Can somebody please explain how egg-laying works? I assumed I just had to tail-fuck people with my ovipositor, but nothing's happening.

IIRC, you already have to be pregnant and have an appendage that can lay eggs before you can pass your eggs on to someone else

and i believe the one receiving eggs has to have an egg-laying womb not a live-birth womb. meaning AFAIK you can't egg-impregnate peoples colons or throat/stomachs or live-birth wombs

Nah, you can do that stuff. It's like HoloJesusCard said, you just need to be pregnant and have an ovipositor.
So I solved my own problem, apparently the one factor I was missing was Femininity, this was based off the option for Orientation Preferances as this effects NPC behavior on who they choose. The reason involuntary NTR didn't kick in was because both characters were female, when I changed one to male it worked.

Alrighty perverts that download my modded version, I've redesigned my site, and added a MacOS version. Since Innoxia won't build for MacOS I did. If you find your way to my site I have also disabled the obscene images from showing by default.

Is there a way to force your children to only be feminine? I disabled masculine and androgynous NPCs in my gender settings but for some reason found one my sons in an alleyway.
I don't think there is a way to force your kids to only spawn as females. Disabling or setting those gender types to minimal, should skew your kids heavily towards females, but I think there is always a small chance one of your kids will be a male.
If nothing else, this is a game about transforming, so you could talk to them enough to unlock their inventory and then feed them a potion that makes them a female.
You should be able to get transformation items easily enough. However, some other ideas are to get a couple of slime potions, and then enchant one to be a de-sliming potion. Turn your kid into a slime, sculpt them into exactly what you want, and then unslime them. This is probably way easier and cheaper if you're making a whole mess of changes.
Alternately, you can enchant an item of some kind that will remove the penis, add breasts and vagina, and add femininity every hour. This has the big advantage of being reusable, so once you've dealt with your son, you can take the ring or necklace or whatever off to stick on the next kid.
