know what's up with the wiki? I keep getting connection time outs when I try to access it
I figured it out, my ISP seems to block the wiki for some reason. I can access it just fine on any internet other than my home routerThe Wiki page seems to be working just fine for me.
Your post is about 12 hours old, so not sure if you are still having this issue or if it has cleared up.
Try restarting your machine and your router. If you are still having problems it is likely a localized issue for where ever you are located at.
No.Is there a way to become a slave instead of buying one?

Sometimes I think these devs should just work on a framework and let the community do the content.Inno no longer likes writing. Or she sucks at it. Likely both, based on some of the recent additions.
That's the only conclusion I can take at this point. The one thing that *always* causes long delays and ends up not getting completed is the writing. It's the piece that's constantly delayed and pushed back, and then gets forced last minute only to end up being placeholders that never go away.

Short answer; no.Is this game considered well coded or not? I finish an intro to OOP class in java at uni but I'm not sure I'm proficient enough to judge. Imo from the github it looks messy
The coding of this game was decent at the beginning, but it has literally spiraled out towards a ever growing spaghetti monster that is filled with the most mundane of issues. Leave it be.Is this game considered well coded or not? I finish an intro to OOP class in java at uni but I'm not sure I'm proficient enough to judge. Imo from the github it looks messy
It comes down to which setup you prefer, and how much money you feel you need. I run out of stuff I need shitloads of money for after a bit. Then it's just burning a hole in my pocket, even with obsessively keeping my essence in the upper four-digits. After a point, flames have next to no value. Not sure if this is wildly known information by now, but I feel confident that I've found the best way to make money once you reach the mid game.
Buy any number of equippable items, and a bunch of essence. Enchant all of the items with the enslavement property. Then go to one of the "very dangerous" spots in the city, and explore.
If you beat Succubus you encounter (usually around level 7 or so), you can equip them with the enslavement item, and sell them for around 50k. It isn't hard to generate a million gold within the span of 20 minutes or so.
This is a massively better money making method than the other one I saw people listing (which is enchanting food and selling it to the snack vendor).
Since milking was nerfed, the best way of making money (and getting arcane essences and leveling up in the process) are cultists, they suppose near no threat and give you an expensive set of witch clothes and broom. They also drop Lilith's Gifts and some money. Just spam '1' and the spacebar. Not sure if this is wildly known information by now, but I feel confident that I've found the best way to make money once you reach the mid game.

I think that might be handwaved by the PC's lilin-tier aura. Even in a draw, the other person isn't going to overcome it, so the player stands up first. The rule "With a draw you win" makes the game incredibly simple. Is it possible to change it somehow so that a draw, if it did not lead to defeat, at least did not allow you to loot the opponent and get all the opportunities of the winner?
I'm afraid there's nowhere else: I've just passed the available quests on the last difficulty, without suffering a single defeat. It wasn't that difficult, but rather just more tedious. And, alas, this is not what is needed...You can always boost the difficulty.
